I was booked in to see a vehicle on Saturday, but later received a phone call to say that I need to pay a deposit over the phone to reserve the vehicle. Why? Why do I need to pay a deposit? Does not make sense. Money robbing thieves.

Just awful. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of their sales staff come through a day release work program. I’ve experienced better customer service at a McDonald’s restaurant. If this was the calibre of ppl in charge of making Toyota cars it wouldn’t be the number one car manufacturer in the world, that’s for certain.

My car was booked to have its anti-theft plates fitted, due to a lapse they had forgot to inform me that the part had not come into stock, they compensated by having my car washed and valeted. I was served by Kim, who did an excellent job!

Jemca Toyota Sidcup!
My headlights kept blowing and jemca investigated this when the car was in for service. They told me nothing is wrong and bulbs go (not this frequently). I think it’s because I’m a woman they said this. They also charged me £50 to replace 2 bulbs, disgusting.

I went to Halfords after changing another 10 bulbs and the lovely man at Halfords found a lose wire near the connection in 3 minutes. All sorted so easily.

I called Jemca Toyota at Sidcup and told the service manager about this, he was so uncaring. I asked for a refund and nothing as yet 2 weeks late.

BUYER BEWARE OF JEMCA TOYOTA SIDCUP!!

On the morning of Saturday 23rd March 2024 I visited my Toyota dealer Jemca in Bracknell to order a part for our Toyota Corolla. Gulnawaz Ashraf from their Parts Dept was extremely helpful and friendly and said the part should be in by Tuesday 26th March. Soon after 9am on the 26th I received a call from Gulnawaz to say the part was in, so I arranged to go and collect said part around mid-morning. On arrival, Gulnawaz promptly fitted the replacement part for me.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish, and I would just like to say a personal "Thank you" to Gulnawaz for all his help in the matter.

Was looking to purchase a hybrid corolla from Jemca in Reading, for some reason - I opted to look at the Google reviews for this dealership before proceeding, was deeply disappointed to note some of the customers' experiences, I decided to look at the Bracknell dealership instead - I was definitely out of the frying pan into the fire as the Google reviews for Bracknell were at another level of unfit for purpose examples. I will look at another brand instead of Toyota (or move house if I proceed with the purchase of Toyota so I am no longer in the Jemca catchment area). If this was my business, I would have sacked all management team members in both sites.

I recently purchased a car from Jemca in Edgware Road, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Roya was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in. Roya took the time to understand my needs and preferences and helped me choose the right finance option that suits my budget.

I serviced my car in Jemca Toyota Sidcup on 26th Jan. After service the car had a slow acceleration issue for which when I talked to the team I was told of £150 charge to investigate the issue (if it turns out not under warranty). And on top of that, I was given a date after 1 month. Shouldn't faults created when servicing be attended to immediately?

So bad its hilarious really!!! Bought a used car from the guys in Edgware Road- went to collect it as arranged , after paying for it , only to find they couldnt find the documents . One month later , still no car no documents, no returned calls or e mails. If it wasnt Toyota , I would say its a scam . Being Toyota , its just an embarrassing fiasco of total incompetence and zero customer service- go somewhere else if youre looking to buy a car !!!

I’m so satisfied with the service I have received from Toyota Jemca on Edgware Road. The customer care was excellent and I’m very happy with my new car.

Appalling and unacceptable service. Will be making an official complaint - firstly they "lost" my service book which is completely unacceptable. Secondly the service was terrible - text and email saying a video of my car was ready but there was no video! Service report was inaccurate with them stating I had tyres which I don't even have (makes you wonder what else they don't check properly when they aren't getting the basics right and losing your service book too!). Was told my car was ready to collect but it wasn't according to their own check out machines causing further delays. Was told to wonder round the car park looking for my car as the person who located the cars was "off today". When I finally found it, to top things off in true Reading Jemca style, it was extremely difficult to get out of the space as they had double parked in the spaces Infront (see pic) - I had to do about 20 point turn to even get out. Talk about poor customer service - I am completely shocked at their incompetence and will be making an official complaint - day light robbery. In addition I was lied to by the receptionist about closing times and no courtesy cars or pick up and drop off were available either.

A minor problem with our Yaris was fully sorted by the Bracknell service department, very pleasant to deal with and very happy with the result, thank you!

