Discount Tire Arvostelua 

So disappointing...I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at the Discount Tire in Henderson, NV. off of Windmill Parkway and have been a loyal customer for decades. Recently, something went missing in my vehicle when I got it serviced and I noticed it the same day. I called to make a complaint and the front desk rep at this certain location had a behavior like I was lying or I was making a ridiculous claim. Wow. That will be the last time I ever step foot in their establishment ever again for not taking theft from a customer by their staff with any kind of action. What a jerk. Apparently, he approves of this type of staff behavior. Beware people.

I shopped online. Bought tires online. Could not schedule an install appointment because Discount Tires system refused any and every day I chose. ULTIMATELY TOOK ME A WEEK TO GET TIRES INSTALLED! I had to contact the Regional (Michigan) office to get something done because the local Traverse City store refuses to answer calls. Allows phone to be left on hold till it times out after about 8 minutes. I have been a customer of Discount Tires for at least a couple of decades. NEVER AGAIN!
Oh. And to top it all off. The monkeys who mounted my tires lost one of my TMPS valve stem caps (they have a rubber O-ring internally) and stuck some old, off the floor mismatched POS standard cap on! Nice! Real nice! I'll purchase new ones rather than return to Discount Tire and have to deal with the so called manager, DAVE, a habitual liar! He'd just gaslight me and say it was my fault somehow!

It may not matter to Discount Tire but it sure as hell matters to me!

This place is terrible. High pressure sales. Scare tactics. On line appointments are a joke. I made an on line appointment to have a simple tire balance. Web site says to get there 10 mins before appointment. I get there 15mins before appointment. Takes about 5 mins to get me checked in. I sit down and wait. My name is called. Service advisor comes out we walk out to my truck and start looking at the tires. He tells me that my tires are NOT SAFE! I need new tires. He tells me that the tread is so worn down that its not safe. He tells me that the tires are old and that they are not safe. He's putting his little computer all over my tires as he's telling me this. I'm like ok. I just need a balance. He starts his sales speech about new tires again. I said no. just a balance today. Then he says your tires are in such bad shape that if we find anything wrong with them, we will not put the back on your truck and that your spare tire is no good either, so they won't put that one either. You will at that point have to buy new tires. At this point Im starting to question the integrity of this place. im thinking to myself they will take my truck in and definitely "find a problem". I tell him again that all I want is a tire balance. We go inside and he begins to enter all the information into the computer. I look at my watch and its now 10 minutes after my "appointment time". The service advisor then tells me to go ahead and have a seat and they will get me in, in about 45 minutes to an hour. I said my appointment was at xxxx time. Thats the whole point of making an appointment! Now your telling me I have to wait another 45min to an hour AFTER my APPOINTMENT time?! At this point I'm fed up with all the crap I've been hearing. I tell him forget it and walk out. Now about me.... I've been turning wrenches on cars and trucks for 40 years now. I was told that my tread was worn out. The tires that I had come new with 15/32nd tread on them my tires still had 7/32nds tread on them. Thats still half the Tread left! The tires were older but there were no cracks bulges separations on any of them (at least BEFORE my truck went into their garage.) They were in good shape. I have 3 vehicles in my household. None of them will be going to this place for anything tire related. I would advise anyone else to do the same.

Tire Repair was completed late on a busy Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately the existing lug nuts had seized onto the older bolts. Staff completing all repairs the same afternoon and at no cost to me. Fantastic Service. Thank you!

I went to discount tires because I heard good things about them. I brought in 4 almost new tires to them for mounting and balancing. I liked that they checked to make sure the tires were the right fit for my SUV (very professional) but I put too much confidence in their mounting abilities. Three days after I got my tires mounted, I drove my car three blocks before realizing that it was a flat tire that was making the noise (I did not even think about the tires because it had just been mounted and checked). When I went back to get the tire checked, they told me my tire was too damaged to use (because I drove three blocks) and tried to blame me for ignoring my flat tire sensor… the thing is that after waiting for 2 hours for them to mount the tires, they had forgotten to replace all my sensors that I had requested. I wasn’t going to wait for another two hours for that to be done and so I left two of them damaged so I always have the flat tire signal on. When I asked them why they don’t check for leaks, they said that they have 200 cars a day to go through and if they had to check that with every car, they would only get 20 done. This company’s goal obviously is quantity and not quality. No apology only them trying to pin it all on me… I’m not going back to them ever again. And I’m more than $200 out thanks to their negligence and forgetfulness to do what was requested to be done.

