Leonardo Hotel Arvostelua 

Leonardo Cardiff city centre. Staff are wonderful and location of hotel is very central for shopping. Rooms are dated and sadly the room we stayed in, had no hot water. We did report this but as we were only there one night, we did not pursue. This has put us off staying there again.

Birmingham hotel
Potentially great location, but don’t be fooled by the modern decor, this is not a great place to stay!
Breakfast staff really friendly - it’s one saving grace!
No greeting on arrival or return to the hotel - customer service is massively lacking!
Decor in the hotel is nice/modern - looks impressive but…
Don’t get a room near the lifts or you’ll hear them all night long!
Online booking is a joke - selected one option, asked me to sign up to the rewards program, then changed me more!
Car park is terrible, bad lighting, expensive and no reduction for staying there.

Always lovely to visit here in Brighton.
Prices slightly high but brilliant service.
Free fruit and shortbread. Water lovely as well.
Peaceful place on seafront.
Staff lovely.

1 Having foolishly mistakenly booked this Leonardo Southampton rather than the Leonardo Royal down the road, the manager refused to cancel the booking so my parents could stay in the Royal Leonardo with his Grandson and great-Grand-daughter (why? - the Leonardo group would still have received at least the same amount of money)
2 the taxi-driver handed reception the footrests for my fathers wheelchair on Friday evening - they were still there, unlabelled on Saturday morning, and my father had not been informed his missing footrests were available
3 We tried phoning my 101 year-old father via reception 7 or 8 times on Saturday morning; at no point was the phone answered by reception; we even tried it again when we were standing at reception on Saturday and they still ignored it
4 when we asked about the wheelchair footrests, which we spotted just lying around unlabelled behind the counter, and asked why they didn't answer the phone, they said they were too busy
5 the only helpful employee was Lewis on the Friday over the phone, who did try to help get the booking changed, and helped my aged parents

Advertised as onsite parking yet when you get there you get stung for £25 to park! Would have got train had the fee been shown prior to coming. Told staff very unhappy & then Had to skimp on dinner due to low funds :( Only 1 towel between us for a shower.
Comfortable bed, breakfast not great.

Einfache und und unkomplizierte Absprachen, ein sehr schön dekorierter Raum, ein leckeres Buffet und wunderbarer Service zu unserer 125 Jahres Feier im '70er Jahre Stil. Unserer Gäste waren sehr zu frieden. Einfach perfekt. Immer wieder gern dort.

Greeted by claire who was amazing so welcoming happy cheery girl.

Also spoke to claire previous stay.

Should be privileged having claire work for the company she brings spirits up makes you feel comfortable and nothing was a bother.

Arrived on Wednesday 7th August at the main door at around 9:30pm, the fire brigade were there as one of the lifts was broken, due to people twerking and it got stuck. Great start after a long drive. Waited around for an eternity at the main desk to check-in. Very poor welcome. Full of drunken people from the football. Finally got upstairs to our room, and the TV was broken.Tried to fix it, ended up getting charged for it. Don't recommend.

Clueless and deceitful reception staff. Stayed in a family room for 3 nights. The room was dated and in need of renovation. The A/C switched itself off in the middle of the night, so we woke up sweaty. Main gripe is the deception regarding using the minibar fridge. In room information it clearly states they would empty the fridge at your request, so you can use it (stated in room guide). Utter rubbish. Someone did come to empty it, but it remained locked. After speaking to numerous reception staff, we eventually found one who admitted we weren't allowed to use the fridge. We wasted lots of time trying on a simple but futile request. We expected more from a Leonardo hotel. Won’t be using again.

What a fabulous hotel, modern, lovely room, delicious breakfast, welcoming staff.
All the staff we spoke to were all an absolute credit to the hotel, all so friendly and helpful.
A very enjoyable stay, right in the heart of the city and couldn't have been closer to the New Theatre where we watched a show.
Will definitely return in the future.

My wife and I stayed in the Leonardo hotel in Gertrudi street Krakow
It was absolutely amazing from start to finish the hotel staff were amazing the food was fantastic the rooms were amazing and very clean thank you to Lukasz,Emily,Yana, Conrad and everyone else in the hotel who couldn’t do enough for us they were all brilliant

This hotel looks run down on exterior, you enter the reception area and looks modern and really nice. Was given room 304, this room was full of stains on carpet, thick dust on all hard surfaces so asked to be moved. Was given keys to 2 other standard rooms and they were both dirty, dated and really smelly. Eventually I requested that I see a executive room, which Stuart was happy for me to view
On entry room 301 massive stains on carpet by bathroom, thick dust and dirt on the tray that holds mugs for tea etc and the cleaner had used last guests disposable cup coaster,it had tea stains. I raised my concerns to Stuart who said he would pass on complaints to manager. On later inspection of room there was thick black female hair in bath plughole which I had to remove. I stay at leonardo hotels regularly and I have to say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel either needs a complete gutting and refurbishment of bedrooms like they have on ground floor or demolition of whole building. For 1 night stay it cost almost £180 if I was not away for work and with a colleague I would have requested full refund and booked into a different hotel. Please be aware that the cleaning staff do not clean rooms adequately and needs training on cleanliness and hygiene. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be returning. Management please get a hold on the cleanliness of the bedrooms of this hotel it is disgusting and not to leonardo standards.

