I have sent many messages to filefactory asking for assistance. They haven't replied to any of them. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO LOOK AFTER YOUR FILES!!!!! Despite being a lifetime member with a promise that my files would be stored for life they have deleted every single one of them!!! I am fortunate that I also had them backed up locally but I will not be loading any new files to their servers

Andy posted on reddit January 9, 2026 there was a ransomeware infection and filefactory was hacked. He had to pull the site down. He had backups and I was able to renew my account when they came back on. The files were not updated prior to Feb 2026, and links did not work.. They ended up taking my payment but of course the site once again cannot be accessed. I've been a member for over 20 years, but I had to create a new account in order to register. I hope Andy reaches out and provides a lifetime membership once he gets it up and running, otherwise I'm forced to use another service. Hopefully he reaches. I absolutely loved this service and would hate to have to move on. Please reach out Andy. Thank you.

I've been a lifetime member for about 15 years. It's been a very disappointing year or so. Until the website completely disappears, there's still a little hope.

File factory was so good till they updated it then problems started, and then the site goes down for maintenance and now even tho I have premium membership it no longer recognises my password and will not send me a pass word reset link, I have sent messages to them but never hear back they have got my money and don't want to no, this needs to be sorted out

Has File Factory been hacked? My 13 year account and password doesn't compute after the new website launch. NO emails for password reset.

Looks like it has finally been taken down. Taking a lot of peoples files and money with it. Way to take a great functioning website and flush it down the toilet. Top marks people

Good day does anyone of u have any news of file factory since February now no upload download work I found a working e mail still of them but no one responds .

I hope there's. No suspicious hackers in the site or other other suspicious assistance that. Don't have to do nothing with filefactory.

This is awul situation. If they would at least write let everyone know what. Is going on or if they continue with filefactory but don't just abandon the site that is a bad sign.

Im very sad about my files I uploaded it there and can't access it..

If they in deet left it would be goodbye to filefactory.
Or they created a new site that Andy mentioned on January.

The worse no one knows if they did created already new site as said or planned.

I guess I will.never know.

Must be closed down - cannot renew account. The payment portal does not work. No one ever answers on the help line.

Long time premium user of Filefactory. Used to be very good. Since July or August of 2025 it has been up and down for weeks. Not usuable, not trustable. My premium subscription runs out in 7 days. I got in today. First time in about a month or more. Before I even think of renewing, I need to see that it has been up and available , and usable for 6 months before wasting any more money.

Es wird immer Verrückter mit Filefactory, jetzt kann ich mich noch nicht einmal mehr einloggen, obwohl ich von meinem damals gekauften 5 Jahresabo noch ca 2 Jahre übrig habe. Ich kann jeden warnen ein Abo abzuschliessen. Ich werde jedenfalls auf keinen Fall verlängern, kann mein Geld auch an andere Anbieter ausgeben. In meinen Augen sieht es aus wie ein Betrug

The site does not work consistently. It's been a week and I am unable to use the site.I can't log in. I can't even contact the site as it just gives me an error. It used to be good. But I would not recommend it today.

I have a lifetime subscription to Filefactory and everthing was great until last summer when they upgraded the site. Since then, the site has not worked reliably and now I am unable to even log on to the site. Their support email address now bounces back as invalid. I get error messages when trying to contact them via their Contact page. In short, I am unable to the site and unable to contact support.

good day filefactory team am writing because for almost a week now am unable to login to my account at filefactory its set to premium at this time whe i try to sign in i get an unexpected error occurd and none f my downloads work neather offline .

i wanna know if its going to be fixed still i was happy with the service now its going down .

I see a lot of people are posting their lifetime account that cost more than other accounts worked fine for a long time. Now I can't login and they are not responding to my service request.

I would have liked to give a zero star rating if that was possible. My lifetime account worked exceptionally well for a very long time until they started to "upgrade" (read DEGRADE). When I could log in, I either could not find my files or, if I found them, I could not even download my own files let alone files of friends. The new black screen with white lettering is very hard to read and the screen tends to shiver and shake like it has a case of the DTs. For the past 2 months I have been unable to log in at all. Customer service does not exist as such. I had to take out a short term subscription with another company while waiting for the problems to be fixed. I may end up abandoning FileFactory for good but that would mean losing many gigabytes of my own files. Maybe all these unresolved issues are their way or getting rid of those of us with lifetime memberships?

I have been using FileFactory for Many years with a "Lifetime" subscription. They no longer recognize my sign in. they have downgraded my account to a Free member for no reason at all. I notice they don't even Offer a Lifetime membership anymore. Site used to be great, but a total bust anymore.

I have been with them for years, but since the "upgrade" (I use that term loosely) to the new design it sucks! No answer from support, can't even login now. Seems the owners have run off with everyone's money! STAY AWAY
