No email, no notification, no message about info for my refund. Nothing. I eventually managed to talk to an agent on the website and I'm supposed to get refund in 30 days.

Vi havde 2 flybilletter, hvoraf den ene skulle refunderes og den anden ombookes.
Først Judith som ikke kan forstå hvad der bliver sagt i telefonen og booker en anden flybillet (som der skal udleveres kortoplysninger til, hvilket også er helt absurd at man skal gøre over telefonen, fordi deres link til dette ikke fungere), for derefter at først at fralægge sig alt ansvaret og herefter indrømme at hun har lavet en fejl men kan dog ikke gøre noget ved det andet end at komme med anbefalinger, også blev der lagt på. Der bliver ringet op til Poul som er ubehøvlet af en anden verden og taler ekstremt ned til min kæreste (kvinde), han vil ikke tro på at fejlen ligger hos dem. Virkelig respektløst over hele linjen, amatører af en anden verden!!!

I had a terrible experience with Expedia and I want to warn other travelers.
I drove 10 hours from Orlando to Greenville, SC to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. I booked a room through Expedia at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham. When we arrived, the room was dirty. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower, and the tiles looked like they had glue coming out of them.
I asked to change rooms, but the second room had a broken lamp and smelled like rotten milk. It was unacceptable.
I called Expedia multiple times for help, but they told me there was nothing they could do. The hotel told me to call Expedia because I booked through a third party, and Expedia said they couldn’t help me either. In the end, I lost $290 and had nowhere to stay. I had to sleep in my car that night.
Very disappointing customer service. Be careful when booking with Expedia. When something goes wrong, they may not help you.
Absolute bunch of crooks
Absolute bunch of crooks. Hired a van for the same day from Enterprise via Expedia. Enterprise rang me shortly after I made the booking saying they had no vehicles available, and that they could cancel the booking at their end, and I had to get Expedia to contact them to confirm it was their fault, so I would be eligible for a refund. Attempted to get a refund via Expedia, and they spouted nonsense that I didn’t meet the booking criteria, so am not eligible for a refund. Furthermore they have rejected any feedback from myself stating the case is closed, and when prompted for a complaints email address or process, said they can’t and terminated the chat. Shame TrustPilot doesn’t allow you to do 0/5!

Tried to rent a car though them, they connected me with a provider that doesn't rent cars to people in the same state. They have no safeguards or guard rails on their site to prevent this.
PAACKAGE HOLIDAY DESTROYED
I booked a package holiday through allholidays.uk (powered by Expedia). DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, NO ONE WILL HELP YOU!
They are only ATOL Protected, not ABTA protected. My holiday went wrong from the time of booking. They failed to provide me with my ATOL certificate, my receipt or and details surrounding my booking. It was a miracle I actually had my holiday 6 months later. They cancelled 2 days of my booking 2 months before I travelled. I spent hours on the phone trying to rearrange the 2 days they'd cancelled, they wanted me to pay extra for the privilege. When I got off the plane and travelled to my hotel, I found out they had cancelled all of my accommodation, I was left stranded, I was tired, distraught, devestated. I'd been in the air 15 hours. When I tried calling and asking for help they said, that'll be another £5000. I'd already paid £6000.
I had to use my spending money to find alternative accommodation.
3.5 days of packing bags and moving hotels as I couldn't secure accommodation for the full 12 days.
Four days into my holiday, I suddenly received a refund for the accommodation they'd cancelled. No explanation. No apology for ruining my wedding anniversary, Christmas or New Year celebrations.
I'm still battling now for compensation for loss of enjoyment, they just don't want to know.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Vi har købt flybilletter fra Marseille til Kastrup i august igennem Expedia og forsikring til 5285kr d.17/4 2026 i god tid for at være sikker på at der var fly, d. 19/12 2025 får vi en mail om at vores flybilletter er flytter 5,5 time frem så vi ikke kan nå det da vores cruice skib er i havn kl 9.00 og vores fly er bestilt til kl 14.45 og nu flyttet frem til kl. 9.00. Vi har skrevet 9 mail til expedia og har intet hørt fra dem.

be aware that if you want to change your ticket and you're not comfortable with international transactions, you risk losing all your money, even if there are several months before your trip!
If you call the company, you won't get any help whatsoever! On the contrary, it seems like they're deliberately trying to scam unsuspecting customers and deny them their rights if they make a mistake when booking.
In short, all they do is tell you to buy a new ticket!
This means that the ticket whose date you accidentally tried to change is lost, and therefore Expedia can resell it!
It's important to note that Expedia only resolves the issue with the airline shortly before departure. Therefore, Expedia doesn't lose anything; on the contrary, they have the opportunity to resell the ticket.
I find this unacceptable and real sheeting agency that I don’t recommend to anyone to be engaged in these kinds of dubious practices of Expedia tricks,,,big shame

Utterly useless, booked a trip, flights and accommodation for next August , the accommodation sent message that there was no availability and that Expidia had booked in error, Expidia have already taken the money and then told us they tried to reconfirm (which we didn't ask them to do) and there was nothing they could do, no mention or offer of a refund or any attempt to find alternative accommodation.
Communication is all by email and "chat" and appears to be mostly AI generated
My advice is DO NOT USE Expidia.

Avoid like the plague. I paid over £600 FOR HOTEL BOOKING when due to unforeseen circumstances I needed to change my dates, I contacted them numerous times but long story short they were unable to change dates and kept my money under their no refund policy. this is the biggest rip off I've ever experienced. Far better dealing with a reputable company rather that this shower. Their call service is based in India so communication can be difficult. Do yourself a favour and do your research because this company will keep your money. I worked hard for this holiday and lost over £600 . Buyer beware

Very poor experience with Expedia
Very poor experience with Expedia. Their website and agent confirmed that breakfast was included in my booking, yet the reservation they sent to the property was “room only.” I was forced to pay again for something that was clearly advertised as included.
What made it worse was the customer service. I provided screenshots, chat transcripts, and proof of the mistake, but kept receiving emails from different representatives asking me to repeat the same information. No consistency, no ownership, and no resolution.
This feels like misleading advertising and terrible customer service. I will think twice before booking with Expedia again.

All I can say is that Expedia lied to me and took me for $1.500. No customer service. Made me pay $348 fee in order to receive my refund. Signed a DocuSign and even got a confirmation for refund number. They now say nothing. It just disappeared.

Booked flight from Sydney to Seattle…
Booked flight from Sydney to Seattle with Expedia using Air Canada. Air Canada cancelled all flights due to industrial dispute. Trying to get refund, Expedia say they can’t get refund as Air Canada have wiped ticket information, Air Canada won’t deal with me direct as I booked via Expedia. Shambolic customer service, cannot get a reply off anyone on the phone just a chat bot, I would never advise using Expedia for flight bookings, go direct to the airline as Expedia are no help when it goes wrong and they have your money
