Another downloader which drains your data!

I was through 1.8GB of downloading an 1.9GB file and waited 6 or 7 hours before there was some 'network issue' and so it wanted me to try again. Thanks a million for the lost data, time and cost to me!

This is to replace my previous review as Katfile flagged it for containing harmful or illegal content! The review was left on 4/1/25 but apparently I cannot say this now.

Perhaps this is another scam to remove reviews as I've had others do this after a year or so. It's shameful of Trustpilot to allow companies to abuse this loophole.

Why has the daily download limit been reached? I haven't downloaded anything yet.

Loads of rubbish pops up, impossible to download any file, only worked around it by firing up F12 debugger and removing all those rubbish UI elements.

This is the worst service I've ever used. Very slow, and support is super bad. Not recommended at all!

I’ve been using Katfile as a storage platform for my website since 2022. At first, it seemed promising, but I soon encountered issues when my files were deleted due to a 3-month inactivity rule, meaning no downloads in that period. I had to re-upload those expired files, which was frustrating given the large number of files involved. This cycle of uploading, deletion, and re-uploading became exhausting, so I stopped using Katfile.

Not long after, I received an email from a Katfile administrator claiming they had extended the file storage duration and encouraged me to return. I agreed to give it another try, but the experience was still terrible. My files continued to be deleted, with Katfile claiming there were no downloads, which was untrue—my website consistently had thousands of daily downloads. I became convinced Katfile was being dishonest and unwilling to properly store my clients’ files, so I abandoned the platform again.

About three months ago, another Katfile administrator emailed me, stating they had increased the file storage duration to one year and invited me to return. It sounded promising, but it was even worse—my files were deleted in less than a month after I resumed using the platform.

Additionally, I’ve earned over $300 through Katfile, but I haven’t received a single cent. All my payments were supposed to be processed via PayPal, and while Katfile claims the money was sent, nothing has ever appeared in my PayPal account.

As of today, I’m thoroughly disappointed with Katfile and want to warn others against using it to earn money. I strongly recommend choosing a more reliable platform that offers better file storage duration and trustworthy payment processing.

this is genuinely the worst premium filehost i've ever use and encounter. i paid for premium but can't even download past 1mbps lol. whoever buy lifetime premium was hit on the head.

I just open a new account, and add some files from a friend account, and i thought it is worth to purchase an plan for 30day premium account for to test it out. which i purchased. then I logout the account because stepping alway from the computer. when i got back and try to login again.. it said my password was incorrect.

after 5 times i try to logo it . it blocked my account. and it say i change pw too many times, the account will let me in after 30days. I meant whats going on??? !!
I just apply for a 30days plan and you block me out for 30days .? i send alot of email to unlock ! but no one reply at all. !

I will keep sending to all media until i apply to log in again>!

Are these people crazy?

Katfile has suddenly (last two days) throwing up blocking screens that stop you from getting a download, sprouting rubbish like "You have to press allow to continue". There is no such button so it lets you start again only to find out it's thrown you into a 2 hour wait for the next download attempt. I have to wonder how any behaviour this stupid will generate traffic through the site. I will tick the "Let Katfile know ..." button but they ignore every comment- their last forum entry is dated 2017.
