I bought a new fridge online during the Boxing Day sales. I ordered it on 28 December and it was delivered on 31 December. Very happy with the quick turnaround, the great discount and my fantastic fridge!

We are extremely happy with the prices we paid for the appliances we bought for our kitchen renovation. When we booked a delivery date we had 2 reminders from Harvey Norman and a call from the delivery driver when they were 10 minutes away. The delivery went well we couldn't ask for more. Well done everyone involved.

The worst experience with dealing with Harvey Norman Online. Their customer service is appalling. They can’t be contacted by phone and they don’t reply to emails. Despite emailing them three times, they haven’t bothered to reply.
I was supposed to receive a $50 voucher for spending over $500. I’ve never received it and they won’t reply to my emails. Disgusting, unprofessional company.

on 26/12 and incorrect tracking was sent to me. Have contacted Harvey Norman over 6 times to send new tracking as well as phoned them. It is 12/1 and they still have not supplied correct correct tracking and apparently seller is not responding to emails. Harvey Norman have been useless beware do not buy from them! Or this seller!

I purchased a Samsung fridge at the Burleigh store, in the past have always purchased at the Bundall store but found the staff at Burleigh amazing.
Had already decided on a fridge at bundall but went to Burleigh to see if they had the colour I was going to order. Instead was told about the Samsung fridge by Aaron and it blew me away so ordered it straight away. I then found it online cheaper and he matched the price but yet got his great service. When I went to pay in full there was a problem with the price and was put onto the store manager and it was not a problem for him to fix. I was blown away by the staff and the service I received and will now buy from no one but Harvey Norman Burleigh. Thanks for making everything so easy and I love love love my new fridge which is all because of Aarons recommendation.
Appalling customer service - Harvey Norman Broadway, NSW
Purchased a HP monitor online from Harvey Norman in November. It arrived damaged. Harvey Norman Broadway (NSW) refused to give me a refund or credit, deferring to HP to resolve the matter. At today, Harvey Norman is still in possession of the defective monitor, which they've be investigating for the last 5+ weeks. Meanwhile, I continue to wait for an update and am out of pocket, and with no monitor.
Customer service is appalling.
Will never again shop there.
Harvey Norman “Computer not fit for purpose – refund refused
Purchased a Mac from Harvey Norman Wagga Wagga after clearly explaining I needed it to run Lightroom, Photoshop and a Leica microscope. I specifically asked if the recommended model would be suitable and was assured that it was.
Within days, the computer became slow and frequently unresponsive, even running Lightroom alone. Opening Safari or any additional app causes freezing, making it unusable for normal everyday use.
Harvey Norman has refused a refund, treating this as “change of mind” despite the product not being fit for the stated purpose and being unable to supply a suitable replacement within a reasonable timeframe. I am now forced to escalate the matter through Fair Trading.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing high-value technical equipment from this store
Harvey Norman: Greed and contempt for Australia
I should have done this years ago. My fault for not doing so until now.
The only reason I’m assigning 1 star to this organisation is because I can’t post it without assigning at least 1 star.
This organisation acted unethically towards the Australian people. There’s no other word for it! Utter greed and contempt for us, the taxpayers.
It received $22 million from the Government during Covid (Job Keeper) and only refunded $6.02 million when public pressure pushed senior management to do so. It made record profits during the COVID period and should have refunded the money (as other companies did - including JB HiFi) when it made profits rather than losses during COVID.
Just letting you know Jerry that I haven’t bought anything from your store since Covid and nor have any of my family members. Nor will we ever!

