I usually don't like to complain. This company drop ships from China. I paid $149 for the strap. I've found the same strap for my Cartier Roadster on line for $6.99. I went through an exchange and had to pay Helventus $19 to them to ship the correct strap and the postage to Switzerland was another $46 from San Diego. They sent me the wrong strap in nylon. I asked for the leather. They would not accomodate me unless I paid the same charges again. I just put the strap on my watch, thinking I might as well use it anyway. The mechanism is horrible. It won't stay on my watch. So it's a throw away. There is no way I'm going to put this horrible strap on an amazing watch, when the strap could come off and I could lose the watch. This is now the worst purchase I've made in my lifetime. This company is a fraud. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Ordered their strap for Tudor Monochrome ...it was a joke did not come close to a fit....they offered nothing but BS excuses..buy at your own risk

I should have done more research on Helvetus before I wasted my money. Basically you pay premium prices for badly made straps, mine was circa £100, and receive the worst shipping service ever known to mankind. Imagine a cheap and poorly made Chinese knockoff shipped by a steam boat with tracking updates communicated through a blinking camel. I threw the strap straight in the bin after waiting 2 weeks - better that than deal with Mia, the AI generated client service person that never sleeps. Note, I suspect that this company has nothing to do with Switzerland...however someone at the firm may have an auntie that may have visited there sometime in the distant past.

Within 3 month, I have ordered two leather straps.

First order was a black crocodile leather Strap for my NOMOS Model Ludwig. Delivery took 8 days, quality was perfect and better than the original strap from NOMOS.
Second order took again 8 days of shipment, but was delivered with a wrong color (golden clasp instead of silver)
Hence I’ve reported the issue to their Service Mail on Thursday late afternoon, on the very same day I received a reply Mail from "Mia" including a return shipping label.
As soon as they have received my return shipment (next Monday), they immediately arranged the replacement shipment which arrived 8 days later.
I was kept informed by support staff Mia about every step of the process proactively.
The quality of both watch straps was very high, even better than the original straps from brands such as NOMOS or Fortis .

So errors can always happen, but if they are managed that way I have no issues at all.

And why then “only” 4 Stars?
On their WebSite helvetus.de (so falling under German law), no Tax number was displayed, no Company Registration Number, no address, no telephone number. Owner of such Website is a Swiss guy registered in Luzern (acc. to WHOIS). Shipment was initiated from Shenzen/CN, return Address was AliExpress/DE. This makes me think, even though everything else fits perfectly and thats the reason why I stepped back from a 5-star rating

This 'company' is a scam with a customer representative (a bot, I imagine) called Mia. I paid 110.95 euro for an 'alligator leather' watch strap which was cheap tat from China worth less than a euro. I am instructing my bank to issue a chargeback today as I have been waiting fruitlessly for weeks for the promised refund.
Avoid like the plague.

I ordered a Mesh bracelet for my Omega and what I got is the most trash bracelet on the planet. I paid 38 euro for nothing, this is fraud. I have filed an official complaint with the authorities in the Netherlands.

Ordered two rubber straps for my Tudor from these guys. One strap is decent, the other is terrible. Doesn't properly fit the Pelagos endlink, cheap clasp...hugely disappointed customer.

The company is a scam. I ordered a strap for my Apple Watch, cost $79. They shipped a strap that attaches to a standard watch with pins. I emailed to inform that they sent wrong strap. They replied that it shipped with an adapter. There was no adapter in the package. I asked them to send an adapter and they refused, saying that their records showed it had been shipped. I asked the cost to purchase an adapter and they said that I can’t, because they ship together. I asked for a return label and a refund, they told me I’d have to ship it at my cost (probably $15 or more back to China) - their site says it’s a Swiss product but it shipped from China), but if the entire product is not returned (insisting as they did that is also have to return the adapter they’d never shipped), that I wouldn’t be eligible for a refund under their policy. Of course that’s true - fraud and scam is their policy. Don’t by shit from them.

terrible terrible. customer service should wear ski masks and hold a gun. they sent damaged stuff and said tough luck!

