Front load washer Model ELFW7637AT1 is a piece of junk. After 5 months it made a loud noise. They came out and said some screws were loose. Now my machine is 15 months old and noise is back. Now they say it is the shocks and out of warranty. Over $600 to repair and new machine is $900. Never buy Electrolux products.
Paid for a Repair That Was Never Completed. Frustrating Customer Service, No Resolution
I paid Electrolux/Frigidaire for an out-of-warranty cooktop repair, and the process has been a frustrating mess from start to finish and I still don’t have a cooktop over a month later.
They took my payment and sent a technician who confirmed the part needed replacement, then assured me it would arrive within 7–10 business days. It never did. Over the next month, I spent hours on the phone trying to get updates, only to receive conflicting information and empty assurances. The part still never arrived, and without notice, they issued a partial refund while keeping part of my payment—despite never completing the repair.
Their customer service has been unhelpful, slow, and dismissive, with no clear point of escalation or accountability. I have had to file a BBB complaint and dispute the remaining charge with my credit card company just to protect myself, all while being without a working cooktop for over a month.
I understand delays happen, but the lack of communication, poor organization, and refusal to take responsibility for their own repair program is unacceptable. I hope they improve how they handle customers who are simply asking for the service they paid for. Ive felt completely ignored and absolutely powerless to resolve my issue. Absolutely awful and stressful experience. I would avoid at all costs.
Electrolux refuses to install its products
I have bought an Electrolux clothes dryer from an online store in Israel. The shipping service was terrible and the importer Mini Line Ltd. refuses to install the dryer in my home — in violation of local regulations and of the manufacturer’s own instructions to its distributors. An e-mail message to the CEO in Sweden, Yannick Fierling, was read but ignored.
A joke of a company
The freezer for my 2 year old fridge stopped working, it turned out to be the compressor. That was more than a month ago, since then the fridge stopped working completely, more than 2 weeks ago now. Their customer service is completely useless, they tried to blame it on the repair company, even when the piece has to come from them as they are the manufacturer. Apparently they are still waiting for the piece to arrive... for more than 5 weeks now. In the mean time we had to spend our own money and buy a small fridge, and still waiting... Worst experience ever.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Two weeks ago they scheduled for a repair technician to fix my broken dual ovens. They scheduled from 0800-5:00 PM, at 8:56 AM I received an email from Electrolux "Confirming" my appointment. At 1044 a person called to say they have no repair technicians in my area and that they are rescheduling me for 10 July!!!!!!!! They are LIARS and have the WORST Customer Service in the industry. AVOID ELECTROLUX THEY ARE LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I own a Frigidaire double door refrigerator with bottom freezer. I had the Electrolux extended warranty on it. The refrigerator part stopped getting cold but the freezer worked. I contacted Electrolux and they had a service company come out. The service co replaced part after part but the retrig did not work. After over two months the wanted me to let them try other things rather than making a decision to give me a prorated refund. Living without a retrig that long was horrible. I finally went out and purchased a new retrig. The point being it was totally unreasonable to have someone live without a retrig for over two months. Not happy with them and their decision process. Let me add that this was a Frigidaire refrigerator freezer. The extended warranty was through Electrolux or should i say Electronoluck!

Absolutely the most horrible experience…
Absolutely the most horrible experience I could have ever possibly dreamt. The delivery process was an absolute nightmare. The machine is not what is advertised at all. Everything is wet all the time. You will never get a dry dish ever. It is so incredibly hot that the cutlery in the adjoining drawer is constantly hot when this machine is on. It is incredibly small in the inside. It has way more plastic parts than it advertises. Stay away from this. It is a waste of time and energy and it is more expensive than other ones that are actually a lot better.

