Love everything except that once we ordered the rest of our pieces after our sample the fabric is slightly different. It's understandable but unfortunate that we now have two pieces together that don't match exactly.

The company and the people have been stellar. Customer service and ease of communication were exceptional. Sadly, the armless trial piece didn’t work for my needs, but that is okay. HR did all possible to ensure I had what I needed to make an informed decision.

My very honest review:

I had my eye on this sectional for 2 years. I was so sure it was going to be the perfect couch to meet the needs of my family of 5. I'm so grateful for their trial period.

Pros:
1. storage space (though I wish it were lined and had a hinge for the lid).
2. Washable covers
3. Color and fabric options (though I wish real linen were an option).
4. Modular
5. Seat cushion was on the firm side, which is what I was looking for. It was also the perfect height for me
I'm 5'8".
6. No springs. That's what I was looking for, and the main selling point of this couch for me.
7. A long warranty

Cons:
1. Off-gassing smell was hard for me and have me a headache. We had to air out the house for 24 hours. I almost put it outside. I think it was the wood. It must be treated with something.
2. The back cushion was going flat after just a few uses. We ordered the 1 sectional piece for the trial period. I sat on it 6 times. My husband wasn't impressed because of the back cushion fling flat so soon and the fact that you can't make it stay in place. He wants a plush cushion that stays in place.
3. This leads me to my final issue: the back cushions do not stay in place. They just sit there and are not connected in any way. That was a major problem for me. If I had the ordered the sectional, the back cushions would have flattened out quickly, and would be flopping around instead of anchored to the back and always there when you needed them. Not to mention my kids would take full advantage of this and steal them for fort- making. That would be all of the cushions, because they are just sitting on the frame.
3. The storage compartment is bare and raw and in need of a liner. Who wants to put blankets and pillows in there? They will snag. The lid of the storage compartment is what the seat cushion sits on top of. You just lift it out to fill the space. I wish there were a hinge on it.

After less than a month, and only sitting on it 6 times, I knew this couch wasn't for me. The clincher was the quickly-flattening back cushion. I was very disappointed. I had the highest hopes for this couch. I was ready to spend $4,500 on a couch (which always seemed crazy to me). Now I have to start my search over or convince my husband to build me one, which he would have to learn).

If Home Reserve would fill the back seat cushions with memory foam or a thinker foam for better support and find a way to temporarily anchor the cushions to the seat and still be washable, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Heck. I would buy it even if the back cushions weren't removable. Even Havertys has their leather cushions stuck to the back of their sofa frame with a huge piece of sturdy velcro. My father has a set that I have inspected. There is no storage and the leather is a blend, but now I'm thinking I may just have to buy them. I can't decide. Everything is so expensive now. I want something that truly lasts.

Outstanding product backed by exceptional customer service! All of my interactions with Home Reserve during the pre-purchase stage were pleasant and supportive, and when my order arrived with a few missing pieces, they were quick to make it right! The couch is exactly what we wanted - comfortable, cleanable, repairable, and sustainable! I highly recommend Home Reserve and will encourage friends and family to look here first when considering furniture that they have in their portfolio.

I love, love, LOVE my new sofa! The material is truly stain resistant and the ease of assembly was great. My grandchildren have already spilled Oreos and strawberry syrup on my ottoman and both came right off with just a wet wash cloth.

Customer service was unrivaled as well. I have nothing but great things to say about the assistance I've received from this company.

If I ever need furniture in the future (but who knows if I will, as this brand is so durable!) I will definitely be returning to Home Reserve!

Staff diligent with confirming of order making sure my order included correct pieces. It has been almost a decade since my original order and I wanted to change the overall arrangement and fabric. Looking forward to another decade of style and comfort.

Unbelievable customer service. Best I have experienced in my life. I love the sectional, so much so that I added another armless deep seat. My hounds love it too! Super comfy and all of us fit now. The Cypress green is perfect in my sunroom.

Absolutely love my couch. Have received so many compliments on it. Even though my order came with a missing part, it was quickly rectified and a new part was sent quickly.

Deep Seat Tux Layout 5 in Sterling Linen is a blessing. The fabric resists cat scratching and is easy to spot clean. It looks great in my open room that sports a 20 foot cathedral ceiling and the color is a nice neutral. I was resistant to gray, but this one’s classy and comfortable. I might suggest using a rubber mallet to help with construction, I’m a senior; some of the wooden pieces were a little tight to assemble.

it was pretty easy to assemble, it was delivered exactly when it was expected to, im very happy with my purchase. i thought the fabric was going to be slightly darker and the cushions do tend to slide forward that would be my only complaint but i imagine it can be fixed with some velcro strips. it’s very comfortable and sturdy i would recommend to a friend.

Customer service was great when we had a missing part. Time will tell about how the couch will hold up but a month in seems to be holding up pretty well.

I've had my couch for nearly 10 years, and when the support under a cushion snapped (thanks, kids), I reached out about the warranty. Home Reserve was easy to work with and shipped me a replacement at no charge. The couch is just as comfortable and supportive as the day I bought it — cleans well, holds up to kids and pets, and you'd never guess its age. Great product, great service. Would absolutely buy from them again.

The couches are comfortable and look nice. The downside is there was a piece missing and the instructions were confusing both on the video and book because on both is said the each seat is to be individually assembled when actually all 3 seats were assembled together, I hope that makes sense, otherwise perfect.
