Meeting Expectations
The guides made every effort to locate the species advertised, and considering the unpredictability of birds, they did very well. They promoted friendliness among the group which aided in individual sightings and an enjoyable experience.

The people really made the trip. The guides were so knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour as we stumbled over the unfamiliar bird names. They kept in touch with colleagues so that we could check out good birds in real time. I loved everyone in our group. It was great to be in the company of like minded people for a good period of time. I never felt rushed and we got really good looks at the birds.
There were so many wonderful, colourful birds! The bus driver was fantastic and kept the windows spotless. The accommodations, meals and birding stops were great. I didn’t think about anything but birds and other creatures for a whole trip. The itinerary was well thought out for a worry free trip. Great time. I know I’d love to return to Costa Rica.

Panama has a lot of nature to offer. Our guide Alex was very skillful in finding and pointing out the sights.

Trip was incredibly successful with the number of species seen, and the possible numbers of birds one can add to a Life List. Birding areas were plentiful and easily accessible. Small group allowed easy visibility for everyone. Accommodations and van transportation comfortable. Bird Guide, Alexander (Alex) Alvarado, was professional, personable, high energy, eager to please in all respects, multiple years of experience guiding, quick with his eye, ear, camera and scope.

Ken and Rudolf were absolutely amazing guides. I was able to get 20 life birds in this trip with a great time meeting other birders and seeing new areas.

The expert guides are knowledgeable and friendly and ready to serve almost any request. Getting to see all you want to see may entail much driving by your guide on gravel roads, so do hope for good shocks on the van!

Our personal experience with Eagle-Eye tours was great! Communication from the inquiry stage to the actual tour commencing was excellent! Office staff was very knowledgeable and respond time was quick. They put together a well-planned tour that exceeded our expectations! Will DEFINATELY travel with them again!

It was great because I was surrounded by fun and interesting people. I was given the opportunity to learn about the Maya culture and experience their history. The birds and wildlife were fantastic thanks to our guide’s expertise in finding them and luring them to the open for us to see!!

Great planning, organization and communication.

This trip was extremely well planned to locations which provide excellent birding and great adventures. Ernesto and Paz are extraordinary guides. They are amazing naturalists and superb birders who are thoughtful, patient and attentive to everyone in the group. Their daily planning and care make this trip both comfortable and smooth for all participants. Therefore our birding experiences were fabulous and each day was rewarding personally and culturally.

I think I've taken about ten Eagle Eye tours so obviously I'm a fan. as always great guides who are knowledgeable in many areas of the natural world, make sure every one sees and has a good experience. Eagle eye office staff are also very helpful.

The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about birds. They used spotting scopes and laser pointers to help us see birds in different habitats. A good pair of binoculars is a must for this trip. The main downside was the pace of this tour was too leisurely for an active individual like myself!

Good birding. Good Guides. Good birding companions. Food and accommodation were above average. We really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it.
