long story short. i specifically booked a under the impression that luggage was included , i even have screenshots displaying that it is included via british airways. i arrive at the airport on the return flight and i was told thsat mu luggage wasnt included, BA said it was an expedia issue and expedia wont accept responsibility or refund me even though BA said they should . wasted 170euros for this. for 15 years i have used expedia booking package flights. now ill at a stretch book a hotel but never a flight again.

I purchased a round trip flight and the flight guarantee through Expedia, for my nephew to come visit. Something came up and he had to go back a week early. No problem I thought, glad I got the protection. WRONG. Because he "used half his ticket" and flew here, Delta would not honor a change, and Expedia (after an hour and a half hold bounce and hold) gave me $90 towards a new ticket, "if" Delta would honor it. They did. However, the protection was $45, and the flight was $250. Then I was charged another $300+ for the new flight. I should've just got the one way and dealt with the return later. It would've been much cheaper and no hassle. But now I know get the protection straight from the airline if you're going to get it. Expedia's protection is worthless.

They have NO customer support. They do not even respond to their facebook messages when "emergency" is mentioned in the text. They confuse their accounts with their partner's vrbo, and neither have accesdible customer support.

Today Saranya provided me with excellent customer service. I had questions about a dollar amount credit I received from United Airlines after having to cancel my travel plans earlier this year. She was able to answer all my questions and went beyond to give me all the information I needed. Thank you, Saranya!

Vi havde booket en husbåd i Prag med 3 overnatninger. Hvis vi kunne give 0 stjerner ville det være realistisk. Der var beskidt og spindelvæv overalt både ind-og udvendigt.
TV’et var ude af drift.
Internettet var ude af drift.
Der var kun varmt vand til 2 personer. Vi var 6 personer
Et vindue var utæt
Vi kontaktede udlejer efterfølgende omkring ovennævnte, men de er ikke vendt tilbage.
Dårlig service og alt for dyrt ift. kvaliteten!

I booked a round-trip through Expedia. My return trip flight was canceled so I called them to reschedule. We agreed on flights and time and she said I would email confirmation in 24 to 72 hours. Four days later I had to call their automated system to me my confirmation. It was then that I realized that Expedia had my first leg of the trip on Saturday and the second leg of the trip Sunday. I had to argue with them that I was not spending the night in the airport because they couldn’t figure it out after a 40 minute phone call. I think they may have fixed it but not really sure at this point. Also during the 40 minute phone call, there were at least a half a dozen people talking and laughing in the background. Very unprofessional this is the first and last time I will ever use Expedia. I really am afraid that when I get to the airport that I won’t have any confirmed flights.

This is for both Motel 6 and Expedia. I tried to book it for 04/28 at 0100 am so I can go into a room and sleep. I asked the clerk prior to booking with Expedia about the date and whether I could get a room right now and he wasn’t sure. He seemed like he was being inconvenienced doing his job. Once, I booked a room I found it was for 3pm and he said he didn’t have a way to change it so I had to contact Expedia to change it. This would have taken a lot more time than I wanted to simply get a hotel to sleep especially since it takes a while to use Expedia to get a room let alone trying to get my money back. I decided to cancel the reservation and pay cash which is more expensive and now I have to wait for my refund. Clerk should have known before booking. Clerk unconcerned about stay and difficulty getting room. I tried to open the door by moving the handle downward, but it wouldn't open. I asked the clerk who moved it upward and the door opened. He should have said something about how to open the door even before he gave me the keys and also noticed I was extremely upset by his indifference. Definitely less than 1 star. I saw that it was 2 stars before I booked at Motel 6, but I've stayed here before so I knew it was a stay worth my time and money. Definitely less than 1 star or less!

Do not use Expedia to book a vacation package. I have a screenshot of the Expedia confirmation page stating right next next to the price "resort fees included". When I got to the hotel I was charged $500 in resort fees. They will not refund me this amount. After much lip service promising to resolve the issue I was told in a nutshell that Marriott states in there small print that there are resort fees. They have no answer for me when I asked how they can legally print "resort fees included" next to the final price and then place blame on the hotel the package was booked with. Basically, it makes it look like you are getting a good deal by booking flights and lodging together when they do this. I wish I would have checked Trust Pilot before booking. I see I am not the only one who has been taken by this company. Lesson learned.

Vi er meget utilfredse. Vi opdagede en bookingfejl efter 9 timer, men fik ikke lov til at rette den uden at betale fuldt igen. Ændring til en ny dato blev endnu dyrere. Det er urimeligt og føles som snyd.

