Rien ne fonctionne, rien n'est clair, tout est obsolète, la moindre modifications qui devrait être simple prends 3 plombes et donne envie de jeter son pc par la fenêtre.
Au moins, on peut quand même écrire avec, je suppose que c'est déjà bien, améliorez vous ou faites faillites.

Pire suite de logiciels ever, ergonomie abominable, fonctionnalitées limités, rien ne marche jamais comme prévu, tout est rigide et mal foutu.

La pire poubelle du logiciel libre, on dirait presque qu'il est délibérément sabotté par ses developpeurs pour être aussi nul. Dommage.

Que ce soit l'editeur de texte de l'enfer, impress le power point de la hess, ou leur version au rabais d'un spreadsheet, rien ne marche. Notepad++ et mieux foutu pour mettre du texte en page, c'est dire....

Libre Office is a nightmare when it comes to constructing tables and formatting. If you try to modify or delete rows, it will change the whole table and move all text into different rows. This thing is extremely whacked out and user UN-FRIENDLY. Stay away from this application.

The latest updates to LibraOffice are absolute rubbish.'The "Navigator window does not work and inserted images are completely blank.
I've always liked LibraOffice, but this version is way below par.

Its awesome currently, there are so many similarities with Microsoft Word, and its easy to use, probably the best free alternative.

I'm a retired IT professional who transitioned from Microsoft Office to LibreOffice. The main reason for my switch is that, as a retiree, I don’t use it for business and don’t need the advanced features offered by Microsoft. Simply put, my needs don’t justify the expense, as Microsoft is quite costly.

In the five years since my retirement, I have found that there isn’t a single task I’ve wanted to accomplish in LibreOffice that I couldn’t. I use its spreadsheet application to balance my checking account monthly, write correspondence, print and mail merged wedding invitations, and engage in various crafting projects with its word processor. In return for this wonderful product, I make a yearly donation to support the effort.

Bottom line, If you do heavy work that requires extensive functions, LibreOffice might not be the best fit for you. However, for small to medium users with basic office needs, this software is definitely worth trying!

Lost couple hours of work because the file I saved several times, was empty after I opened it next day.. Buggy piece of ****..

Vraiment pas terrible. Des mises à jour très souvent. Pas du tout intuitif et comportement très bizarre. Je l'ai installé au cas ou MS Office aurait un problème (il n'a jamais de problème). MS Office est payant mais il vaut largement le coup. Je ne veux plus de logiciel gratuit qui m'empoisonne la vie.

its only good for writing simple documents or simple books (ex. not a lot of formatting), otherwise, its one of the biggest pieces of garbage ever shown to mankind

Have used Libreoffice for years. Got me through Uni, does absolutely everything we need and it's free! For an alternative to MS Office, it's honestly amazing

Using version 24.2. I need to do page numbering, including for a whole Master Document. It is a nightmare. There are at least seven different places that affect it (Paragraph style, Footer style, Break On/Off, Page style, Footer On/off, Insert Field, Insert Page Number) but none of them are in control. It is miraculous when the page numbers finally start to increase sequentially rather than merely copy the same number on all pages but I could never figure out what made that happen. In the Master Document, the first four sub-documents finally increased sequentially and the fifth started again at 1 for no discernible reason. I have to give up and search for something else that hopefully recognizes a Master Document. You need to get rid of all those Page Number settings and make it a single, unified feature.

I am happy, because it is Freeware. For Free and i don't have to pay for it. Microsoft is too expensive and i hate abos. It is free for the whole World and for people with not so much money.

While I appreciate there being a free alternative to MS, it would be great if Libre Office didn't crash several times a week (and I am only a light user). Also don't appreciate the forced updates and the requests for donations - would be happy to if it didn't crash all the time.

I used the libre office 7.5, found it to work great...up graded to libre office 25.2.3 and I have uniinstalled itafter 3 days of trying to fix issues with my desk top and I am still trying to fix issues with my desk top. Never use it again

Rubbish. File A has 100000 entries in column A. File B has 750000 entries in column A with a corresponding value in column B.

In column B of file A, try doing "=VLOOKUP, a1, fileB, A:B, 2 false).

It just hangs forever.

Excel 365 does the calc in two seconds.

Waste of time.

Much of Libre Office is very poorly designed in comparison to Open Office easier use and accessibility. Printing is quite complicated and not easy to change for type of output required eg portrait/landscape....It maybe more sophisticated technically but a lot of word obvious word processing requirements are hidden in oddly named drop-down menus.....which are not the norm in other applications

Switched over to LibreOffice a few days ago, after like ten years of hiatus. It could easily read all the Microsoft office (word and excel) documents I had and until now I haven't had a single issue yet. The UI isn't always easy to use, but for a free software I really don't mind spending the extra time. Also, no steep learning curve which I appreciate.
