The two gentlemen, Martin and Anthony, understood my dilemma of having to get 2 tires installed FAST in order for me to get to work on the night shift on time. They OVER-DELIVERED! I will continue to recommend this place for tires (as well as increasing their pay).

I have bought tires from Discount Tires multiple times over the last 15 years. Every new vehicle I buy has always been taken to the store and road hazard purchased. I had a tire leaking and called to set up an appointment at the Merrillville Indiana location. I was told I couldn't make a appointment but to stop by and they would repair it. I left work early only to be told it would be at least 5 hours. When I questioned the time, he told me I should have made an appointment. Really!!! He said there were 20 people in front of me. I had to go down the road and pay $35 for a repair. When I called to complain about the wait, I was told the others waiting in lines safety was just as important as mine. I never said it wasn't but I do feel that if you have purchased road hazard, you should at least get priority over someone just looking for a free fix. My next set of tires will be purchased somewhere else and i will get in line with the others looking for a free repair, when convenient. .

I bought a tire and asked them take a tire off the car and put it on a spare wheel I bought and to put the new tire on the car. The quote was $119 to do both. After paying them the manager would not put the tire on the spare rim saying it wasn't safe. I just had that tire repaired elsewhere and they had no problem with it. Long story short is I told them I should get a refund for not installing that tire on the extra rim. They then claim they didn't charge me for that anyway. I could have bought that new tire for far less elsewhere. I agreed to that price knowing they would place the old tire on my spare rim. I informed the manager I would never be back. Walmart was far less money for that tire so I bought another new one from them.

Im extremely disappointed in my local Discount Tire! Yesterday my daughter had a flat tire on her truck luckily she was right across the street from the discount tire in Boerne. When she drove up to see if they could fix it they told her they couldn’t because it had been plugged before then she asked them if they could put the spare on and again they refused saying that the spare was over 10 years old and wouldn’t be safe mind you it has never been used and had air in it. So Discount Tires bright idea instead was to put air in the leaking tire on the truck and told her to take it to a mom & pop shop and maybe get it fixed there because discount tire policy wouldn’t allow them to fix it. Well she made it about three miles down the road and the tire went flat again now she was stuck on the side of the highway. I don’t understand how the hell they thought it was safer to just put air in a leaking tire and send my young daughter down the road. Oh but they did offer to sell her a new tire that she just couldn’t afford at the time. She just needed to get home about 12 miles away. The spare tire would have been just fine but instead they put her in more danger by sending her off with a leaking tire. I understand that they are in the business of selling tires but that is ridiculous. We would have came back to purchase two tires this weekend for the truck but after this fiasco we will never use discount tire again!

Took my car for a tire rotation and the car seat was returned to me filthy and now my seat is damaged and white cover steering wheel is damaged. This is a brand new car seat and they didn’t even bother to put the tire cap back on. I need discount tires to replace my seat.

I called and took the car back for them to review. They are now sending photos to client services.

For all future customers with white seats make sure they put a cover on your seat before doing any work. I wouldn’t want you to wait there over an hour like I did and get returned a damage seat, cap sticking out tire, and damaged steering wheel.

Update: 1/8/24 Just spoke to the claims department and was told the store isn't admitting fault and is going under investigation. To all future customers go do your business elsewhere. There is no reason for you to take your car for rotation in perfect condition and to come back dealing with a damaged car and the worst thing now that the store doesn't even want to take accountability. No one has time to accuse anyone of damaging their property.

Initial Yokohama Tires order was cancelled and Thomas offered cheaper tires option at additional COST. Felt like scam!

Deceiving advertising practice!

Got new tires on Wednesday and the low pressure light stays on, I took it into the shop to find out what's up with the light, they said a sensor was bad and they're tech could have done the damage, now a battery is bad in 2 wheels, now they're telling me it's a nother $120 after I paid $940 for my tires. Don't think I will EVER go back to DISCOUNT TIRE,and now the light is still on, got to replace all the sensors. Thanks

I've been a very loyal Discount Tire customer for 15 years...the one on Bakers Bridge in Cool Springs, Tn. Always experienced great service delivered with passion.
Not so much this time.
Spent $1,600 on a great set of Michelin's in September.
Been back three times due to balancing issues.
Never spoke to a manager...just gave up yesterday...as I was treated with great indifference by people whose priority does not appear to be a customer.
No one seemed to care...I asked if they were able to test drive the car for a test drive and was told they don't do that anymore.
No one was ever concerned that this was the fourth attempt to simply balance the tires. FOUR TIMES!
Indifference is the big business destroyer...positive word of mouth is the best referral...I will seek a b etter customer experience for my next set of tires, best of Luck Discount Tire.

I did a ton of research prior to purchasing tires for my car. Discount Tires Direct was by far the best value. Not only were all discounts and rebates applied properly and in a timely manner, but the tires arrived in great condition within just a few days.

After a follow up for a warranty issue, my love of the company only strengthened in that they honored the issue and made it right, in a super quick manner.

