Great communication through out, everything explained as should be, which made it a stress free experience.

I have been dealing with Perrys at Sittingbourne for a number of years now and I cannot fault there service from management to sales. My last dealing was with Ewan from the Sittingbourne branch who was very professional and very friendly and helpful with my needs. I would alos like to thank one of the managers at the same Martin Young who once again was very helpful.

Friendly Sales person, Kim was polite and professional a very calming personality not pushy made the whole experience from looking and test driving easy. Yes would go back and definitely recommend.

Walked in Chesterfield branch to look for a car, receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful and requested a salesperson..
We met with Oscar, told him what we wanted and more importantly what we didn’t want, he took this on board and searched cars we would be interested in. Took us out to see one, looked around and bought it.
Paper work completed easily and efficiently, Oscar told us what to do about changing the private number plate, then to get in touch with the new reg on the old car and a collection date would be set.
Whilst we were there several people asked if we were being looked after, did we want a drink etc. Everyone was so friendly.
On collection, again the receptionist greeted us and remembered us, Oscar was down in a few minutes, final paperwork signed, Oscar registered and taxed the car on our behalf, then took us outside to see the car again.
Went through the controls etc in the car, paired up the iPhones and we were off.
It was a real pleasure to be served by such lovely staff. Oscar was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend Perrys of Chesterfield.

Firstly there was only one key fob which I found very disappointing, especially when I was told this could you can buy one cheaper of the net than being supplied by the company. PERRYS.
Also I asked if jt had satnav and was told yes when the car was delivered to my dismay the satnav did not work and will cost me a lot of money to put right.
This should have been checked znd put right, yet again this will cost me a lot of money again.
Very disappointed with my purchase and and these items should be put right by Perrys without cost to myself.
I certainly will not deal with Perrys again and will advise other people also.

I purchased a Ford Kuga from Perrys Vauxhall at Barnsley. After some delays I finally collected it but on the way home it started making a loud noise . I took it back and a mechanic came out with me and he observed the noise saying it sounded like a brake problem. I eft it with them for a couple of days I called them they told me there was no fault found but they decided to clean the brakes anyway . On the way home the fault was still there ! They kept the car for three weeks then told me it was fixed and ready for collection. When I got there I was told it wasn’t ready ! I spoke to a salesmen he said he would sort me out a replacement vehicle. After a few calls they called me back offering an older Kuga but a better model . I refused it , now they have told me my car is fixed so take it away !

My experience with Perrys Burnley Kia is avoid this garage through their incompetence. Having parted with £20,000 of my money for the purchase of a Kia Sportage the least you would expect is for it to be valeted. Having sorted a deal to purchase the car i was told the ripped seat would be repaired and pictures of this would be sent to me, within 3 days Perrys were ringing me up asking for the full money even though at this point i had not received any pictures of the repaired seat. Reluctantly i transfffered the money over to Perrys. Several days later i received a phone to say the seat had been repaired and the car was ready for me. I drove over to Burnley to pick the car up. The seat had been repaired to a good standard so i took the keys to my new car and first thing i did was drive to the petrol station as there was only 6 miles of fuel in it. Having filled the car up with fuel i drove a mile down the road and the tyre pressure warning light came on, again another visit to a local petrol station to put air in the tyre. Not bad 2 visits to a garage and i've not even got home from picking my new car up. Finally got home and decided to go for a drive in my new car the next day. Unfortunately whilst out driving the engine management light came on and went into limp mode. At this point i decided i was returning the car to Perrys at which they were fine with as it as within 7 days of purchase and i was entitled to a full refund. I was told the money would be in my bank account within 4 to 5 days, not a problem with that . The only thing is the full amount of money is still not in my account. I received the bulk of the money 10 days after returning the car but still awaiting my deposit which has been 2 weeks now. This company are quick enough to take your money but not in returning the money through no fault of my own.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Perrys, specifically Perrys Barnsley Vauxhall.

Shortly after purchasing my vehicle, I identified faults including a battery that does not hold charge and leaking front shock absorbers, which were confirmed during a service. I later found that the shock absorber issue had previously been noted as an advisory on an MOT in December 2024, but this was not raised on the MOT carried out prior to sale in July 2025, despite the issue still being present.

I raised these concerns within 6 months of purchase under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve the matter, including phone calls, emails, and a formal complaint submission. I have repeatedly been told a manager would call me back, but this has not happened, and my email has not received a response.

Due to the lack of engagement, I have now escalated the matter to the Motor Ombudsman.

Overall, I am dissatisfied both with the condition of the vehicle at the point of sale and the lack of customer service when trying to resolve the issue.

Staff are mostly helpful, however I have had to return my Mazda for faults 9 times in 22 months. The last started in November when the plug in Hybrid system stopped charging. Months for a new part, then having to wait a further month for work to be done. They let me take home the vehicle without trying to charge it, and of course I could not. It took another month to get an appointment, and again it needs yet another part, earliest time before repair 12th May 2026.

The experience at Perrys Canterbury Mazda was fantastic because we are very happy with our purchase. Everything went smoothly and quickly. Matt, the salesperson, was very polite and explained everything we asked about. The test drive was reasonably long, which gave us a good opportunity to get familiar with the car, and that was important to us. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we would definitely recommend Perrys Canterbury Mazda.

I dealt with Chelsea Holmes and she was nothing short of outstanding! Polite , smart and very knowledgeable. Always came straight back to me and a real asset to the business! I will definitely be purchasing from the dealership again and recommending Chelsea to deal with

saw a new MG at preston on sale for £31, 540 as advertised on website. test drive ok, helpful , friendly knowledgable sales assistant. All well until he went to his manager for the quote. The price suddenly rose to £33930 plus extras for paint /RFL/ first reg so total of £35,288. Quoted poor part ex value, the lowest of all that I have had. two days later they phoned offering me another £200 for my part ex plus £1500 off price of the car - (which is the government grant for EV anyway!) Same car available at other dealers for £2500 less than initial price . Dont get ripped off at perrys go elsewhere.

Friendly and funny which helped build trust and never pushy like some salesmen are.
The whole process was easy and I left with a fantastic car even though it wasn’t a Vauxhall.

Fantastic service from Perrys. Sales staff were great and a deal was made that I was totally happy with. The whole process couldn’t have been easier.

Wow, further to my earlier review about the dealings with Perrys, I have been disgusted to see their recent advisement of the car they sold to me

They sold me an Audi for £14,899 which was defective. I returned the car two months after purchase because of the defects and the issues with Perrys and was only paid £12,700 so I had lost £2000 in two months. I was told this was “best they could do” despite the car being defective after a short period of time having it. I was told they could only put the car up for sale at max £13,000. Lo and behold two weeks later the car is back on their website for £14,250. So in three months they sold the car to me for £14,899, took £2500 off me as deposit, “bought” it back at £12,700 and selling it again for £14,250.

Lies again

Bought a car on 27 February from Perrys Worksop-Kia:Ford and we paid £34k.Driving back home we realised some steam was coming out from the exhaust, when we arrived home i looked to the exhaust and i found the exhaust was full with black deposits.I rang the dealer straight away and let them know what the car does,they said it is okay because car was sitting for a while.The next few days i was speaking with them and they was assuring me that it is okay.I have opened the bonnet and unscrewed the engine oil cap, the cap flew away. In my opinion its not supposed to be like that on a 10000 miles car.I rang them again and they said it is okay like that.After 500 miles the car went into limp mode and engine management light came on.I called the dealer and spoke with the manager and he said that the car is on warranty and there was nothing they could do and he said i had to sort everything by myself. Be aware of this dealer.
