I bought the Animated 6ft Floating Ghost around a week ago, and after a few activations, it promptly broke, went on Halloween Costumes live chat expecting the worst, but was greeted by a friendly agent, and was given a new one within one message, with no need to return the old one, I could not believe it. People complaining about shipping costs also need to realise that these items are being imported from the US, in record time mind you! Overall, yes, I recommend you buy from here.

Don't order from here. I ordered a wig and hat in October 2024 and the wig was horribly made and hat didn't fit so I sent them back (after speaking to customer service who said I could) and as of January 2025 I have yet to receive my refund and they are ignoring all communication

How have you charge me just under £20 for a ‘large item’ when the box that came could have been sent through Royal Mail for £5!! They didn’t even put the item in a box, they just posted the package it came in!! Absolute rip off!!

Bought an £100 outfit from them for Halloween. Arrived and it was huge. Returned it straight away. A few weeks went by and no sign of a return. Emailed to see if I would be receiving a refund. STILL NO REPLY. I got tracked delivery and can see it’s been successfully delivered to the return hub. Might aswell of thrown £100 away. Do not buy from them!

Ordered a 4 x elf costume - top too short, belt missing and socks elasticated and dug into legs - dangerous to wear or cut off circulation.
American company using UK websites and then the return address is the UK...AVOID at all costs

Return rip-off! Since the quality doesn't match the picture, I wanted to return. But out of $54 I would only get back $18, what a rip off. They have an 18% restocking fee, do NOT return your initial shipping, plus you pay shipping back to them. So for an never opened item, they get back and give you $18 back out of $54. Rip off not doing business with them ever again.

I ordered a £60 halloween costume, which is a lot more than I wanted to pay but it looked amazing on the site. When it arrived it was a tiny piece of fabric with feathers badly glued to it, and a size large wouldn't have even fit a child. I asked to return, and had to pay my own return fee. Contacted the company three times as a month later I still had no refund. Lucky I sent the item tracked as they argued they did not receive it. Then was told I had to pay a 18% restock fee, so only received £34 in refund! They also told me they dont even have a complaints department, this cant even be rectified.. avoid at all costs!! Not even worthy of 1 star.

******AVOID****** it’s a terrible company, I cancelled order in time but they still sent it. Terrible trouble trying to get them to accept it’s their error. Eventually they did but would cover returns cost, I returned it they saying didn’t receive it. Gave them proof of postage they saying that’s not good enough. Con artists avoid at all cost! Also based in America and that’s not clear on site.

As a UK customer, I also find it puzzling to see so many negative reviews here. Most seem to focus on issues with returns, which I didn’t experience. I was aware of their policy and decided to take the chance.

One way to avoid returns is by double checking the measurements listed for each costume, as they do vary. I did this, and my items arrived quickly and fit perfectly, so I have no complaints.

My only minor criticism is the postage cost, which feels a bit high. Many companies offer free shipping, especially for higher-value orders, but that’s not the case with this one.

They don’t give returns for a month over Halloween period. Surely that should be illegal to not allow customers to return unwanted items. Awful customer services. Do not shop here!

I ordered a costume and paid extra for fast-track delivery. Whilst it didn't actually arrive on time, when I messaged them they immediately apologised and offered to refund the whole amount including delivery and didn't want the item back, asking me to donate it. Whilst it was a little annoying that I didn't receive my order I was really impressed with their customer service to resolve the issue so quickly. I've had late arrival issues with other businesses and they have been difficult about it and always want the item back before refunding.

Cant work out why theres so many negative reviews... alright its not immediately obvious theyre an american based company but so what ? I ordered 2 masks on friday and they arrived wednesday (day before halloween) which I think is pretty amazing considering how far theyve come! Theyre both great quality masks too! And where both reduced to £9.99 cant fault this company at all! Also I noticed a lot of the bad reviews are consumer error.. such as "item didnt fit" , "didnt come on time" ... well thats not worthy of giving 1 star reviews.. if you leave it till last minute thats on you surely? If youre bigger than you thought when ordering, again surely not this company's fault 😂 either way MY expierience has been great and will definatly use them again !

Avoid! Bought a ghostbusters costume in September for halloween to beat the rush for my work. Measurements on the website I checked against myself and thought they would fit. Product arrived, I tried it on, seemed ok. Halloween week comes, I wear the costume, it rips at the back. I manage to get through the day as it is covered up by the backpack, but the rip gets worse. I sent multiple emails trying to get help but was ignored. Then I try the live chat, which was not shared to me at first. After hours of trying to get through someone responds saying there is nothing that can be done as it is over 14 days since the order was placed. I shared pictures and explained that it ripped after one wear, and I also checked the measurements of the item were very different to what was listed. Not a few millimetres off, it was so much smaller than described it may as well have been a totally different size. Terrible company with non existent customer service, dishonest about measurements, unfair returns policy and refused to help with damaged goods. A waste of £70!

Received a faulty item, they didn't want to accept the return so they offered a 50% card refund to keep it. I asked if it was 50% off the entire order, they confirmed. However, when refund was received, it was only half of the item price. Now I have to wear a faulty product, which I can never use again. Won't recommend.

god i wish i had read these first. Not based in UK, even though they are.co.uk and have uk number. they are an absolute disgrace and operating illegally. they have total halloween ban on returns from oct 6th to nov 6th which is illegal in uk. i made mistake of buying 2 for choice and they wont let me return so i shall be contacting my bank. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered a costume on Monday and it arrived Friday morning! Incredibly quick service considering it shipped from the US all the way over to the UK.
Costume is excellent quality too, really happy!

Avoid or waste your money, absolute scam, item is poor quality, and I'm being generous, I wish I could give no stars. no refund allowed for Halloween items ordered after the 6th October? Even if return allowed you have to pay 18% restock fee and all postage and if they deem the return to be against policy you get no refund, no item back and they don't even let you know!

This site is a total con. Before placing order the site read that they would not accept returns of Halloween costumes after 23 October until sometime in November "during the Halloween season". I then go back on to return an item that doesn't fit. To find the notice has now been changed to read will not accept returns postmarked after 6th October.

Not only that, this company is not UK based. They are USA based, they copy and paste the same site and stock across .co.uk, .com, .au etc addresses. They also apply a 18% restock fee on returns. Which is actually an illegal practice in the UK. They also expect you to pay the shipping cost to return anything. They're shipping fee added to order is also pretty high. Naturally as they're using FedEx from the states.

If you do intend to order anything from here be sure you don't need to return or buy it well clear of October. If you're not plus size, try and get your costumes elsewhere. Avoid this company at all costs.

No returns, don't comply with UK consumer laws and customer service is terrible