Have the utmost confidence ordering from this company, they are top-notch!!

Technician rushed the tightening of the lug nuts and cross threaded one of them. He could have let me know of the mistake but instead, I had to discover them for myself. This mistake caused the wheel stud to be damaged. Save yourself time and buy your tires from eBay. Go to a local, independent tire repair shop to install them and save tons.

Discount Tire Apple Valley, MN. Took my truck in for tire rotation and balance. I noted on the reservation to make sure wheel "lug nuts caps" should be reinstated properly. This was ignored. 5 were loose about to fall off after the service. ( the same problem occurred when they originally installed the tires)
I went back to complain to the manager. He failed to apologize, stating his service reps didn't want to over tighten the caps.
Later found out that the tires were "not rotated" either. Have done business with this shop many years.
Can not trust this store anymore. In fact need tires on my other car, but will not do business with this Apple Valley, Mn store again!!

I came in on a rainy day and your salesman refused to fix a nail in my tire saying he couldn’t work on it because my tread was too low which is a lie he could fix it but he was too greedy and wanted to sell me new tires I had paid already for road hazard and certificate.
I left discount and later had a flat and had to put on my spare in the middle of a thunderstorm.
I will never do business again with discount tire and I will take all my cars to another place. So for 2/32 tread you lost thousands you should have been better to my family.
End the greed and help folks out.

I have been a discount tire customer for over 20 years, tired five cars with them. I never had an issue with any of the tires I bought until recently. The four tires I bought, the store manager recommended. One of the tires began to go bad after 16000 miles with a 50000 mile warranty on them. They were only offering about a $40 credit to replace two of the tires. So what good is a 50000 mile warranty if you don't even honor it. So I'm done with them! I won't ever go back. The one time I have an issue and they won't keep up their end of the deal!

What has happened to Discount Tire …. I walk in and ask if my tires can be rotated and balanced to an individual ( who just looked obtuse ) told me, as he was staring at his computer screen, it’s going to be a couple of hours to complete. After explaining that I would go get something to eat this person (still staring at the computer) then told me it was going to be 4 1/2 hours …. no expression, no explanation, zero service delivery at all.

Purchased four new tires for my car. Experience was great until they wanted me to view an issue with my car. The floor manager advised that three lug nuts were cross-threaded and it was my cars fault. I stood and stared at manager until he asked if I had AAA. (They actually wanted me to tow my damaged car to their 3rd party repair vendor!) I continued to stare a manager until he had car towed to 3rd party repair vendor.

I lost use of my car for 24 hours. I called the regional office to express my concerns and never heard a word form anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Prices may appear good, but you get what you pay for.....

Let me preface this review by stating that I’ve been using Discount tire for over 20 years. Very happy with the service I’ve received so when I have any type of tire issue, they’re my go to. Yesterday, I ran over a piece of metal on the freeway that punctured my front driver’s side tire. I put the spare on and then called my local Discount Tire. I knew the tire couldn’t be repaired so I ordered the exact same tire that’s on the vehicle now (OEM tire). I checked in for my appointment today and after examining my car, the service writer (who was the manager) informed me that my other three tires were worn to the point that they recommend replacing them (another $650). I was shocked and asked how that was possible given that they’re fairly new. He said tires don’t last as long as their stated mileage and this was very common. I then told him the car only had 14,000 miles on it and the tires had been rotated at 7,000 miles. It’s a 2020 so I think he was shocked when he heard the mileage, and I pressed him on his recommendation. His response was “well that’s what my tire gauge card recommends”. I told him I wasn’t going to replace any of the remaining tires. Since the replacement tire was exactly the same as the remaining three, I asked him if I should expect to get only 14,000 miles out of it? After all, that’s the mileage on the tires he recommended I replace. I pointed out that they advertise the tire as having a life of 50,000 miles. Awkward moment for him. My faith in DT has been rocked a bit. Trust is a very important component in a person’s relationship with their service provider and this violated that trust. I viewed this as an attempt to sell me something I didn't need. I'm savvy enough to know that but many people aren't. I’ll still use DT but NEVER that location again.

I ordered a pair of tires not in stock but in a warehouse in Seattle on Wednesday told they would be on the truck delivered for install Saturday, no truck then told Monday no truck then Tuesday at 3 no truck, FedEx needs to be fired now a week has gone by unable to drive my only car because of a sidewall puncture, a week to get 2 tires 200 miles away?

Recently went to Discount Tire in Suwanee, GA and was treated so professionally and efficiently. I had a low tire so I had the air pressure checked first. They saw a nail and offered to fix it right then. I checked in at the desk and was taken care of. It was very busy but in 90 minutes I was leaving with my tire fixed. I was shocked when he gave me the paper work and was told I did not owe then anything. I will return to this store when ever I need tires. They are a 5 star operation.

My tires were just below the line on wear so discount would not service them. I guess the warranty is null and void if they need replacing according to their standard.
