Horrible Quality, Customer Service Not Helpful
We have an Electrolux dishwasher which is just 2 years old and the buttons on the top control panel are cracking. The quality of product is terrible and their customer service does not respond to quality issues, only want to sell me a new part. Don't buy Electrolux.
Failures with electrolux
I remodeled my kitchen 7 years ago, and chose electrolux appliances because I thought they were higher quality. My French Door refrigerator would not keep consistent temperatures, so after 2 or 3 service calls I demanded a new refer, which I have had for 6 years, but often freezes items with temp set at 37. The control panel on the door side stopped working, no light, no temps shown, just stays black, can’t be reset. My convection microwave door latch failed early on, and now is on its third handle, cheap plastic components crack and break, pain in the ass to replace. The spark igniter on my gas range is no longer working on my favorite burner, not sure I can replace it myself. Thank God my overpriced DW is OK, but then again I only use it once a month or so since I am typically cooking for only 1 or 2 people and wash dishes by hand. The only bright spot is with 3 or my 4 Electrolux machines needing service, I will only need to pay for one house call to fix 3 appliances. Meanwhile, my cheap Frigidaire upright freezer has been running constantly for 40+ years, never had a service call, and my first Kenmore W&D lasted 35 years. Let’s hear it for technology.
Do not buy Electrolux appliances
Do not buy Electrolux appliances, the quality is terrible and they are riddled with issues. This is our 2nd home with Electrolux washer and dryers, and we've had issues and now have learned our lesson. The dryer had to be replaced within one week of install due to a faulty drum (loud banging noise when you run it). Now the problem is happening again and we are outside the 1 year warranty, and Electrolux has told us there is nothing they can do. Don't buy their products, they are low quality and customer service is well below par.
BUYER BEWARE WITH ELECTROLUX!!!
I bought a Frigidaire dehumidifier from Walmart on 03/04/2024 and it was delivered 03/06/2024. I used the unit intermittently from March till about the middle of May then started using it continuously until I found out the unit was no good due to freezing coils on 06/13/2024. I only used the unit continuously for three or four weeks and the coils start to freeze which has to be a new record for dehumidifiers. Electrolux refused to refund my money but offered to send a replacement unit that would pick up with the same warranty I had when I purchased the original unit which means with the replacement the warranty will run out 03/06/2025. I sent Electrolux all the required paperwork for the replacement unit on 07/07/2024 and the email said I should receive the new replacement unit within 10 days. Also, on 07/12/2024 I received confirmation the warranty had been approved and I should be receiving shipping instructions within 5 days. I waited more than 5 days and called their customer service on 07/19/2024 and was told that it would be another 7 to 10 days giving absolutely no reason as to why the delay even though I asked. Then on 07/25/2024 I called again asking where my replacement unit was and was told again that it would be another 7 to 10 days giving absolutely no reason as to why the delay even though I asked again. I knew at this point I was being told nothing but a lie and Electrolux had no intention of sending me a replacement unit. Electrolux has gone past any time frame that they set to get me the replacement unit and to get any information from their pathetic customer service is a joke. Electrolux is just trying to run out the clock on my warranty so that they can say the warranty is legitimately out of date or give me no time to see if the replacement unit is an absolute piece of trash like the initial dehumidifier I got. It should be illegal to sell such junk to a consumer. Your company can't even honor its own warranty it seems.

Bought a 5 year warranty through electrolux 4 months ago after our Frigidaire window unit compressor went out after 1 year. Sent all receipts, model and serial numbers via email many times. After talking with many people you can't understand finally got a confirmation number. We will get an email around 7to10 days. Never happened Talking to many people again finally got another confirmation from them and will get an email 7to10 days. Never happened. Clincher is they finally said after reading it to me the model number we sent them didn't match what they had on file. ITS A BIG SCAM.

I will never do business with Electrolux again. Unfortunately I am stuck with their product. Their customer service sucks! Their customer service department is obviously not in the US! Agents keep repeating information after you tell them what’s going on. They are not listening! Reading from a prepared statement obviously. Avoid them at all costs!! Save your money! They don’t work with you at all.

