Original booking process simple and great communication. Family illness then meant my husband would be taking my daughter to the concert instead of me, and I was worried there might be an issue with the tickets being in my name.

If Gigantic insists on not letting customers choose their own seats, the absolute bare minimum they should get right is assigning the best available seats to the first buyers in each section. That’s basic logic. That’s customer service 101.

Instead, I bought my ticket the moment the sale opened — literally one of the first people in that section — and they stuck me in Row A, Seat 1. Yes, the front row of the block, but the worst possible angle, shoved all the way to the side, as far from the stage as you can get while technically still being in the section.

How does that make sense?
Why would any competent ticketing system assign the first buyer the worst seat in the row?

If you’re going to remove seat selection, then you take responsibility for making the assignment fair. Gigantic failed that completely. It feels careless, lazy, and honestly disrespectful to the customer.

If you want a company that actually understands how seating works, look elsewhere. Gigantic clearly doesn’t.

Due to ongoing riots and protests after a terrorist attack in Belfast, with public transport disruptions leaving me physically unable to get there and general fear and panic of heading I was unable to make the event and even with purchasing a refund plan on top of my tickets I was refused a refund as apparently being made aware of travel disruptions BEFORE your event means you aren't entitled. Make that make sense! How else would you be able to contest any disruption to travel if you didn't know it was going to happen? And even more crazy - letting me know I can put my tickets up for sale - bear in mind the event has already passed! I work in customer service and I am appalled.
