Hunters Beverley
We were looking to have our house valued with Hunters, the first thing it says on their website when you complete the online request is “it’s simple”, well it clearly isn’t.
Requested a valuation, selected date/time, heard nothing back for a week. Called Hunters at Beverley to be told they don’t get the online requests - so not a good start.
Was then told they don’t cover my postcode, which is odd given the automated email I had from Hunters gave the address/contact details for my local branch, Beverley.
Not great business, maybe I dropped lucky.
Helpful Hunters Estate Agents
I bought a property that was being marketed by Hunters at Chesterfield. The team I assisted by was headed up by Donna and she was brilliant, she was assist by a really good team and any questions I had were answered and I was really well looked after. She chased solicitors when needed and also gave me lots of help and some sympathy when things were taking a while. All in all the experience from Hunters was a very positive one.

Worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. I was told lies from the very start of the sale of my house. Staff do not get back to you having to chase them all the time, they didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. Had I been given correct information from them at the very start I would have been able to make an informed decision regarding who I sold my house to. When I complain they did not even have the decency to contact me personally. Absolute disgusting customer service.

Nicole, who works at the Middleton branch had been fantastic from start to finish. I recently bought a house and the solicitor part of the process was slow and poor on communication. Nicole chased information, kept me updated and did check ins. Highly recommend.

Worst nightmare you could have if you deal with Hunters Abbeywood. No repair on time, always defensive and lieing even when you present them with evidences for their unresponsiveness. Always be a judge in their own case and their manager is also part of them. Please avoid them
Selling our house has been tough
For the last year we have been selling our house, which has been extremely hard as there have been a lot of twists and turns not all good, But the staff at Hunters have been wonderful, they have helped us with everything from helping me write emails and chasing solicitors.
Paula and mostly Michelle have gone above and beyond they have been wonderful and have made something I was dreading that little bit easier,

Just shocked at how I have been treated...
Quite possibly the worst estate agents I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Took them 3 weeks to acknowledge that I was looking to rent, then after 2 viewings they didn't even tell me the landlord had decided to not rent the flats anymore. To add insult to injury they didn't even cross sell to show me other properties they have. I would like to say I am shocked but I am not. I will never use them ever... EVER!

I have been working with this Estate Agent, particularly Beth Jackson, for quite a few months regarding selling a flat in Bridlington. From the first consultation and appraisal, Beth has been efficient and honest with no pressure to use their services. Since working with the team at Hunters I have found all their staff extremely helpful, always doing what they say and going a lot further with their services than most estate agents would. I have no doubt at all in recommending Hunters and when I sell my main home will use them again. Thank you to a brilliant set of staff.
Great, proactive service
We bought a property recently through Hunters, yet to complete, but they have been absolutely fantastic throughout the process.
I wish we had used them to sell our house as well, as they have been proactive, very communicative and extremely professional.
I could not recommend them any higher.

I rented with Hunters for 6 years and had a terrible experience, on the face of it they leave you to your own devices which granted is welcomed when there are no issues however if one should arise they're nowhere to be seen, I've had leaks and holes in my ceiling including a bust pipe and a seeping waste pipe (only 5 months after we found out it was unsafe to live there), they took months to come back and contact, each time it was sarcastic with statements such as 'well were not sat on our Larry's' - that was from a 'Director'- all while myself and small children suffered. The landlord had to continually be contacted directly for him to resolve issues (not like we were the type which complained but a hole in the roof will do that to you). the Inspections lasted 45 seconds and continually either didn't show or rescheduled as they were overrun and 'cannot run into their lunch' - just dont overrun would be the answer.
Very surprised Jack Berson or Jonny Malkinson do not have more of a feel to how their business is ran on a daily basis, should likely remember the landlord is not their only client!!!!
Don’t sell with hunters
If you are selling your property please avoid hunters, they charge an extortionate fee for buyers to provide ID when purchasing a property and use a 3rd party company to complete these checks, sadly that company are really poor and their app doesn’t work meaning the whole process of confirming who you are is near impossible despite having to do so to sell your own property.
Extremely disappointed with this firm
Extremely disappointed with this firm, wanted to purchase a property and have waited a year for a viewing to be told it's now got a offer.
A year ago offered a cash purchase and was given two appointments for viewings on the property both cancelled and the property taken off then relisted 6 months later asked for another viewing numerous times to be ignored and fobbed off. Finally after months for another viewing appointment to be cancelled again and told it's sold. It's been a year completely unprofessional, long time a year to be on the market especially when it could of sold a year ago.
Would not recommend very slow at getting back in touch.