Gilbert location at cooper and Warner is the worst, slow and inconsistent. Todays air check line is over 15 cars and it is taking 10 minutes per car, not sure about skill set or management

I have a 2019 Subaru Outback in prestine condition. I took my outback for a tire replacement they ordered. All they had to do was remove my spare and put new tire on. I personally put the spare on with a torque wrench and hand tighten the nuts snug. The tech used a high power impact gun and broke 1 stud and crossthreaded a nut tightening instead of loosening. This is after I asked them to use a torque wrench and not an impact gun. To top it off...they mounted the wrong tire on my wheel they put in the back of the car and I had to drive back out 15 miles 1 way with 3 bolts holding my spare on for them to put right tire on my wheel. Hendersonville , TN DISCOUNT TIRE are not to be trusted. Cost me over 300.00 for their mistake.

Discount Tire Little Elm Hwy 423 Wife was out shopping on 9/3/22 Saturday when she realized her tire was going flat.She immediately went to Discount Tire,this is where the tires were purchased with full road hazard warranty.She was told to bring her car back on Tuesday 9/6/22 three days later for repair.She took the car next door to Driver’s Edge and paid for the screw to be removed from the tire and repaired.I told her she should have called AAA to come change the tire in Discount Tires parking lot while informing customers about how well the hazard warranty works.Last time for Discount Tires to ever be on one of my cars or trucks.

2 weeks ago on a Friday at 5:45 P.M. I noticed my left rear tire was leaking. I was leaving for Detroit early the next morning (on an important date: to meet my son's girlfriend's parents!) so I really needed to get that tire fixed. I raced over to Discount Tire (arrived at 5:57; they close at 6:00). I explained the situation, apologized profusely...and they spent 45 minutes fixing my tire....and they wouldn't take a penny for it! Now THAT's SERVICE! The tire in question hadn't even been purchased from them (this was a new car). When I offered to by the crew a round of drinks as a thanks, the boss just smiled and said "thanks but no thanks; this is what we do." I told him from now on I will absolutely be a Discount Tire customer for life!!!

3524 Inwood Rd Dallas, Tx. I had two brand new rims stolen buy this store. I had my Volvo towed to this location two replace two tires and rims. Just found out from Volvo they never replaced the rims! My tires and alignment destroyed because of it. 600 dollars stolen!!!

Last Sunday I took the exit toward home in Fairview, Texas. There was some metal thing on the off ramp and I hit it and my front tire blew. A very nice Allen policeman got the tire off and a doughnut tire put on. I limped home and the next day I called Discount Tire off S. Central Expressway In McKinney, TX and asked if they had a matching tire to replace the bad one. "
"No" the man said , " but we can get one here in the morning and replace the doughnut spare with a new tire at 2PM tomorrow." I arrived, they took the car in and it was ready to go in 20 minutes. The price was great also. WOW. The spare was shot from the trip to the tire store so I asked if it could be replaced. Dillon, the service man who has helped me on the phone, found one online, said he could have it there the next day. He called me next morning and said it was mounted and ready to pick up. I returned to the store and Dillion immediately got the tire and took it out to my open trunk which was a total mess from digging out the spare etc on Sunday. He patiently took out the pile of trunk carpets and shelves and put everything back into the trunk perfectly with the new spare. He worked at least 30 minutes on this in the hot Dallas sun, smiling all the time he was doing the jig saw puzzle in my trunk. If he had just thrown the spare in and shut the trunk I don't think I could ever have been able to figure out where all these parts are stored.

