No problem with outward journey (Folkestone-Calais) but delays on return due to "capacity problems" (new term for wrong kind of heat). As usual when there is a problem, apart from screen info nothing gets done to inform passengers. Crossing was otherwise quick and easy.

Yes, it was busy and the extreme heat didn’t enhance the experience, but on the whole, getting through the various stages of checking in, pet reception, passport control etc, all went well and no hitches. I found staff helpful and friendly at the same time, professional.

A delay of up to 3 hours meant waiting in the parking (holding) area on the hottest day of the year. Chaos and at no time were travellers offered cold drinks to help alleviate the hot conditions. No explanation to the delays announced. I have travelled frequently with Le Shuttle and this last journey has to rank as the worst.

All went straight forward......... Excellent for disabled, thoroughly recommend!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The experience was great for the most part but a bit of a wait going back through passport control one thing was desperately lacking was not having air con as it was 35 degrees on return train journey very hard to get a breath

Poor organisation to get travellers ready for boarding.
Just a free-for-all ending in grid lock!

Easy access from Motorway. Limited waiting time and terminal pleasant to visit.

Outbound - got moved to earlier train, but then that was delayed to our original time.
Inbound, delayed to the next time slot. No big deal. That’s what you expect when travelling, and it’s better than being herded like sheep at an airport.

Quick and efficient service as always

Delays and unnecessary stress due to incorrect communication. Just need to tell passengers the truth and not herd everyone together in hot weather. Let people use terminal facilities before telling them that boarding is imminent when it isn’t.

2hour wait, very poor information and sign boards givin wrong or false information on loading and departure times.

Quick and efficient journey and boarding process.

Check-in was quick and efficient, parking at the terminal was easy. Due to delays with the trains the terminal was busy and noisy. There were tables that needed cleared and wiped clean. There were too many dogs around the restaurant areas. We were told to proceed to border controls but again due to train delays the car park was chaotic and we queued for 45 mins just to get to passport control. Then we sat at the departure lanes for an hour and twenty minutes in 32 degrees of heat and sun, the information board stated that boarding was imminent for an hour or more, no one came to offer bottled water or to offer progress information, we just sat and had to put up with poor performance from LeShuttle.

On our return journey, it took two hours to get through border control. Four booths were open on the French side but only two on the British. Four queues merging into two, with nobody to direct traffic.
When we eventually arrived st the boarding area, we were kept waiting for nearly an hour. To make matters worse, when a train arrived at last, passengers who had just joined the queue were allowed through first, rather than those who had already been delayed for three hours.
Nobody was available to explain why there was such a delay. There were no announcements and everyone was left very frustrated, especially as it was exceptionally hot weather.

Great experience, bit confusing entry (especially pet reception)that takes you completely out of terminal if you do slightly wrong turn,other than that great and expensive service, which I have to use and will use again next year.

We were ushered forward by staff to the last holding lane from the relative convenience of the main waiting area which by then, after more than an hour's wait locked in a lane (not a parking space) was not overly busy and where we had access to services. I had explained at check-in that my wife was very sick and uncomfortable in the heat. We now had to wait for a further two hours. Our E5 did not display on the departure boards but most other dep groups did so we were unaware of progress. Very poor performance by Le Shuttle

Easy to book and easy to get to. Quite efficient through border control and several departures per hour to ensure you are not waiting too long. A short journey time. Plenty of options once in France to go East, West or South.