DON,T BUY A PROPERTY IN HUNTERS, ITS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING FISHY
My name is Darshan, and I’m writing to share a genuine review of Hunters Estate Agents and Letting Agents in Chatham. I recently called to inquire about a property on Palmerstone Road, which is currently listed at £275,000.
When I spoke to the agents, they informed me that they had stopped viewing the property and had received an offer. This seemed unusual to me, as it’s not uncommon for properties to be listed and then receive offers within a few minutes. Additionally, it raised concerns about the potential for unethical practices, as the agents were reluctant to allow other people to view the property.
I think that the agents may be trying to sell the property to their family or friends internally and then purchase it from a backdoor deal. This is not only unethical, but it also prevents potential buyers from having a fair opportunity to assess the property. I think everybody needs to aware this things and we don’t need to this Hunters agency.
Horrible Company, Do not use them.
They are very lazy with their work and don't try as much compared to other firms we've interacted with. They made multiple basic spelling mistakes in the detailing of certain properties, such as 'life support' instead of 'lift support' and somehow misspelling 'appliances'. They also have poor communications between potential tenants and letting people, telling us 15 minutes AFTER the designated time that the tenants would not be coming, even though the arrival was booked a week in advance.
Poor staff
One of the girls working at the Lichfield branch, Nikita Barker, shared information about me that she obtained through work with my ex-boyfriend that I wouldn’t have wanted him knowing.
Luckily I found out about this and complained to the branch manager, Chloe Warner, and explained why this could have put me in danger. I wanted this flagging and Nikita to be educated as I didn’t want anything similar happening in the future. However after apparently looking into it, Chloe advised that because Nikita hadn’t breached GDPR they were closing the matter. She wasn’t even going to investigate it in the first place, stating that Nikita shouldn’t have had access to the information I advised she had, she only looked into it because I had screenshots proving that she must have done.
I didn’t even get an apology or a promise that they would ensure nothing similar happened again.
Very disappointing, be very careful with the information you trust this branch with. I really hope someone else within the company sees this and provides training that is very clearly needed
5 years renting with no issues at all
I rented an apartment through Hunters (Otley & Ilkley) for five years and honestly had a great experience the whole time. They were always quick to reply, super easy to deal with, and sorted any issues straight away - no chasing needed. Communication with the landlord was also really smooth thanks to them. Big thanks to Donna, Libby, and Leister for being so helpful and friendly over the years. Would definitely recommend Hunters if you're looking for a letting agent you can rely on.

I cannot praise the team at Hunters Estate Agents, Sutton Coldfield highly enough. I am now settled and happy in my new home because of their dedication, determination and professionalism.
David, Emily and Christie were at my side throughout the entire process in an exceptionally challenging period in the market and in the challenging circumstances of my buyer’s sale falling through twice. Others were quick to suggest reducing my asking price but Emily and Christie were calm, highly professional and determined to help me to attain the best possible outcome and calmly steered me through to my sale despite the challenging market conditions. Their communication was outstanding, even checking in with me out of hours on one occasion. Both Emily and Christie were resilient when dealing with awkward agents lower in the chain and drove the entire chain through the sale process in their dedication and determination to ensure it was finally successful. They both went above and beyond what could possibly be expected.
It is true, exceptional estate agents are rare, Emily and Christie are exceptional and I am now living my dream because of them and their exceptional professionalism and passion.
Thank you simply isn’t enough. If you wish to sell, use the true professionals at Hunters, Sutton Coldfield, David, Emily and Christie simply get the job done.
I had Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agent. I paid a deposit for a flat, expecting everything to go ahead as agreed. Not only did they fail to give me the flat, but they also refused to return my deposit. Completely unprofessional and dishonest behaviour. I would strongly advise others to stay away – this is not how business should be done.
