Customs fees make purchasing extremely inconvenient.
I think the title already says it all. My order is from March 12 and the next day I received a message saying it was ready to be handed over to the Aramex courier. The courier would have picked it up on March 16 and it arrived in Italy around March 25: they certainly aren’t in a hurry to deliver, but that’s the least of the problems. The notice that the goods have arrived in Italy actually comes from Customs, which is asking for €21.81 in taxes: this is an amount that is over 50% of the value of the goods ordered. Add to this the more than €13 from Aramex, and it’s easy to understand why I will never buy from this store again. I have purchased beauty products from several Asian sellers directly in their country, and this is the first time customs taxes have been applied: which explains why LM CHING’s prices “seem” so much better than the competition. If you want me back as a customer, open a warehouse in Europe or rely on AliExpress, it’s up to you, because both shipping and taxation are at absurd and unsustainable levels for the buyer. Goodbye.
UPDATE after LM CHING's reply: It's good to know the existence of such a thorough help center. But perhaps you didn't notice that in your website there's no "HELP CENTER" link at all. I believe that, and you may disagree, since you know full well that the buyer will have to bear additional cost of import taxes, for transparency and fairness it would be appropriate that you place a clear banner in the homepage header. Or at least that's my opinion.

In merito alla Vs risposta vi scrivo in italiano, così tutti possono rendersi conto di quanto siete mendaci:
1) Ho un Vs feedback via mail del 16 febbraio ore 12.58 che afferma che l'ordine é stato processato e che presto riceverò gli articoli non in 18 come affermate.
2) visto che vendete anche in Italia, a fronte dell'acquisto, avevate già specificato che erano dovute 12.98 euros di tasse per l'import non 12.98+22.09=34.67 euro di tasse import/export su un importo nominale di 40.7 euro ammontano all'85%!!!.
3) Mi cheido come facciate a vendere in Italia propalando info mendaci sulle tasse/import/export.Ma credo la risposta sia semplice : siete semplicemente truffaldini e poco trasparenti. italiani diffidate dal comprare da questo fornitore.

However, the delay you are experiencing is due to customs clearance in your country taking longer than usual, likely because of a high volume of shipments being processed at this time.
We have already requested the shipping carrier to do everything possible to expedite the process. Unfortunately, customs clearance is handled entirely by local authorities, and neither we nor the carrier have the ability to influence or speed up this procedure. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this is an occasional and unavoidable situation.
Regarding the additional tax payment, please note that import duties and taxes vary depending on each country’s regulations and may change over time. The amount you are being asked to pay is determined solely by your country’s customs authorities. We do not collect or benefit from these charges in any way—they are mandatory fees imposed by the government on international shipments.