I bought a stacking washer and dryer and after 6 months it stopped draining. It was still under warranty. A technician from the company they use to handle repairs came out fairly quickly only to say he needed another helper as this machine needed to be put on its back to get access. Ok I wat a week and no info. I call and electrolux has not confirmed second helper i have been told by repair company. they say call electrolux. I call electrolux and they say you have to call the repair company. I call repair company again and they say this is often a proble with ectrolux and it could take 4 weeks or more for electrolux to confirm. So company says if you agree to pay the 109 for the extra helper they will do repair right away. Lets see what happens. Went on chatgpt and checked about electrolus service record and it was horrible as it is here. They said LG has great repair service. Will never buy another electrolux machine of any kind and neither should you.
Stay Away From Electrolux
Purchased a Electrolux 32in fridge and 32in freezer in 2021. After 4 years the fridge needs $2000 worth of repairs. Paid $1900 new in 2021. I now have a 32in paper weight.
Stay away from Electrolux, these things are a piece of crap. I'm sticking with LG from now on.
Do NOT Honour Warranty Service
I am extremely frustrated and upset with Electrolux Canada and Trail Appliances where I purchased the washer/dryer weeks ago. From the onset the dryer made a bit of odd noise, not terribly concerned, but enough not to be saddled with a problem in the future. Called Trail Appliances to schedule a warranty call, but they said they are unwilling to help and phone this number for Electrolux. Called the number and after a ~90 minute wait was able to speak to someone. A few hours later I received an email confirming a date and time for the warranty callout. Needless to say, Electrolux did not deliver, no service tech showed up. 4 hours of our lives wasted. Called Electrolux and they said even though we had a confirmed appointment it is only a placeholder and a service tech (from a separate contracted service company) will call at a later date. Still waiting for that call.
Take your business elsewhere, pay a lot more as high quality vendors would be more willing to (hopefully) to assist the customer.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering directly from Electrolux.
I purchased appliances from Electrolux specifically because the website stated that all required parts for installation were included. That turned out to be misleading. When the installers arrived, they didn’t have the necessary stacking kit or 3-pronged power cord—making installation impossible.
I spent an entire week on the phone with Electrolux customer service. I was repeatedly told the parts had been ordered and sent to RXO, the delivery partner. I called multiple times to confirm, and both Electrolux and RXO assured me the kit was in hand. I even took a full day off work to be available for installation—only to be told by RXO that they never received the parts.
Now, Electrolux claims the stacking kit wasn’t included in my original purchase. This is unacceptable and directly contradicts what I was told by multiple representatives—something clearly documented in the chat transcripts.
Because of this miscommunication, I’ve lost a week without usable appliances, hours on the phone with no resolution, and a full day’s pay. I cannot recommend ordering from Electrolux, and I hope they take accountability and correct this situation immediately.
Electrolux does not care about the customer experience
I bought a Frigidaire induction cooktop (which is an Electrolux brand) because it was rated as reliable.
After 2 weeks, it completely stopped working. Now for the last two weeks I've been trying to get Electrolux to replace it. They won't. They completely refuse. Instead they keep sending an 'authorized service repair person' who doesn't know anything about induction cooktops to 'fix it.'
After 2 visits of a total of 7 hours and 3 different parts ordered, I've now spent as long with a broken non-functioning induction cooktop as I did with a working one. 2 weeks of being able to cook on the inducation cooktop. And 2 weeks of having to cook on our camp stove outside.
And Electrolux doesn't care. They tell me they 'have to follow the process' and keep sending out unknowledgeable repair people to attempt further repairs.

We bought an electrolux(Frigidaire) cooktop in November. It never worked right. After a few calls to their warranty department they sent someone to look at it. A part was replaced and that made it worse. Another part was ordered and took over a month to arrive and when it was put in it didn't help. The service guy said it was probably a lemon and we should ask them to replace it. Electrolux agreed to replace it and said they would email the store and we'd have a new appliance in a few days. Two months and hours of phone calls later, the store has still not received the email even though electrolux claims to have sent it multiple times. Today I googled warranty issues electrolux and found many people who are in the same boat and planning a class action suit. DON'T BUY ELECTROLUX! #Electrolux #Frigidaire #FrigidaireAppliances
Electrolux is terrible
I purchased my first Electrolux washer a few years back and loved it. So we have added to the appliance family. We installed a Frigidaire Professional cooktop a few months ago. The right side most powerful burner is not working properly : PowerBoil doesn't stay, pot takes longer to boil on that burner than the others. Placed a call. Technician said it was intended that way and gave some BS reason and closed the call.
We placed a second call for the same issue, and then a few days later, the unit started to smell like burn rubber, all through the house. Not the burners, but the encasement, that is fully enclosed and is below the burners. We turned off the breaker to avoid fire and placed a call.
SAME technician came back, gave us the BS reason again for the burner, and said he did not smell anything, even though my son and his friend could smell it.
Then wrote to company that it was a user problem.
WTF.
We have not been able to use this unit since March 14, 2025. They keep asking for a video (for the improperly-working burner, not for the burn smell!!!)
We have requested a replacement unit, and a SECOND, DIFFERENT technician, but that has yet to happen.
They keep ghosting us, giving us the run-around, and avoiding the issue.
We will NEVER buy Electrolux again. We also do NOT recommend purchasing this brand.

We have a couple of rental units, so have been mainly purchasing Electrolux appliances, but will NOT be purchasing this brand in the future.
They have lost a very loyal customer, and this ex-loyal customer is sharing their story everywhere.

The Board and Wire Harness went out on our 6 year old dryer. Their customer service was terrible and slow. It took 3 days to get a service person to the house who then didn't have the parts and had to order them. So now we are two weeks without a dryer. Their customer service phone agents had no answers to any of my questions on why the appointment took three days to schedule or why their agents have no parts with them. Complete Trash of a company.

I recently purchased my home with several Electrolux appliances installed in it by builder, but three out of four have failed to function properly from the outset. This has been a deeply disappointing experience, as I expected better quality from such a well-known brand. The products seem poorly manufactured, and the customer service has been ineffective in resolving these issues.
Despite six interactions with customer service, two service visits, and two part replacements, none of the problems have been fixed. While the representatives were polite, their efforts amounted to empty promises rather than practical solutions. Electrolux even suggested I pay for repairs to defective products in my home, which is unacceptable given the high cost of their appliances.
This ordeal has been both frustrating and time-consuming. Electrolux’s lack of accountability and subpar service is alarming. For the price of their products, I expected much better. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other brands that offer higher quality and better support. Unless Electrolux makes significant improvements in both product reliability and customer service, they risk losing consumer trust and market share. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from them.
