Leaders - Leatherhead Arvostelua

Leaders helped me find a place so quickly and the whole process was smooth, becca and Steph really helped and had amazing customer service

Having rented for over 10 years, this has been by far the most frustrating end-of-tenancy experience we’ve encountered.

Our biggest concern has been the No Deposit Option. It was never properly explained to us, and we genuinely believed it was simply the alternative to paying a traditional refundable deposit. We were also led to believe that insurance was required in order to secure the tenancy, and at no point do we recall being given a genuine choice between paying a refundable deposit or signing up to the monthly No Deposit Option.

It was only at the end of the tenancy that we discovered the monthly payments could not be used towards any end-of-tenancy charges, leaving us questioning what practical benefit the product actually provided.

Equally disappointing has been the way our concerns have been handled. Rather than taking the time to understand why we felt misled, our questions have largely been met with generic responses, and we have had to repeatedly chase for clear answers.

While some members of staff have been polite throughout the process, overall we have been left feeling unheard and let down. Based on our experience, we would not rent through Leaders again and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent.

Our experience with Leaders has been incredibly disappointing.

Leaving a tenancy hasn’t been more frustrating in the 10+ years i’ve been renting. I personally would avoid the NDO at all costs as it was never properly explained and was mis-sold to us along side the pressure selling of insurance. The biggest issue hasn’t just been the dispute itself, but the way it has been handled. We have tried to be reasonable and reach a compromise, yet every interaction has felt uncooperative and dismissive. Rather than working with us to find a fair outcome, it has seemed as though our concerns have been brushed aside.

Customer service should be about listening and resolving issues, but unfortunately that has not been our experience.

Based on how we’ve been treated, I would not recommend Leaders to anyone looking for a letting agent.

We have been with Leaders for several years. Over this time we have had more than 14 property managers, many with no local knowledge or very little experience of property management.
Over the years they have consistently made small errors/typos, but recently they have made two major mistakes.
One - they sent us someone else's tax return information.
Two - last year's rent increase was not implemented as they had not administered the process correctly.
We wished to terminate the contract but apparently are tied with them until the current tenant leaves.
PS: The below response from Leaders just illustrates our point - they talk the talk, but we never see any discernible improvement.

Amazing people with great work ethic! Really made our move so so easy and really eased our nerves by always being at the other end of the phone when we needed them! Thank you so much for our welcome box and making our move so smooth! Rebecca and Stephanie are absolute diamonds and would recommend using leaders 10 times out of 10! Thank you so much

She’s always pleasant, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of renting property. Our ‘go to’ agent for help especially with the confusion caused by the recent Rental Reform. Thank you Becky

I would like to compliment the Leaders Rental team of the Leatherhead branch on their first class service.

Of particular mention, Rebecca Cattell, who went to extra lengths to assist us in finding the perfect tenancy to suit us, and in guiding us through every process.

Becca, thank you. We would recommend your services to anyone looking for property in the future.

I have been using Leaders letting agents in Leatherhead for many years now. My ‘go to’ person is Rebecca (Becky) Cattell, she is very professional and at the same time very down to earth, very helpful, reliable and efficient. Staff members change, but she is the one constant and without her vast knowledge and input I would be lost. She keeps me up to date via email and telephone on a regular basis, answering any questions I have very quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend Becky at the Leatherhead Leaders office, she is 100% my go to person.

Leaders Leatherhead have been so helpful throughout my letting journey, Rebeccca has been so helpful, a breath of fresh air aswell as Vicky.. Would highly recommend...
thanks Team Leatherhead

there is a lady called rebecca at leaders leatherhead ,she is the one you want to deal with, she is very good ,knows the market and local area , rebecca and vicky always sort my problems out and i can trust her to find me the perfect tenant, if it was not for her i would of moved my portfolio of properties to another letting agency.rebecca is fantastic and i would not use anyone else

Thank you Larissa Hall and your team in Leatherhead for your professional support with helping my recent move go as quickly and smoothly as possible.
I can’t thank you enough.

Karen

I can’t praise Larissa and Becky highly enough for their professionalism, efficiency and reassurance.
Thank you Leaders

Amazing experience with the Leatherhead team. Special thanks to Rebecca who was amazing with the whole process and I can’t wait to move

I telephoned Leaders Leatherhead today and spoke to Rebecca as I needed some old correspondence from them, my experience with Rebecca was professional and ultra efficient and she sent the information immediately she was faultless in her attitude and professional I cannot fault her in any way and have no quarms about recommending her as she is excellent

This is now the third time I have used Leaders in Leatherhead to market my property let. They are very helpful and professional and they know the market. The staff are very helpful but a special thank you to Rebecca who is exceptionally knowledgeable and who has over looked the whole process for me. What makes me fill confident is that she always knows where we are in the process and she is in regularly in contact with me to keep me up dated.
I will certainly be continuing to recommend them to family and friends.

Thanks