We purchase an electrolux induction stove and after a few months it stopped working. They sent a technician to check the issue. The technician’s diagnosis was surprising: he claimed this model is a cheap and weak one, designed mainly for bachelors to cook occasionally, and not intended for everyday use, which was not mentioned in the product description as far as I recall.
The technician also suggested that I buy a new set of pans, as sometimes old pans stop working, and that the pans must be the right size for the hob. I did buy new pan, tried again and the problem is the same. When I contact again the customer support, they said they can't do anything because their technician's report mention all is good from their side (who am I to complain about a defective product!!!???)
Terrible company and product - Electrolux.
Well, this garbage company gets 1 star because you can't give it a zero. We did a homeowner remodel and replaced all kitchen appliances with Electrolux, heavily dissuaded by the salesman from buying KitchenAid (I assume Electrolux pays sales kick backs way better than manufacturing or standing behind their products).
We have a different brand dishwasher, microwave, and soon to have a new refrigerator after their bogus products failed twice.
Just search Electrolux class action lawsuits to know what a garbage company this is. But they'll still have your money.
We will NEVER do business with Electrolux again
The freezer we purchased is continuously leaking in one of my clients vacation homes. It is leaking from a very specific spot in the back. We have had two local appliance repairmen come out for them to tell us it is not something that can be repaired. We reached out Electrolux's repair tech and received the same answer. Per the tech from Electrolux this is due to a faulty unit. It is no fault of the homeowner, who has never moved this freezer and has only used it minimally due to it being in a vacation home. We were told by the tech to contact customer service so we did. I spoke with Tonichi but under the chat box it said Jose. So I am unsure which person I was actually speaking with. In no uncertain terms, I was told because it is no longer under the manufacturer warranty I was out of luck and needed to have the homeowner purchase a new one. While I understand it is out of the manufacturer's warranty by client was sold a faulty unit. I lemon in the freezer world if you will. The freezer is less than two years old and essentially a paper weight at this point and all Electrolux and it's dutiful employees can offer us is a "Sorry. Not our problem." I have never experienced such a nonchalant attitude from a company we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with. The mountains of North Carolina will NEVER have another Electrolux product in their homes again.
AVOID ANY Electrolux products, including AEG
Electrolux Group which includes AEG are a terrible company their goods are shoddy. A £2000 fridge/freezer less than 3 years old has stopped working and is rusty and rotting. The manufacturing fault was reported soon after purchase, the advice given was to change my cleaning product. After soldiering on it has packed up completely. AEG have written it off and offered the insulting sum of £89 refund!!!! Despite acknowledging that the fault is a manufacturing fault with this particular appliance. The CEO Jonas Samuelson doesn't respond to emails. Do not buy any Electrolux product.
Update - I am being offered a discount on a new AEG fridge/freezer - unbelievable!

The first representative I spoke to was unable to figure out how to have a different billing and shipping address and she told me that there was no way to do it. So she made the order anyway incorrectly.
The next rep told me they would cancel that order and make a new order.
Long story short I spoke to 7 reps through phone and chat and I was hung up on, I was given an incredibly RUDE tone and attitude, if you still have an option please go anywhere else for service!!

The reviews are true. Electrolux has some of the worst customer service policies and operations I’ve experienced as a customer.
First average wait times can span nearly 60 minutes. Second, their online purchasing experience is sorely in need of improvement.
Let me explain. I know I selected installation and haul away as part of my purchase. When the delivery team came, they said neither installation nor haul away was included. Furthermore, the washer arrived damaged and I did not accept it.
I called Electrolux and waited 52 minutes to speak with someone. When I connected with a rep and explained the situation, he said that there was little he could do because the order didn’t that installation or hail away. Moreover, they couldn’t tell me when I would get a replacement washer. Mind you it took me three weeks to get my first delivery from the time I made the purchase online.
I cannot stress enough how unhelpful Electrolux was. I will it purchase their products again. I will tell my friends and family, frankly anyone who listens, to avoid them. Your brand reputation is only as good as the service you provide to your customers. Lots of companies make good products. Not many make customers want to come back and spend more.

