I did not like the hard sell for…
I did not like the hard sell for membership of their firm. I did book washing machine repair, which was straightforward, no parts needed, but it cost me 159.00. I ended up being a member at 12.99 a month. Then when I wanted to cancel it, they charged me 50.00. A rip-off. I woukd not recommend this firm

The initial call is the only thing that…
The initial call is the only thing that happens properly with this company. They sold me their membership. A 5 minute inspection of the engineer and then parts worth 294£ , that were actually only 150£ when called in Electrolux directly to fix the hob. Installations of new items is not covered. Checked for an Hotpoint hob to purchase through go assist. Was priced at 250 £ , gave me an 80£ discount voucher for being a member and made it 170£ . But the actual price in Curry's was 160£ for the same hob. Called and cancelled membership, they charged 159£ for a visit with no repairs carried and engineer stayed for 5 minutes telling us about the issue we already knew.
. Think well before using this platform. Waste of money, time and a lot of stress.

We thought we had a bearing problem but the engineer came out and said the drum had ovalled. He left after doing absolutely NOTHING. We were charged the full amount for a bearing repair which never happened (mind you we got a £50 discount on the 'repair')...gee! Then we were locked into an insurance policy for £12.99 per month for a year. So that's the best part of £250 for a call out where he did NOTHING and still the machine is faulty. Not only that I am sick of getting emails, texts and phone calls from the insurers trying to upsell me. For some reason THEY failed to take a monthly payment from an account in credit by four figures and harass me for not getting it. I checked with my bank who said there is no earthly reason and have NOT recorded any such failed payment...yet that's MY fault even after checking my details are correct. At this stage I told them I was sick to the back teeth of them and to cancel my policy. They didn't. Another harassing phone call saying I had agreed to continue. I told them straight that was a downright lie and to check the recording. Now they want the £5O discount back on a repair that never took place so that's £300 now THE PRICE OF A NEW WASHING MACHINE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. IF ONLY YOU COULD AT LEAST GIVE ZERO STARS.
