Eagle-Eye Tours Arvostelua 

We had a great guide and driver leading a small group (7) of birders. All information given to us by Eagle Eye prior to the tour was reasonably accurate and helpful. The tour was well organized and gave value for the money.

A top-tier experience. Tropical birding at its best. The tour was highly professional, extremely productive for birding, and great fun. The guides must be the best in Central America. Travel, accommodations, and communication were all top notch. An outstanding tour.

This trip went off as planned because it was so well-planned. We stayed in a variety of places and got to see quite a variety of bird life. The guides were so knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I felt well taken care of the entire time. I would recommend this tour to other birders.

The best part of this trip was our excellent guides. Ernesto and Paz found the birds and made sure that we had opportunities to all see them. The bus moved us efficiently from place to place and the accommodation and food were generally excellent. Eagle Eye from start to end kept me informed of changes and details of the trip.

Customer service regarding my trip cancellation claim was excellent! Eagle eye dealt directly with the insurer after my claim was denied, and the claim was eventually approved.

Took a compact bird tour of Trinidad and Tobago with excellent guide Ernesto Carman and local guide Murkesh. Both tried hard and succeeded in showing us the birds of these islands and its other flora and fauna (flowers, butterflies), in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

The accommodations were good, food was good and the size of the group (8) was just right for getting to know each other.
The guides we excellent and we saw many tropical birds. We also got a chance to see savannahs and tropical forests.

The varied habitats and experiences we were offered. Our guides were great birders with wonderful stories and just the best people you could hope to meet.

The highlight of my trip was the company of my fellow travellers - great people, amazing life experiences to share, enthusiasm tenacity and humour throughout a long and at times arduous trip. There were amazing birds, animals and geography to enjoy but this was 99% a birding tour despite being sold as a Wildlife Safari. Our guides were experts at identifying birds and catered well for the experienced birders, but not so much for beginners or those on the trip for ‘wildlife’. Hotels were basic but adequate as there was very little time there - the schedule is overly ambitious and gives no ‘down time’ to assimilate what has been seen or to explore the places stayed in. Due to a strike affecting the National Parks, no hiking was allowed so only one hike on the trip, and many many hours on the bus. One avoidable incident resulting in the death of an animal has tainted my experience of the trip and the company and I would only recommend this trip to avid birders who want to gather as many bird species as possible, otherwise choose a trip with more time to take in the amazing places and scenery you have travelled so long and so far to see.

Six days of excellent birding in the fall birding Mecca of eastern North America. Access to sighting of >150 different species. Access to one of North America's top birder and one who is both genial, competent and driven to provide the best possible experience.

This tour definitely lived up to expectations based on information provided by company.

Tour guides were very knowledgeable of the birds of the Prairies, and worked hard to ensure that participants at all levels had a good experience.

It was an amazing trip. The guides were outstanding and the group was terrific. We had some very skilled birders on the trip as well as one being a biologist so the trip was also very educational. We learned a lot not only about birds but also the flora and fauna of the areas we were visiting. We did see many different birds including many warblers and shorebirds. One of the highlights of course was to see the incredible numbers of snow geese. We had several opportunities to see these magnificent birds from afar in the thousands, close up and in the air. The whalewatching around Tadoussac whether by boat or on land was fantastic. We have never seen so many belugas. We were also fortunate to see a large group of gray seals at sea. All in all a truly great trip.

Tour was two days too long and perhaps not the right time of year for maximum species.

The trip was really good with many exciting birds, very knowledgeable guides and great fellow travelers.

This was a great trip exploring much of Manitoba and its varied ecosystems. The guide as with all Eagle Eye guides was very good Ken was an excellent birder finding many birds for the group and lots of mammals for the non birders.

The eagle-eye tour "High Arctic & Northwest Territories" is an exceptional birding trip. It visits three very diverse biomes: aspen-prairie parkland, boreal forest and high arctic tundra, each with a very different array of bird species. As a result one can easily record over 150 different species. Although the number of different species one can see is enough to qualify it as a successful trip what makes it in my mind an exceptional trip is the quality of the bird sightings. Many of the birds sighted on this years trip were seen posing in ways that showed all their important field markings in spectacular alternate plumage. This was especially true in the high arctic tundra where one could see birds from a mere few meters away posing on rocks, sitting on nests, soaring over the tundra and swimming within a few meters of the road on small tundra ponds. All making for not only exciting bird watching, but also spectacular photography. This was for me not only one of the best birding trips I have ever been on, but also an adventure I will never forget. I highly recommend it for ones next birding trip.

This years trip had 11 birders and two excellent guides. All transportation while birding was either by walking or in vans. Accommodations were of the highest quality.

This tour has given me enough good memories of places, flora and fauna seen to satisfy my long-held wish to really feel I know at least a little of the wonderfully varied province of Newfoundland. East to West, it changed daily in weather and aspect and we learned what lives where, with the exciting prospect of actually seeing them. Not always granted, nature being fickle sometimes, but not for want of trying - our guides were tireless in their efforts to find what we wanted to see and it certainly was not their fault the creatures did not always oblige! I found some of the days long and tiring, in and out of the vans so much, and some dinners ended up being later than I'd have liked, service was slow although always friendly and obliging. I can't recall having any problems with the hotels, they were all perfectly adequate for a night or two and the owners of some the smaller establishments were delightful to chat with. A very important part of any group is the people in it, and with this tour there was nobody I would have wanted excluded, they were all fun to be with and a pleasure to get to know.