My last two trips booking thru Expedia have been terrible. If there is any glitch in your travel there is no way to get help to make changes an they charge you regardless. My first trip the flight was diverted and had to stay overnight on another city. Tried to call them while on tarmac and they couldn’t help. Ended up paying two nights hotel bdd red cause o couldn’t get the and car rental I was charged the extra day based on the estimated arrival time I gave instead of when plane arrived. The second trip I was booking hotel for a last minute stey where there were no rooms available in the town except one hotel. When I booked it Expedia changed date from what I had put in. When I got to hotel they didn’t have my booking. Clerk and I both tried to contact Expedia to no avail and I had to book a second room. I then tried to cancel figure booking again to no avail and was not refunded so had to pay over $500 for a comfort inn low end hotel room. Cancelling my account as they are not staffed to handle travel changes.

NUNCA contratéis servicios con Expedia, hice una reserva de un alojamiento y todo correcto en un principio, tenía la reserva confirmada por Vrbo, y Expedia.
Pues al cabo de 1 mes, días antes de mi viaje el anfitrión me añade un nuevo pago de 250€!!! Y me dice que lo pague o cancele la reserva, ni Expedia ni Vrbo me han dado una solución, voy a contactar con la Cec o denunciar esta extorsión.

Havde købt og betalt rejse t/r med bagage. Måtte selv punge ud. Expedia tager ingen ansvar. Brug andre selskaber eller forvent ekstra udgifter forbundet med din rejse.

Har lige fået verdens bedste service af Josefine hos Expedia! Det hele startede med at mine CC kort blev misbrugt og jeg fik nye, troede jeg kunne opdatere kortet på Hotels.com app, det kunne jeg ikke - ringede jeg til hotellet i London for ikke at miste reservationen. De kunne ikke hjælpe når det var booket gennem App!. Så skulle jeg ringe til Expedia for at få hjælp, " her vil jeg sige" det kræver at man bliver meget stædig og bliver ved for deres "mekaniske telefon dame" er meget uduelig. Blev smidt af 2 gange. Men kom endelig igennem til en Meget sød og forstående Josefine der først hjalp med at få fat i hotellet, og med at undgå at prisen blev ændret, ved at få hotellets manager til at forstå, ( på 40.99 GBP.) at det ikke var min skyld at man ikke kan ændre kreditkort på App.
Så hvis man kan indstille hende til ugens medarbejder, så skal hun have al den ros herfra man kan give.
Men ændre nu jeres telefon modtager så man kan komme igennem, tror der er mange der bliver fly forbandet over at først kan man ikke få hjælp på App og bagefter heller ikke komme igennem til en person!

Pagamento immediato subito conferma prenotazione . 11/8 nuova conferma prenotazione con Vrbo e numero di telefono dell 'Host. partiamo tranquilli ma arrivati sul posto la struttura è occupata, l 'Host dichiara di non sapere nulla di Expedia o Vrbo. Chiamiamo al telefono i numeri dell' assistenza ma non riceviamo risposte,ti rimandano da un numero all' altro e poi cessa la comunicazione . Costretti a rientrare in sede. Inviamo mail e chiediamo rimborso e risarcimento danni per il viaggio . Il rimborso è arrivato ma per quanto riguarda il risarcimento le mail di risposta sono prodotte uguali in automatico e ai numeri di telefono non risponde nessuno. Non pagare una penale per il danno subito è ingiusto. EVITARE EXPEDIA E I SUOI AFFILIATI

Cobro de impuestos que estaban "incluidos" según la tarifa que reservé. Llegando al hotel me cobran los impuestos locales siendo que ya estaban incluidos al momento de reservar. Hice un reclamo por servicio al cliente y me dicen que los impuestos incluidos eran los "impuestos a la venta" por su tarifa. Publicidad engañosa en su máxima expresión. Nunca más usaré sus servicios falsos

Er lige kommet hjem fra ferie ved Gardasøen. Planen var at vi skulle køre i bil hele vejen, men grundet sygdom blev planerne ændret til flyrejse bestilt gennem Expedia i sidste øjeblik. For at holde omkostningerne nede, valgte vi at rejse med 1 mellemlanding hver vej. Jeg havde 2 gange før rejsen, spørgsmål jeg for yderligere forklaring på. 2 gange kontaktede jeg kundeservice, begge gange kom jeg igennem til en medarbejder indenfor 2 min. Og begge gange var det søde og servicemindede medarbejdere jeg talte med, og som med det samme kunne forklare/besvare mine spørgsmål. Jeg har været tilfreds med Expedia og vil bruge dem igen næste gang.

Bestilte bil i USA samme dag som vi ville afsted. Da vi kom til dollar car rental som samarbejder med Expedia, fik jeg af vide, at jeg ikke kunne få udleveret bilen da jeg havde bestilt bilen med et debit kort (kræver bestilling 24 timer før) og da jeg hentede bilen netop på det tidpunkt jeg havde bestilt kunne jeg ikke få mine penge tilbage selvom jeg ikke fik bilen udleveret - afhentningstidspunktet var overskredet. Expedia har et system som tillader at man kan betale for bilen selvom man de ved at man ikke kan leje bilen indenfor 24 timer. Hold jer væk, det er super bureaukratisk at arbejde med.
