Mammut war mal eine teure, aber sehr gute Marke. Inzwischen nur noch teuer, billige Qualität, langsamer und nicht hilfsbereiter Customers "Service". Habe eine sehr teure Regenjacke aus der "150 Zermatt Matterhorn"-Kollektion gekauft und diese nur einige Male getragen. Bei dem ersten Waschen (war nicht einmal notwendig) - mit Outdoor-Waschmittel im Autdoor-Programm - gingen sämtliche Nahtabdichtungen flöten. Musste für den Customers "Service" Bilder machen, und endlose Serien- und Modell-Nummern ausfüllen, damit ich nach Wochen als Antwort bekomme, dass man nichts mehr machen kann. Geschäfte von Mammut gibt es kaum noch, denn sie sparen überall (Qualität und Service), nur die Preise sind deutlich höher, als bei der deutlich besseren Konkurrenz.

Every effort to communicate with this company results in ”Dead-End” links , false email address , “Customer Services” that do NOT Respond , along with a plethora of returned enquiry forms ( as link does not work).

Avoid this company unless you have a magical access to their customer services .
Or more money than sense .

Un site internet bugué depuis des semaines. Après plusieurs réclamations car impossible de passer commande sur le site. Seule réponse du service client (sensé répondre en 48h lol), bug sur le site et pas possible de commander par mail. Travaillant dans un magasin d'équipement sportif, je suis sidérée par le peu d'efforts fournis. Aucune solution apporté, aucun travail sur le site. TRES MAUVAIS SIGNE, A FUIR.

Compré una pieza de bicicleta y la pagué por bizun y me anulan el pedido porque dicen que no les ha llegado el dinero cuando a mí si me lo han descontado y se lo he demostrado mandado el justificante de pago y el extracto de cuenta en fin unos impresentables

Nie wieder Mammut Reparatur Service.
Habe ein kleines Loch in einer Mammutjacke. Auf dem Anfragebogen, (habe Foto geschickt) hatte ich geschrieben, dass ich nicht mehr als 25 Chf ausgeben möchte für die Reparatur (Excel. Porto).
Mir wurde das bestätigt und ich habe die Jacke eingeschickt. Danach kam eine Mail, dass es doch 90Chf kosten soll.
Echte Abzocke. Kann ich nur vor warnen. Und das soll dann Kunden zu Nachhaltigkeit anregen...

Ganz miese Produkte. Trekkig-Schuhe ein paar mal getragen und schon löst sich hinten die Sohle. Die Qualität ist einfach nicht vorhanden und Reperatur und Ersatz sind teuer und kompliziert. Finger weg.

Have a pair of shoes that started leaking after 10 months. Sent them for repair 25th June. Still waiting to get them back. Emails go unanswered the call centre is able to contact the repair centre or give me a number to ring them myself.
Complete shambles

Habe 2 gelöste Brusttaschenreisverschlüsse an 2 meiner Winstopper-Jacken reklamiert, ein RV ist allerdings nur auf einer Seite abgelöst. Nach vielen E-Mails und Fotos kam die Nachricht mit dem Reparaturvorschlag. Für den einen ganz abgelösten RV wollen die für das wiedereinkleben15€ haben und für den 2ten, halbabgelösten RV 25€. Das ist eine Frechheit 40 € für zwei RVs zu verlangen zumal ich ein langjähriger und treuer Mammut-Kunde bin und Mammut-Sachen und Ausrüstung im Wert von weit über 10T€ besitze. Ich hatte erwartet das die Reparatur für die 2 RV an meinen Windstoppern kostenlos durchgeführt wird, aber ich habe mich getäuscht. Deshalb werde ich meine Bergausrüstung künftig bei der Konkurrenz einkaufen. MfG Hans-Albert Schindler

PS. Meine 699€ teure Mammut EigerExtreme (Nordwand Pro Jacket Men) entspricht nicht den Erwartungen hinsichtlich der Wasserabweisenden Eigenschaft.

I approached the customer service department, because my backpack was very sticky from the inside. My question was if I could do something about it, because things that are inside the backpack get sticky too. This was the response.

"This is a delamination. The rucksack is already very old and out of warranty. A repair is also not possible.
Please refrain from sending it in."

Because I wanted to know what I could do about it, I send another email. Then this was the response.
"The backpack is more than 10 years old. This was the response from the customer service:
the backpack model was produced until 2009 and is therefore over 14 years old.