I bought a new corolla from them 18 months ago. Went to start it 2 days ago and the battery was flat. Clearly an issue here. Had the RAC out and they changed the battery as need a car with 2 young children, and based on their recent service times they don't do anything quickly. Had RAC change it and the technician said to call up Toyota to have them check the car as this shouldn't happen. Called Toyota Jemca service today and they were so unhelpful and spoke to me like I was stupid. (in a way they're right as I bought a car from them)... Said that there is nothing wrong with the car, but they won't check it over, I shouldn't have had the battery fixed and that the car now has no warranty, and basically to stop wasting their time. Taking no ownership about their part that failed at all.

Never been treated like this by a dealership. They're all nice when selling, but please beware aftercare is awful.

edit 13.02.2023 - spoke to a lovely lady called Natalie from Jemca. Listened to the issues I had and was sincerely apologetic. Explained to me that the staff I spoke to were from their call centre who I was directed to from the Jemca phone number I dialled, and would be investigating with them. She was extremely helpful and appalled at the service I had experienced. Going to pop in next week or so to have a chat about the vehicle and issues. Upgraded to 3* as this was genuinely appreciated.

Bought a CH-R in August great sales staff .. then 4 months later it threw a panic refusing to start for over 10 mins .. finally limped home emails and left VM nothing ... called the sales person Shakil 2 days after he got back from holiday he hadnt returned my VM service line is terrible waited for ages gave up Shakil promised to get service to call me back ... nothing .. so here we are with no response from Jemca Croydon Service a recently purchased car showing many issues and we now have to march up to the site to make a fuss ... maybe we should have checked the reviews first ... I have told them I am out of the country for a month this weekend and dont want to leave my wife without a car .. but hasnt seemed to affect any response ... sigh

Brought a new car on mobility
6 weeks later they tell me I have to pay more and they don’t know how much
So I asked for a refund and they said they will do it straight away as I paid by card
I am still waiting for my refund and chasing them every day still no money

The worst place to put your car for service. Very rude staff, they are just interested in fleecing you for additional unnecessary charges. The quality of service is very poor. Please be careful with these scumbags

I read a review by someone regarding a Yaris service. I wanted to write about my experience with Jemca Toyota in Colindale where VW previously was.

I took my Yaris for a service to maintain its 10 year warranty. At reception and speaking to the lady taking in my car, I got the impression I was being primed for call for additional work. The conversation was strange, I walked out feeling emm I'm going to get a call for additional work. And sure enough I got a call for work that was needed. How did they know this before even looking at the work, all its previous services were done by Toyota. Its a 2019 model, does it require work everytime its serviced? Not a good brand or perhaps Jemca is poor dealer. Anyway after the service there was some sort of weird noice when braking. It cleared after about 500 miles.

The bill was almost £500, I won't be taking the Yaris to Jemca Colindale again, in fact to hell with the warranty I'll take my changes. I going to my tried trusted garage for future services of both my Honda and the Yaris. They are very attentitive.

I also notice there is no reply from Jemca. That says a lot about them.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with the service for my Toyota Yaris by Jemca Edgware , and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. The car didn’t start after about two weeks after the MOT and warranty service at Jemca( £300). There was no obvious reason for flat battery. After contacting Jemca I was informed that the car battery check is not part of the warranty review unless one specifically asks about that. Also I learned that there is recommendation to check& change battery after 5 to 6 years. My car is 5 yo. As an art consultant, I pay premium to Toyota to make a proper car warranty review and make sure that my car is in working condition and not out of order within two weeks.
I hope that this feedback can contribute to improvements in Jemca service processes and ensure a better experience for future customers.

I have a highly disappointing and frustrating experience I recently encountered at here. I had an appointment at 10 am for recall maintenance. To my dismay, I discovered that my car was left parked in the service center's parking bay until 3:30 pm when the actual servicing commenced. I received my car back at 5:30 pm, indicating that the service only took approximately 2 hours. This situation raises serious concerns about the management of appointments and the efficiency of service at your center. The 5.5-hour delay before my vehicle was attended to is unacceptable, and it resulted in a significant waste of my time. I find it perplexing that I was asked to arrive at 10 am for a service that only required 2 hours, leaving my car idle for an extended period without any apparent reason.

I have checked a few times for the status, and everytime they just told me your car will be ready anytime by 5:30pm. They don't even checked with the technicians for the latest status. I don't feel they are willing to help.