Shout out to Lewis on reception at Leonardo hotel Southampton! busy check in but was sooo helpful, friendly calm and chatty! Employee of the year material! Room is fab and spotless (we checked in early)

Leonardo hotel Esslingen Stuttgart
Efter 12 timers køretur fik vi besked på, at hotellet var overbooket og de beklagede de ikke havde givet besked. Mor, Far og datter havde bestilt et værelse med 3 senge og fik besked på at tage til et andet hotel. Her fik vi 3 enkeltværelser og ikke på samme etage.
Vi kørte retur til Leonardo, da det måtte være en fejl, men nej vi skulle da være glade for at få enkeltværelser, men det var vi ikke. Der var ikke noget at gøre og pengene var naturligvis trukket og dem kunne vi ikke få tilbage.
Intet godt at sige om servicen på dette hotel.
Der var i øvrigt en familie mere der fik samme besked.
Så pas på når i bestiller på dette hotel. De tager betalingen og sender jer til et hotel med dårligere standard.
Jeg endte med en madras på gulvet ved siden af min hustru, så blev det alligevel et dobbeltværelse i et par dage.

Brilliant stay with my elderly mother (wheelchair user). The staff in all areas from start to finish were smiling, helpful and engaging. Rooms extremely clean, linen and pillows really clean and puffy !

We hadden van tevoren een 2 persoonskamer gereserveerd in Het Leonardo Hotel Lelystad van 1 juni 2024 op 2 juni 2024. Op zaterdag 1 juni op tijd vertrokken vanuit Den Helder richting Batavia Stad. We werden rond 1330 uur dus 1,5 uur voor inchecken gebeld dat onze kamer was vergeven en dat ze voor dezelfde prijs een 1 persoonskamer konden aanbieden voor dezelfde prijs met een bed van 120 cm. Dit hebben we niet geaccepteerd en zijn maar weer naar huis gereden. Dit heeft ons een dag gekost, een tank benzine en een grote teleurstelling. Het hotel reageert hierop alsof het een normale gang van zaken is. Ik heb aangegeven dat wanneer wij zouden annuleren op het laatste moment dat we dan gewoon de kosten zouden moeten gaan betalen en nu wanneer zij in principe annuleren door een bed aan te bieden waar we niet in kunnen slapen, het ons tijd, geld en een rotervaring kost. Nooit meer een Leonardo hotel. En ik raad het iedereen af.

Complaint - Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
I stayed in the above hotel in two sessions and booked two rooms. The first session was from 15-16 April 2024. The second session was from 18-20/4/2024. When I checked in on 15/4/2024, I told the receptionist that I have stayed in the same hotel location before in 2022. The hotel’s name was Jury’s Inn. I told her the construction site at the back gave horrible noise which caused me unrest at that time. She told me the construction was still in progress but would not noisy as before. She promised me she would reserve my rooms facing the front part when I returned in the second session. When I returned on 18/4/2024, another lady receptionist told me that she was unable to give me rooms in the front part. When I told her that was your hotel’s promise, then the awful lady - Kajoi, the Duty Manager cut in at that time. She coldly told me she could not entertain any demands from customers. When I rebutted that it was not my request, it was the promise from your receptionist who represented your hotel!! If your hotel cannot fulfil any promises, why give false hopes to customers? That Kajol then gave a handicapped room to me facing the front side but without my knowledge. When I found the room was for handicapped persons, I was very angry. I’m not a handicapped person, why your hotel gave me such a room? How can you bear such an insult and humiliation !! I went back to the Reception and asked them to change back any standard rooms. That Kajoi just stood there without saying any apology words but with a cold facial expression. What sort of this poor attitude!! She is neither helpful nor hospitality. I swear I will never live in any Leonardo Hotel again. I will also ask my friends to do the same!!

We stayed in, Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa by the Sea - Adults Only, Protaras, Cyprus.
And cannot fault it, staff were some of the nicest people we have met, going above and beyond to make sure we could be comfortable and have everything we wanted. Short transfer from airport, on time, the whole trip was very relaxed.
Short walk from a small private beach and in the other direction some caves and a rocky area that you could swim in. Food was lovely and lots of choice, rooms were very clean and airy/ bright. Hotel is relativity new.

Leonardo hotel Galway,
Absolutely terrible experience, the staff are unhelpful the receptionist very rude! We tried to amend for the dates on the 2nd-4th of feb this year until April, they pretended on the customer service line that those dates didn’t exist when we have bank statements with the payment took from the Leonardo hotel, they state booking.com took the payment but booking.com says Leonardo took the payment, so we can’t even get refunded and being lied to by both of them, which is terrible as unable to attend due to a funeral. They also have been very rude in the emails and the calls between the main reception of that hotel, they offered a fake discount but it actually costs 300 euro more than what we originally paid for 400 euro so they tried to overcharge us up to 700 for two nights in April! Please do not go there as u won’t get any decent amended prices or dates they owe us some kind of compensation as we are going through a devastating time, they are heartless and just a terrible place tbh
