Leaders - Colchester Arvostelua

All the Lettings team at the Colchester branch are very helpful, always courteous and polite. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I particularly want to single out Julie Preston, Robert Perry and the Chloes, I know there are two in Lettings - thank you to you all. They keep me in the loop throughout the process of finding tenants and throughout the tenancy, if the tenants have any issues such as locking themselves out of the property. If there are any maintenance issues, I am informed by phone if urgent or by email and they are always dealt with promptly. It matters to me that the tenants are comfortable at all times. I do not hesitate in recommending them.

I gave Leaders my flat to put on the rental market. Chloe at the Colchester branch was tasked with letting out the property. She found a tenant quite quickly and communicated when she was showing the flat.

Pleased to recommend Robert Perry for his professionalism and help with my flat. Any issues are managed swiftly and he is always willing to listen and assist. Really supportive

Extremely disappointed with the service at Leaders - Colchester branch. Would not recommend them to anyone.
I was never given keys to the front door of the building when they informed my multiple times they would give it to me. It's been three months since I moved into the flat and I still have no keys to the front door of the building. Now they are telling me that they don't have keys to the front door and I need to ask my neighbours for their keys so that I could make a copy. They want me to ask keys from neighbours who I have never met. Would you be giving your keys to a neighbour you've never met??
On top of all of this, their communication is awful. They do not even have the decency to reply to emails. I had to go into the office itself to get an update on the keys because they would not reply to my emails.
Would not recommend leaders at all. I myself would not even think about using leaders again.

Leaders are an absolute disgrace and thieves. Tuesday 27/08 was my last day, I was sent a check out report on 28/08 which clearly showed a black plastic bag left at the property. I contacted Leaders on 29/08 by phone (as seen in the screenshot) and was told by Rob the ‘property manager’ the cleaners had not been in yet and they would give me a call. I specifically stressed I wanted the bag back as it had items of my girlfriend that were valuable and had been gifts during our relationship and are of significant meaning. I was ignored by email but on the phone They said that they will get the cleaner to contact me about it and that the cleaner would be going in on Friday. Nobody contacted me that day so I called the office again- I was told Rob would call me back (he didn’t.) Yesterday Monday 02/09 I called the office again and Rob said the cleaner hadn’t gone in yet and would be going later that day. (Again nobody called). Today (Tuesday 03/09) I called the office and asked for the cleaners number. The cleaner then told me that they couldn’t find it and that 9 different people had been in over the last few days (this isn’t what the property manager told me). I called Rob straight after and he simply said ‘they must have disposed of it. It should have been taken. There’s nothing we can do.’ Here’s something leaders can do 1) don’t tell people wrong information 2) don’t disregard requests from people who have been tenants from them and let them know immediately that the bag was of significance and they could come to collect it. 3) show some respect instead of trying to fob me off all week and then act like it was out of their control the entire time. I will be taking this shambles of a company to small claims court.

I've let my property through Leaders for many years now and must say if ever there is a problem Rob Perry has always been excellent at dealing with it quickly and professionally.

Many thanks Rob

Excellent service from Rob as ever. Very professional and informative. Always acts in not only my interests as a landlord but that of the tenant too. Highly recommend.

Current Tennant for leaders, I had a maintenance issue, the man who usually deals with my property was on holiday so I spoke with Robert Perry, very quick response and easy to deal with. Issue resolved promptly.
Thank you

Julie Preston is so helpful. We've been in this house since 2000, but we're now moving into a caravan. Julie is so helpful and always negotiates with the landlord to keep the costs low. Leaders have always been good to us. We are looking to buy a house so I would go back to Leaders, and they have always been supportive to us.

I have been renting a flat through leaders for 3 years now and their service has been amazing. Any issues are dealt with promptly and they are incredibly helpful. Robert Parry in particular has provided excellent service and been incredibly helpful so thank you!

I have been dealing with Leaders for a number of years now and I am very satisfied with their help and advice. Special thanks must go to Robert Perry at the Colchester office who looks after all aspects of the property that Leaders manages for me. His calm and friendly attitude and expert and official advice he gives me is top class.

Leaders are very responsive and Robert Perry is particularly effective in pre-emptively following up on any issues and anticipating the landlord's needs & expectations.

My experience of Leaders has been great. They are always quick to help if issues arise, friendly and reliable. Many thanks to Robert Perry and Julie Preston who have been particularly helpful throughout our 8 years renting our property.
