We are a 15 person firm in Canada. We decided to sign up for Karbon because the marketing/positioning seems to be that Karbon is what the "big firms" are using.

We found it to be of little benefit when it came to actually improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our firm. We used very few of the features.

To see benefit you need to make Karbon the primary way you email clients and communicate within your team. Our staff prefer to use their regular email for communication and scheduling, and we use Slack for internal communications.

The client portal feature was recently re-launched and it's not intuitive, promotes Karbon to clients, and the connection to Google drive is inconsistent.

I really don't understand what all the hype is about. I can only assume that firms that use it have transitioned all of their workflows around it, for little benefit, but now are susceptible to continuous price increases.

There are many options out there where the PM software continues to evolve and roll out new features. I think Karbon is likely the laziest of the options from the development side, and is more focused on sales than customer support and retention.

Do your research before signing up. I highly doubt that Karbon will be your best option. I wish we had properly researched and tested other options before making a decision

The planning and reminders features makes it easy to track my work. Easy access of old data ...literally all in in one

I receive great assistance and support from the Karbon's team and we created allot of structure in the firm by utilising Karbon's functions.

Karbon is honestly one of the best all-in-one programmes I have ever used.
Working in the financial sector with teams and deadlines, this programme keeps everything in one place—organised and efficient.

Karbon is great. Especially, the notes/comments feature really helps with internal communication among staff members when dealing with the same client. The Tasks really help keep everyone in the loop on the progress of a particular job if its set up really well.

Meeting with Ryan was informative. Explanations of how my company is doing, where we can improve, etc, was very helpful. Looking forward to the new additions to the Karbon platform.

Support is terrible, I’ve had to lodge a credit card charge back, no support, no follow up and get fobbed off, had to fight to cancel and refuse to refund and the product never worked and no support. Stay well away and go with another product, there support is terrible, regret signing up, they are horrid.

We are 3 months into an implantation of Karbon and found, so many limitations and the support is very slow to reply, 3 to 4 business days or longer. Just simple stuff like waiting overnight for invoices to generate to be able to send to clients, invoices are not searchable and are not in any form of order, they just show up random, not in date, or invoice number. honestly we have a excel list going of all the issues we have found 30+ of them on the reply is often "we are aware of the issue and the development team are work on it" but with no time frame to fix it. If i had my time over I would not be using this system.

Great experience using the software and support is very responsive too. By far the best practice management system I have used to date, just don't follow in the competitors footsteps and sell to a larger corporation and be destroyed! Stay as you are!

Karbon, although restrictive in some areas, continues to innovate and provide value to their customers.

Karbon is my preferred practice management software. It does everything I need it to, like automating client reminders, document collection, planning as well as a billing system. I also like that Karbon is always improving and adding upgraded features.

Karon is extremely useful in planning your day, it helps with streamlining processes.

We moved to Karbon just over 2 years ago and it has made our workflow so much more efficient. Jobs are done earlier than ever due to be able to keep track of everything.

Everyone knows when things are due and what is expected to move to the next step in that job. You can see who is working on what job and at what stage it is - as part of the admin team, that is very important when a client calls asking for an update on their Accounts or Tax Return.

Karbon truly was the best move we could have made.
