Motorcyclists have nowhere to sit other than perch on their bike. Some drop down seats along the side in the last carriage would be appreciated. I

Travelling with a young child, especially one with additional needs, can be stressful, but LeShuttle made the whole journey so much easier. Check-in was quick and efficient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and boarding was smooth and well organised.

The crossing was fast, comfortable, and a great start to our holiday in France. We really appreciated being able to stay in our own car, which helped keep our son calm and relaxed. Everything ran on time, and the entire experience felt simple and hassle-free.

We wouldn’t hesitate to use LeShuttle again and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to France, particularly families. A fantastic service from start to finish!

The organisation from loading to unloading is very efficient. I like the ease of check in and the option to go a little earlier or later which gives a modicum of flexibility which is helpful if you have travelled a long way. The staff are helpful and there are plenty of people around should you need them. The booking app works well and the updates via the app work.

Overall the experience was very good with an earlier time offered both outward and inward. Had they gone ahead at the revised times it would have been a 5 star, as it was both trips were delayed and in fact the inward trip was almost at the original time

We'd not used Le Shuttle for a long time as it's so much more expensive than the ferries but as we were taking the dog on this trip we thought it would be less stressful. So wrong. Inefficient service and technical issues caused us to be waiting 3 to 4 hours both outbound and homebound. Despite being very early we didn't depart on time or even get on our allocated train. I doubt we'll be back.

Service that’s more switched on than the rest in the UK, trains that work well also a service you can trust-staff are wonderful both sides of the pond

Easy to book, very efficient and polite staff, all round good experience. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Easy to find pet reception and book in - given our health and vehicle breakdown insurance booklet with key phone numbers.
Friendly helpful staff in all areas.

The travel arrangements and journey itself were excellent.
However I wouldn't recommend the travel insurance for travel outside of France, had an issue in Italy and had to resolve the problem with the car ourselves.

Easy and fast

I use the tunnel all the time and am always impressed with how efficient everything runs from booking online and the journey itself. Even if there is a delay, which I have found is not often when I travel, it is dealt with efficiently. On my last trip I was hoping the biometric system was up and running but it is not quite there yet on both sides (June 2026). Smooth crossing in only 35 minutes which is a bonus compared to using the ferry. On the french side it is always slower. They appear to only open a few kiosks and passport control areas until there is such a backlog. Then (and only then) open more - why?

Used to be good but recently, ridiculously overpriced and frequently delayed. Use the ferry, it is significantly cheaper and you will get there at the same time or sooner without having to wait for a freight train to move through the tunnel or other 'unforseen" delay. Awful communication by staff, one can easily wait for over an hour once boarding the train without moving and with no information about what the issue is. All at the price tag of over £220 per crossing one way.

Very poor communication from Le Shuttle staff about two hour delay. No email in advance and no mention of such a delay when booking in. If we had arrived two hours late to book in or chose a crossing two hours later than our booked time then we would have incurred a charge. No compensation offered for two hour delay which resulted in us being late for an evening event.

Amazing service and the staff was incredible.

Outbound trip great ,return trip arrived early but had to pay again to get on earlier train even though on a motorcycle which I’m sure could have been put on a earlier train for nothing it’s not all about money where’s customer service gone I shouldn’t have been charged again just for being ahead of schedule.

Delayed an hour. Went to board the train and got turned back. Now waiting for the next train ... But not to worry I'm told I'm at the front of the queue ... to get on the train that's nearly two hours after my scheduled departure. Absolute shambles.

It is NOT quick it is NOT 35mins total disappointment

Yet again there were delays due to technical problems. Otherwise OK.
