Absolutely appalling experience. The prices are already outrageous, with around £250 for a one-way journey that only takes 35 minutes. To make matters worse, I missed my booked train because of heavy traffic and long queues getting into the terminal. Despite this being beyond my control, I was charged an extra £300 to get on the next available train.

A return journey can easily cost £400 or more, and then you’re expected to pay hundreds extra if you’re delayed by traffic. It feels completely unfair and like a way of making even more money from customers. There should be more flexibility when delays are caused by circumstances outside people’s control.

I won’t be using LeShuttle again unless I have no other choice.

Trains were running late but when we got to the train there were staff handing out misting sprays and fans, which was helpful

Perfect journey, quick check-in out and return, able to get on an earlier crossing than booked. The only downside was the long queue due to customs delays, although this was handled well by Le Shuttle staff.

Streamlined and very helpful and polite staff I highly recommend this service for pet owners.

What happened to Le Shuttle ? They literally stole £204 from me. Due to traffic I arrived 25 mins late . I entered my number on the terminal. Both tickets cancelled due to later check in. Not a single way ,they cancelled both tickets! £102 each way. I'm on a motorbike btw,no space taken and always can fit on a next train but they didn't want to do that. They force me to pay £117 per way and £104 the next day ... Basically a trip that should cost between £70-£150 coated me over £400! How insane this is ? Again ..I'm on a motorbike... Took the next train after paid the Ransome and guess what... The last 4 cars empty and only 5 bikes inside... After years of using the service I think I'll pass now. I'll take the ferry. More time but they don't pull things like this. The customer service couldn't care less.

We cannot rate this service highly enough. Well oragnised, fluid service that asks no questions if you are running late or they are running late - you just join the next train with no questions asked. It's 30 minutes to France, car full of luggage rather than luggage restirctions and outrageous costs, and you have your car with you so no car hire costs either. We can't imagine a better way to get to Northern Europe from the UK.

Had massive delays, which is not the reason for the low score, but i have contacted customer services about this and have still not received a response in over a week

Great way to travel. Easy booking system and stress free travel. Just rock up be guided by the staff and in no time you're in France.

Return journey first class through sign in barrier then 3rd class having to force our way into long queue of frustrated drivers, not acceptable having paid a premium

Knackered terminal and trains and late with no explanations. This service has taken a dive so bad. Avoid. Take the ferry.

Easy booking process, very easy and quick way to cross the channel. Only travel at quiet times and have not had an issue on several trips. Now take a dog with me and this is also an easy process.

Great trip over and back to France using le Shuttle - no delays good value quick and efficient

We had a delay of over three hours on our outward journey and at one point left with no info , no access to drinks, food, toilets or exercise area for the dogs for over an hour on a bridge above the loading platform, we barely made it to our campsite in Belgium before their cut off time which would have left us in a very awkward posts we had a large caravan we were towing and despite reporting this to customer services on the night 4th June have still not recieved a reply and now more the 28 days have elapsed since making our complaint

Taking an 87 year old lady on her first trip on the shuttle as a birthday gift.
The wait and the delay there and back was terrible, we arrived at the appointed times on both sides, but still found ourselves in long queues. Not a very good experience.

So much better & simpler than flying. Easy check-in, seamless process & in France before you know it. Highly recommend.