This is possibly the best customer service that I have encountered in my 77 years on this earth. This guy need to be a store manager. Thank you Dillion and thank you Discount Tire.

This is for Discount Tire in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Unfortunately I got a flat tire on my way home from work last night. Fortunately I have AAA so someone was able to come put my donut on for me very quickly. As I obviously needed a new tire on my vehicle my boyfriend recommended this place. I called them and they were super friendly and told me to walk in at anytime and they would take care of me. So I did just that. The very nice gentleman greeted me as I walked in and I explained to him my situation. He went outside looked at my tires and came back in and pulled up a couple options for me on the computer and was able to get me a great discount on 4 brand new Michelin tires so I decided to go with that. Less than and hour and a half later I get a text saying my car was ready to go! Highly recommend this place as the staff is incredibly knowledgeable on the tires and very friendly and explained everything for me! Definitely will be using them in the future. (:

Also I would like to point out how clean and nice it was in the front lobby. I almost felt like I wasn't in a tire shop. Keep up the good work Discount Tires in Maple grove. You just gained a loyal customer for life!

Superb! Professional and through experience from the time I entered the store until I was escorted to my waiting vehicle. I made an appointment online to have the wheels swapped out on my car. These guys are on it and know their stuff. My vehicle was treated with care and the price was incredible. Super fast job.

THIS COMPANY USES FEDEX TO SHIP, ORDERED 2 TIRES GOT 1. WAITED ANOTHER 5 days got ZIP. Any company that uses FX don't give a rat's ass about customer service. They nothing to make things right. Use Tire Rack for online purchases,DON'T make the same mistake, believe the bad reviews.

I made an appointment and Discount Tire honored the appointment and guaranteed my new tires would be installed within an hour - and they beat their estimate by 11 minutes. Bravo.

After a rotation of tires which were purchased from Discount TIre, my pickup developed a shimmy. The initial solution should have been balancing, which was missed at time of rotation. No offer was made to rotate, but instead the immediate recommendation was to purchase new rims and /or new tires to replace a set with only 22K out of possible 60K miles. Obviously I left without resolution. The store was short staffed, and I waited in line for 20 minutes even with an appointment. Previous services have been hurried, rushed and less than thorough. There will be no returning.

The Discount Tire Store on Genesse Ave in Clairemont is the best! We have been going there for years and all their employees are always very nice. Great prices. Thanks! Chris & Dianna Rottner

I needed to order a wheel for my full-size spare. I already had the tire, just needed the wheel. I ordered on Monday 6/7 and the associate told me that it would be in by Tuesday 6/8 (Wednesday at the latest). On 6/9 I received an email that my "order had arrived." I figured I would get a call to set-up having the tire mounted. Well, that never happened. On 6/19 I called the store to see what was going on. After waiting on hold forever, I spoke with someone who said he would look into it. Then placed me on hold forever. He told me that the wheel wasn't there and that he would call me back later that day or the next day to let me know what was going on. Needless to say, that never happened. On Monday I called again and the associate told me it would be in that evening and we set an appointment for the next day. I did receive a call when it did, in fact, actually arrive. So that is good I guess (I actually received two calls so maybe the inter-communication isn't that great).

I came in to the Renton store on 4th, unaware they had literally just closed. I had a nail in my tire. Jon stayed to fix my tire after his coworkers were leaving. Great service & attitude. I honestly didn't think he was going to help me when he let me know it was closing time. Thank you Jon, I appreciate you!

Every single large retail service company should STUDY Discount Tire and how they do business. CRM management, their systems, pricing and honest service is OUTSTANDING. Their teams--no matter what location--are VERY customer centric. They are ALWAYS busy and they do their absolute best to get you in and out ALWAYS courteous and with a smile. Just excellent and what a CREDIT to the State of Arizona for being founded here in Scottsdale. They are National and I will be using them if I ever move. They are loyal to YOU as the customer and you will be loyal to them. UNMATCHED. Keep it up guys. You rock.
