Just brilliant. Hredi was on top of everything, made sure things kept moving, even when it wasn't really her work to do. As someone with severe dyslexia, Hredi would make sure all information was clear, easy to understand and ring me, whenever I needed more clarity or reassurance. Even after completion, Hredi went the extra mile, when I need support with the key collection. Honestly, can't speak highly enough of Hredi and everyone I spoke with at Fix My Legals, they made what can be a very stressful experience, nearly stress free, dare I say, pleasant. I would not hessite to use Hredi and Fix My Legals again and have already recommend them 🙂

Fix My Legals gave me a solicitor who left my files unopened for weeks, gave no updates, told me that the responsible person was on lunch break to avoid taking responsibility, and hung up on the seller's estate agents, who were furious as a result. Eventually FML said the company had been blacklisted after lots of complaints - but I wonder how long they'd known about their incompetence without informing customers.
I wasted a good chunk of my holiday sorting out the move to a new solicitor, trying to find signal to figure out whether my files had been kept and if any searches that might have come through could be transferred. This took up a big chunk of the holiday and I missed a few places I was due to stop over in.
By the time that was resolved a few months had passed since making the offer on the house. The buyers started delaying and eventually changed their minds, pulling out of the sale.
FML gave me some money back but kept a few hundred.
Eventually I made an offer on a different place, chose to go to a reputable solicitor directly, and the whole process was completed in 2 months.
Comparatively, the ordeal with FML should have been a simple first-time buyer flat purchase but became a huge waste of time and money.

We were allocated LPL as our solicitor for a remortgage who were awful to deal with but Aaliyah at FML was very responsive, escalated our issues, and provided updates where she could. I think we’d still beat stage 1 without her help! Thanks Aaliyah :)

Fix My Legals was a new concept for me in the legal world of house purchasing and selling. Brooke Cleaver of FML was brilliant in how she handled all the enquiries that were thrust her way. I was given a good solicitor via FML and between her and Brooke that managed a very difficult sale of my property.
Nothing was straight forward but I was kept up to date at every stage and Brooke was always at the end of a phone or email if I had a query - and there were many.
I would recommend Fix My Legals for pain free, straightforward advice and assistance.

Fix my legals were great from start to finish, I love that they send milestones that have been met so you can clearly see where you're at and what stage is next, they also break down the costing really clearly which was good.
Aaliyah handled our case and she was incredible, we had loads of issue and Aaliyah was always in our corner trying to get answers or resolve things for us.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for Aaliyah and she went above and beyond to help and reassure us throughout the process.

This review reflects my personal experience. I was referred to Fix My Legals by my broker, and only later realised that they operate as an intermediary and pass work on to third-party firms. This structure was not fully clear to me at the outset.
In my case, the work was carried out by a third-party firm, and I found communication to be difficult, particularly when trying to speak directly with someone handling my matter. As a result, I raised a complaint with Fix My Legals. Initially, my concerns were acknowledged and escalated to their contact at the third-party firm. However, after their response was shared with me, I did not receive any further follow-up.
There remains an unresolved financial issue, and I have been unable to reach a satisfactory resolution through either party. For this reason, I have decided to refer the matter to the Ombudsman. While others may have had different experiences, this arrangement did not work well for me.

All communication was excellent — fast, clear, and professional throughout the entire process. The team was always responsive and helpful. The only improvement I could suggest would be having an online client portal, as it would make tracking progress easier instead of relying solely on email correspondence. Overall, a very positive experience.