Worst experience ordering from Harvey Norman.
During the Boxing Day sale, I purchased an Oura Ring 4 using a gift card. I later cancelled the order and requested a refund. From the beginning, the process has been extremely frustrating and poorly handled.
We were in constant contact with the online enquiries team, yet it took over a week just to cancel the order. We were clearly told that the refund would be processed back to the same gift card within 3 business days.
After following up, we were then told a new gift card would be issued within 24 hours. Now, they have changed their story again and are saying it will take 5 business days to generate a new card.
The lack of consistency, transparency, and accountability is unacceptable. On top of that, the support team has been unhelpful and repeatedly closed the chat when we raised our concerns, instead of resolving the issue.
This has been a very disappointing and stressful experience. Poor customer service and broken promises. I will never buy from Harvey Norman again.
Misleading information
I was informed my item was "shipped" 4 days ago so I checked the tracking number I was given .... NOT EVEN SCANNED by the courier.

Initial email received with no ability to track parcel, nor contact details for update. Chat tool on website next to useless & failed to provide any information. Ended up ringing my local store who chased up information & got an email sent to me with details. Very poor online communication & customer support, would not recommend.

Extremely disappointed with Harvey Norman’s online service. I’ve had issues with both of my recent attempts to shop here:
Refund Issues: A failed transaction took nearly a week to be refunded to my account, which is unacceptable for a major retailer.
Misleading Availability: My second order was placed because the item showed as "In Stock." However, I was notified the next day of a 3-week delay.
No Direct Refund: When I asked to cancel due to their delay, they made it difficult to get a direct refund.
It seems like they accept payments first and check stock later. This is a misleading practice and a huge waste of time for customers. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
The best TV for your home
On Monday 15th December 2025 It was extremely nice of Atilla to do this for $599 because the manager approved the authorisation. Also it was extremely nice of Jason from the warehouse team to bring it out to the car for me and to put it into the car for Atilla since I can't carry it due to having a left leg discrepancy also it was extremely nice of him to drive me home. Click & Collect or Not To Click & Collect …
Went into the Local Harvey Norman Armidale NSW. I ordered a item online and was at the Click & Collect Counter waiting behind another customer. When i was told quiet rudley to go to the Photo Counter they could help me there. Um was i not at the Click & Collect Counter where the big sign says Click & Collect. Rude customer service from Click & Collect. The young bloke at the Photo Counter was helpful. But seriously instead of saving a few dollars now i will spend extra at Bing Lee or JBhifi. Just to get better service.

I purchased a great inkjet printer from them after also purchasing my new phone. Great experiences from the sales people who also helped transfer my data across from my old phone to the new one.

I bought online a TPLink AX3000 AIR E2 to use as a range extender/mesh but found it didn't have a LAN port which I needed to connect to my desktop as it doesn't have a wireless card. I contacted HN Geelong & was told I couldn't return it for a refund but could get a credit to be spent immediately!
I then visited a Melbourne store & was immediately given a refund (less the delivery fee). Given the excellent refund policies from Amazon & JB Hi Fi, it appears one or some HN stores are damaging the HN brand!
I attempted to leave this review when requested by HN but they wouldn't post it - even after removing mention of their competitors.
Bad Delivery Serivcs don't (RECOMMEND)
The show and sales are ok, but their delivery is up shit creek. Delivery was between 11-30am & 2-30pm. Still no Delivery right now, the time is 6-00 pm not happy, very bad Harery Normen
Would not give a refund on a still-in-warranty kettle
I returned a Philips kettle STILL IN WARANTY. It was leaking but even though the stupid woman could see that the end of the handle was lose, even though the lid of the kettle did not open when pushed, she considered that it was not faulty. Harvey Norman LOVES taking your money but as soon as an item is faulty the excuses not to refund it are endless. Do not purchase anything from this tacky store as their staff will go to lengths to disclaim your legitimate claim. If I could give a negative score I would. Buyer beware with this sorry store. Absolute ZERO customer service, lax staff and I am not surprised at their low rating. Stear clear and buy elsewhere. Be warned.
Misleading description
I bought this product and the description says Salt and Pepper grinder. Also pictures display 2x grinder,2 grinders packed into 1 box. My order displays 2 grinders packed in one box.But just one grinder wrapped arrived. Very misleading pictures and description.