to be clear they did offer an appointment but it is for an old address in a state I no longer live in for appliances I no longer own. Since my phone # is the same their system will not allow any changes to be made.
I can not get service for the new correct address, the same address the appliances were delivered to.
I have asked repeatedly to change the address and the model # and the serial number and I am told it is not possible.
Hence the service call is going to a home I have not lived in in 10 yrs. At least the service provided will get paid for the drive there.
Once this appointment is completed I will have to try all over again for another service appointment this time maybe someone will figure out I no longer live at this address
Purchased my electolux dryer series 6…
Purchased my electolux dryer series 6 on Mar. 17 at Costco.ca. My dryer stop spinning technician came and open the dryer and saw the belt is broken 😡. It’s only been 1 year. Good thing I bought it from Costco and bought extra 3 years warranty so I don’t have to worry about paying for parts and service, but what I’m pissed off is the hassles, I can’t dry the clothes. I bought this brand because of all the good reviews I’ve found online. I guess it’s all lies 😫. I had LG for many years, but the problem always exist after 5 years then buy a new one cause it’s more expensive to fix. I change the brand knowing it will solve my problems, but this Electrolux already have problem after 1 year is insane. I guess the bottom line is there is no better brand anymore they only make the appliances good for a maximum 5 years so people just keep buying and manufacturer keeps making money 💰😩.

Electrolux are terrible to deal with. Have had the worst experience with a warranty claim. They have dragged it out over a very long period of time. Every time I call, the person is helpful and says they will follow up my case but never do. Never ever had an email replied to. My stove top is now nearly out of warranty and I still don't have a working top. They are so dodgy it is just beyond belief. Wish they could be held accountable
Dishonest Managers, Supervisors, and Customer Service Representatives
The customer service reps, supervisors, and managers that I spoke with are very dishonest. I called because the refrigerator was not working and was under warranty. Over and over they told me that the warranty was not valid. Eventually they acknowledged the validity of the warranty and agreed the repair was for them to cover.
They then told me to have my own technician do the initial inspection to decide what parts needed replacement. I told the supervisor who was on the phone telling me to use my own technician that the warrantee stated that their technician was the one who needed to decide this and that my technician will charge me. She said they would pay for my technician to do the initial inspection.
When I submit the bill to Electrolux as per the instruction given to me, I was given a "work order" number for my technician to be paid. My technician was not paid as I was later told that the number given to me was a reference number only.
Months of emailing and talking to supervisors, managers, and escalation representatives resulted in only lies from them all. No one called back as they all faithfully promised to do. No one now wants to admit I was told that they will pay my technician. I have names and badge numbers, times and dates of many of the conversations where I was promised they would listen to the voice recording and confirmed what I was told. No one has called back; not even to say I was wrong. They promised that if the recording confirmed what I said they would pay the technician. The technician was never paid by them. They have never called or emailed me.
A company is only as good as the people who represent them. The quality of the appliance may not be the best. Appliances will indeed fail at times; but it is how the company deals with the customers that will make or break the experience.
I am sad to say that I will likely never buy another of their products due to the customer representatives, supervisors and managers that I dealt with. Lying never looks good on anyone.
Worst online store experience EVER at Electrolux Portugal
I had the worst experience of *my life* with an online purchase at Electrolux Portugal. I bought a blender, but it arrived damaged. They sent another one, but it was damaged. The process started in November and they still haven't returned my money! They didn't even come to get the second blender! They haven't responded to emails since December 27th, it's January, and their support is desperation-inducing and useless. I just wanted a blender, I'm left without my money so far. I'm about to report it to the authorities. I'm not exaggerating: AVOID this brand.
Dishonest and inept runaround - find your own technician for appliance service!!!
I'm giving Electrolux customer service 1 star because it's not possible to give less. Although the customer service staff are friendly, I've been calling for 6 months and still have no resolution to my issue. I've been charged for two repair visits, although the second technician said the first technician had misdiagnosed the problem and he couldn't fix the machine. It turned out to be a plumbing issue. I'm happy to pay for the first technician visit - I requested it. But I've paid for both appointments and been told that, unless I can show evidence that the problem wasn't resolved, they won't return the payment for the second visit. I'm expected to provide them documentation of their service (or lack thereof)! Incredible! Now I've been promised a copy of the repair record, but I've been promised follow-up every time I've called, and it simply doesn't happen. I've never been ripped off and misguided to this degree - find someone else to manage the repair of your Electrolux appliance! I truly wish I'd just found a local technician myself.