This means that the backpack has already reached the end of its service life with normal use. In addition, external influences such as storage, cleaning etc. are also decisive for the preservation of the materials."

I then asked them the following question: "Thank you for your response. The backpack was hardly used, which is why I am surprised by the issue. I understand your explanation, but I still have one question. I wonder what kind of material is used in the backpack and if PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are involved. In case of degradation, I am concerned that it might not be good for my health, as everything placed in the backpack would come into contact with the damaged material. Can you please clarify and let me know if you advise not to use the backpack anymore?"

I am still waiting for an answer to my questions. I am surprised by the apparent lack of focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly solutions. Additionally, my question about whether the Mammut backpack contains PFAS remains unanswered, which I find concerning.

Bei meinen 3 Jahre alten GTX MS Wanderschuhen hat sich während eine Trips bei beiden die Schuhsohle abgelöst. Bei Rückfrage bei Mammut bekam ich die Antwort die Sohle unterliegt einem physikalischen Prozess der nach Jahren seine Zusammensetzung verändert und zerfällt. Unglaubliche Antwort.😡

Reißverschlüsse an einer Windjacke haben sich schon nach wenig Tragen gelöst. Sie sind an einer Seite geschweißt oder geklebt, das hält nicht. Meine Schneiderin hat von einem gleichen fall berichtet.
Ich würde dieses überteuerte Zeug nie wieder kaufen.

Low-quality products and terrible customer service. I sent my backpack for warranty, and it's been with them for two months. They claimed they had sent it back three weeks ago but could not provide proof of shipment. Now, I need to start a dispute against them because they're unwilling to reimburse me. Luckily, I am a lawyer, so I know exactly what to do and how to get my money back.

The last time I had this experience was when I accidentally purchased from a scam Chinese company.

Bei meiner älteren, 180,- Euro teuren Fleecejacke hatte unser Hund den Reißverschluss angeknabbert. Eine Seite des RVs war noch in Ordnung. Dazu war der Stoff auf ungefähr 10 Quadratzentimeter kaputt.
Wunsch war nun, die eine Reißverschlussseite auszutauschen (bzw. einen kompletten passenden zu nehmen, aber nur eine Seite zu wechseln) und einen kleinen Flicken einzusetzen.
Nun sollte die Reparatur 120,- (!!) Euro kosten, allein für den RV würden 90,- Euro anfallen. Wohlgemerkt bei einer Fleecejacke, nicht bei einer vertapten Regenjacke.
Meiner Meinung nach ein Witz und nahe an einer Unverschämtheit. Die Leute vom Customer Service machen in der Regel wirklich einen hervorragenden Job, aber 120,- Euro sind mehr als unangemessen!!

Schuhe bestellt, schuhe drücken - Rücksendung eingeleitet, keine Reaktion, keine Rückerstattung.

Malísima calidad de ropa. El día 13/12/23 con número de pedido 11990666 realice la compra de una chaqueta Mammut por valor de 100€. No tiene ni 3 usos y le están saliendo bolas. Malísima calidad, no recomiendo esta marca.

Wasted money, nerves and time.

Poor product quality, high price, disrespectful handling of the complaint and lack of contact from the Mammut store in Piaseczno.

On October 22, 2022, I bought a jacket from Mammut Albula in Hybrid Jacket men, the jacket was used seasonally, mainly under a ski jacket from the same company. At the beginning of 2024, the jacket looks like a rag, has frayed and worn places on the collar, quilted elements have no filling in many places, looks like it came from a garbage can and is unusable.
I submitted a complaint in March 2024, which was rejected, again in April this year and rejected again - Mammut's response "accidental damage of a mechanical nature resulting from the user's actions and natural wear and tear of the product"...

Either courier Parcel force or mammut is lying about dispatch of shoes. after-sale service is out dated and hopeless they have asked me to fill the form scan it and send back to them. No news after that I have not received refund. proof of delivery they have provided is a joke as it is a picture taken inside a house, who lets delivery people inside the house to take pics. Needless to say this is not my house it may be house of that delivery driver.

Zero customer service.

No reply to a support ticket (other than automated reply) regarding faulty Mammut boots, I have chased it up many times.

I will never buy from this company again and I expect (and now hope) they will go bust within a few years.

£150 wasted. I might take them to small claims court.