Grosse arnaque. Prix surfait. Le bracelet pour ma montre Longines avait une belle apparence mais après l avoir porté deux mois, il pelle. La couche de finition part et laisse apparaître un plastique moulé. Le site pompeux est une façade pour un produit chinois qui se vend 5 euros ailleurs. A éviter

J'ai acheté deux bracelets cuir pour la Cartier Tank de mon épouse à noël dernier (valeur 130€).
A réception, une très fort odeur de plastique se faisait sentir...
Je dois préciser que l'emballage provenait directement de Chine (tampons, adresse de l'expéditeur...)
A l'ouverture du colis, l'odeur était insupportable mais il faut aussi signaler aussi une qualité visuelle "full plastique" des produits.
J'ai donc contacté le site qui vraiment pris de haut, qui ne se cache pas de faire du Dropshiping.
Pour eux, l'odeur et la qualité sont absolument normal et n'ont absolument pas envisagé d'assumer la très mauvaise qualité des leurs produits (coutures, ajustement et finition digne d'un premier prix).
Impossible de porter les bracelet j'ai décidé de les laisser dans le garage mais après plusieurs mois, l'odeur c'est tout juste atténuée.
Je déconseille vivement ce site qui n'est qu'une escroquerie.

Das von mir bestellte Armband wurde nicht geliefert. Die Armbänder sind minderwertig und kommen direkt aus China. Man macht sich noch nicht einmal die Mühe, die Sendungen aus der CH zu verschicken. Total überzogene Preise für China-Schrott. Man ist nicht gewillt auf die Korrespondenz bzgl. der Bestellung einzugehen und zu erkennen, dass die Lieferung falsch war. Stattdessen scheint eine KI zu antworten. Diese Mia gibt es mit Sicherheit nicht. Es sind Betrüger und ihnen gehört das Handwerk gelegt. Lügen haben kurze Beine und ich hoffe dieses Pack stolpert demnächst über seine Stummelbeinchen.

Ich habe auf Grund Beratung durch den Support "Mia" 2 Bänder für meine Tag Heuer Carrera bestellt. Beide passten nicht, Begründung des Support, das müsse an dem Gehäuse der Uhr liegen.
Umtausch nicht möglich, da Sonderanfertigung. Wovon aber nichts in den Widerrufinformationen steht.
Ich habe heute nochmal den Kontakt gesucht, rechne aber nicht mit positiver Reaktion.
muss versuchen die Kosten über die Kreditkarte erstattet zu bekommen.

They advertise themselves offering luxury watch straps for luxury watches when in reality they sell cheap AliExpress straps shipped directly from China.
Unluckily, I fell for the trap and ordered one from them for £79 and when it arrived it was garbage. Came in AliExpress packet and in a transparent pouch with same AliExpress barcode. They did not even bother to package it in their own branding.
The strap is probably sold on AliExpress for £5 and they charged £79 for it.
I immediately reached out to them and guess what they asked me to return it to their Switzerland address. It was such a waste of time and money.
I shipped it tracked and signed. When it reached them, they did not issue refund right away. I had to send them an email. They confirmed they issued the refund but then I did not receive it for next 10 days. When I emailed them again, they told me all funds have been cleared from their end.
I had no option but to open dispute with Amex (I am glad I used Amex). Amex credited by account and opened the dispute. After a week or more, Helvetus reached out to me saying they were surprised I opened dispute when they have cleared the funds etc etc and wanted me to close the dispute. I clearly told them I have not received the money and I am not going to close the dispute.
Later they emailed me saying there was an issue with their internal process and the amount was not really refunded to my card (BIG SURPRISE). They again asked me to close the dispute so they can refund directly to me.

I told them to deal with Amex.
They are such a horrible company.

Watch band bought turned out to be Chinese crap. Returned also received confirmation of receipt. The purchase amount will simply not be refunded. Say yes, but if you ask for proof of that, they don't have it. They have a nice website but don't fall for it is just ‘dropshipping’ by AliExpers!!!!!’ I will get my purchase amount back by legal means!!!!

I should never have purchased my rubber strap from Helvetus in the first place. It has been a poor experience from start to finish. To mention a a few things; firstly, it is not a premium strap that will be delivered. I received my "premium" strap in a no name plastic zipper bag straight from any random Chinese manufactruing site, delivered by AliExpress. No premium packaging what so ever. Secondly, the strap and buckle is of very poor quality. The strap is silicone and doesn't breath, and the clutch is so poor it goes up just by coincidentally touching it. Not safe for any watch, and a catastrophy for a premium watch. The customer service was so bad. I was offered to buy another buckle, which was also of very poor quality. I doubt the customer service agent was a human. This is not acceptable for a something that is sold as premium. I have now spent 120 Euros on the poorest thing ever quality and experience wise. I will never bea able to use it. Recommendation: Don't buy from Helvetes!

Terrible company that doesn't deliver on its promises. The product shouldn't exist. I bought a strap in April 2026 and two months later I still haven't received it.
Every time I email them, they say the product is on its way, but it never arrives and they repeat the same answer. It's on its way. Don't trust them.
