Not very impressed with their quote…
Not very impressed with their quote system. On 12 September 2023 I visited the Go2Insre website and went through the whole on-line process for an insurance quote. I ended up with a screen message saying they could not offer a quote, but no explanation as to why. I left the webpage without saving it, so no record on my part

I call them to change my address as I…
I call them to change my address as I moved recently and they cancelled straight away my insurance without any explanation. I was left in the middle of the road without insurance. Furthermore they charged my £75 for this cancellation. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! Still nobody got in touch with me to offer at least another option.

We're sorry to hear we were unable to offer you a quote for cover upon updating your address.
Cancelling a policy is a last resort. It isn't in our interest to cancel policies; it's not something we do lightly, nor without thoroughly reviewing all the information provided.
Every insurer view risks differently based on their own data, and this is used to create our underwriting criteria around who we can and can't insure as well as the premiums applicable. Regrettably, we cannot provide a specific reason as to why we couldn't offer you cheaper quote this time.
As we’re regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, we do not make any profit on charges like the cancellation and administration fee. This covers costs such as the consultant who cancels the policy. The admin fee also covers the cost of updating your details on several databases, such as the DVLA and Motor Insurance Database.
This is why we make sure any of our fees are noted on our website, your policy documents and mentioned on our calls.
I know this is frustrating, but I hope this explains why we charge an admin fee.
