Rosie, thank you so much for your lovely 5-star review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’re absolutely delighted to hear you’re happy with your beautiful, healthy new trees and that everything went smoothly from your first telephone conversation right through to delivery.
We know buying trees online is a big decision, especially when you can’t see them in person beforehand, so we always try to make the whole experience as reassuring and transparent as possible. From offering friendly advice over the phone to sharing inspection photos before dispatch and keeping you updated on delivery, it’s wonderful to hear these little touches made a difference.
We’ll be sure to pass your lovely feedback on to our nursery, Customer Care and delivery teams. They all work incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure every tree arrives looking its very best!
As a small, independent, family-run British business, reviews like yours genuinely mean the world to us. Thank you for putting your trust in Just Pleachy, and we wish you many happy years enjoying your beautiful new trees as they grow and flourish. 🌿🥰
Awful Customer Service
I called their customer service line today, 7 October, to enquire about purchasing a number of Portuguese Laurel trees and your planting service. I subsequently received a call back from a member of your team at 4:53pm.
Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by the manner in which my enquiry was handled. The member of staff I spoke with was remarkably rude, abrupt and impatient throughout the conversation. Her tone and attitude were completely at odds with the level of professionalism and customer service I would expect when contacting a business with the intention of making a potentially significant purchase.
Rather than being helpful or interested in understanding my requirements, I was left with the distinct impression that my enquiry was an inconvenience. Needless to say, the experience has seriously discouraged me from placing an order with your company.
I would strongly suggest that the company review this interaction and consider whether the standards demonstrated are consistent with the level of customer service you expect from staff dealing directly with prospective customers. Businesses invest considerable effort in attracting new customers, and it is extremely counterproductive for those customers then to be put off by unnecessarily rude and dismissive behaviour at the first point of contact.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want everyone who contacts us to feel welcome and listened to, and we’re sorry that your conversation left you feeling disappointed.
Our colleague returned your missed call within approximately 15 minutes and talked through our planting charges, preparation requirements and pre-dispatch photographs.
Having listened carefully to the conversation, we felt our colleague was trying to give clear, helpful answers. We also recognise that the way those answers come across matters, and we’re sorry the exchange didn’t feel as welcoming as you’d hoped.
We’ve taken your comments on board and will use them to help us make every enquiry a positive experience. 🌿
Nine Pleached Beech Trees
Nine pleached beech trees arrived ahead of schedule. All good, except that one of the trees was a Purple Beech instead of a Copper Beech.

Thank you so much, Mike, for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re really pleased your nine pleached beech trees arrived ahead of schedule and that you were happy with everything overall. 🌳
We’d love the opportunity to turn those 4 stars into 5 though! ⭐️ Just to reassure you, the names Purple Beech and Copper Beech are sometimes used interchangeably for Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea'. These beautiful trees display natural variations in foliage colour throughout the seasons, which may explain why one appears different from the others. Hiwever, as we mentioned when we reached out to you, we’d love to get to the bottom of this. If you could send us a photograph of the tree in question and confirm the details on its plant passport label, we’d be more than happy to investigate further and put things right if needed.
As a small, independent, family-run British business, every review genuinely means a lot to us. Thank you again for choosing Just Pleachy, and we hope you enjoy your beautiful new trees for many years to come. 🌿

I like the JustPleachy website as it is clear and simple
I like the JustPleachy website as it had excellent examples of the different pleached trees. The ordering process was clear and informative. There was a slight delay in the delivery which meant the trees were planted a bit later than planned. Delivery was excellent and the timely aftercare emails were great. One of my pleached beech trees is not thriving as well as the others.
A good service.

They went over and above the call of duty.
We had a very tight deadline to get the trees delivered to site and she managed to turn it around for us AND get them there first thing in the morning.
Trees were beautiful as always.

Tried to order some trees from a different company, but they didn’t arrive. Managed to cancel my order and instead order with Pleachy. Very impressed - the email communication was good, the pre-delivery advice was good, the trees arrived quickly and I am very happy with them.

DO NOT USE THEM
The owner of this disgusting Company has replied again with her vicious lies. Of course she has my direct email but continues to harass me online.
The irrigation system which they installed one year ago was never used because it was defective. So I should not have used their gift voucher to cover the cost this should have been replaced free of charge and not with the gift voucher.
In order to spend the £100 gift voucher it was a problem as after calling several times they not only never answer their phone or emails which I can prove.
After spending over £6000 which I regret she Rachael the owner has never taken the time to apologise personally to me as several of the trees are almost dead.
You cannot hide with the internet. I am replying to her so people can decide whether to spend their money with this Company.

I left a fair and honest review…
I left a fair and honest review September 2025. I am not an experienced gardener but I was right in my review last year.
The nine trees that I purchased were professionally planted by Just Pleachy I was very disappointed as they were told that the trees were not equal.
However, they did not accept this and not all the trees are growing and look quite bare with hardly any leaves.
6 of the trees are looking very nice with lots of leaves. I have watered them all the same amount but 3 of the trees will never catch up with the others and they need replacing. Hopefully we can come to a good conclusion as all I want is the Company to communicate with me
I have contacted the Company by email several times this week. They are avoiding me. I also called at least 4 times asking for a return call.
Today I emailed the owner Rachael but she has not acknowledged receipt of my email.
Considering I paid £6000 + I am not happy with this response.

Hi Maggie, we're genuinely sorry to read this and to hear that you remain disappointed.
We would like to clarify that we have not ignored you or your recent communications. Our team has always responded to your emails, calls, reviews, and voicemails, and your concerns have previously been reviewed in detail through our formal complaints process. Following that investigation, a final resolution letter was issued, and a goodwill gesture was offered.
Regarding the trees themselves, all nine were inspected before dispatch and planting, and no concerns were raised at the time of delivery. As living plants, trees can establish at different rates, even when planted side by side and cared for in the same way. It is not unheard of for some to grow more vigorously than others, particularly during their first few growing seasons after planting.
We appreciate that six of the trees are performing well and understand your concern about the remaining three. While we do not offer an aftercare service or telephone plant health consultations, our Resources Team remains available by email to direct customers to relevant general guidance and information.
We wish you all the very best for the future.
