Informative visit and great opportunity to learn about the industry through the generations

A fascinating insight into the history of glove-making and the skill required in making high quality gloves. I hope others will have the opportunity in the coming years to enjoy the talk and the opportunity to look at the exhibits in the museum on site.

Really enjoyed our tour and found out so much about how gloves are made. A very friendly and informative tour guide. We enjoyed the museum, and the chance to feel different types of leather.

For both of us this was a very interesting and informative visit. Our guide explained in an interesting, humorous and fascinating way the process and development of the glove making Industry. Its history in both the local area and Nationally were explained fully whilst holding our attention for the duration of our visit. We cannot recommend enough this visit to. Dents collection of Historic Gloves could not be bettered. Anyone having the opportunity to partake of this tour should do so.

Excellent host who told the story of Dents and glovemaking very well with the use of slides and specimens.
Our only disappointment was not seeing the factory area.

Great visit to the shop and museum

Rachael was a great guide and I really enjoyed learning about the development of the glove industry in the local area and the survival of gloves from different eras. It was fascinating to see such a huge range of gloves in the museum.
My only quibble is that the tour group was too large.

Welcoming staff, fascinating and informative talk about gloves and their history. Excellent, well-priced shop. We went as part of Heritage Open Days but it was oversubscribed so the management arranged an extra date for the those unable to attend, including some friends of mine. Above and beyond.

What a fascinating visit! We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of the industry, the techniques/materials used and the museum of artefacts. It is a rare treat nowadays to be able to view exhibits at such close quarters. Also found the photographs around the building interesting. We have told so many of our friends about this gem…. The shop was also a delight. Thank you

Very well made beautiful quality leather. Great stitching. Very good fit and feel work perfectly. Everything was so good which made the colour transfer to my hands very disappointing especially the black palms. Expected better so can't give 5 stars.

Having recently contacted customer service, notably Corrina, I was extremely pleased with her help and subsequent dealing with my query.

I have bought from Dents for many years and have never had a problem with either their products or their helpfulness. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

Bought a size too large.. easy process to return and ordered a new set of these beautifully made fingerless racing gloves… yes I do own a race car.. 650bhp 😈. 😍

Bought 4 sets of these gloves, sets for driving during winter and summer, gloves are excellent and hard wearing as I use them daily, touch screen works great also, great gloves.

I bought a wallet and after 6 months it had an issue with the leather. I contacted Dents and received a next working day reply and a new wallet was sent to me within a couple of days.
Superb customer service and a nice wallet.

Compré unos guantes de cuero para conducir. Son de cuero de oveja; por fuera negros y por dentro tintados en rojo. El curtido ha sido pesimo dado que me dejan las manos rojas despues de conducir. El problema es que los químicos penetran en la piel sudada y me ha generado dermatitis leve. No aceptan devoluciones desde España.

I never leave reviews but this was the most disappointing customer experience. I was told this is regarded as possibly the best glove creator.
Within less than a month of ownership of- a month of LIGHT wear- there was clear deterioration: small tear, fraying stitches and knitting, and leather discoloration.
This was really upsetting to me, I loved them so much.
Im disabled I don't make money to spend such high costs, but I took a chance trusting I would have a lasting and quality product for winters to come.

Within the first month contacted about my concerns, with images. I was told this was not expected, and asked to send the item for a quality review.
After sending the product for review, the only response I received 2 weeks later was simply a refund has been issued.

No comment on the quality concerns.
No promise that this is not their usual quality or an apology that it's winter and I'm without a glove due to a lack in quality product.
No replacement pair sent.

Just a refund, so I have to reorder without any security or trust that the next pair will be of better quality.
I sent several emails to follow up, no response.

Very hesitant to purchase another pair of your gloves given the high cost and low quality I experienced.

Placed an order on Jan 20 and was charged. Never received the order that I needed for an event. When I realized it had not been shipped and would not arrive in time, I emailed Customer Service to cancel my order and refund my money and I never received a reply. Shortly after,I got a notice that a label was created. That was SEVERAL days ago. It’s now Jan 31. So they could have canceled my order. I emailed company AGAIN with no response. I Would give 0 stars

Bad company first of quality is below standard
For humans. Then they will create a shipping
Label 5 days before they even send your below average item that you payed top dollar
For. All in all they suck and will rip you off

Purchased my first pair of what I thought were premium gloves from a premium company. When the gloves arrived to my confusion, the right glove fitted but the left didn't!!??
I'm closer inspection I noticed that the leather panelling around the thumb area was almost half an inch in size difference between the two gloves, and the press stop snap closure as a result in a different location from the right love.
I sent an email across to Dents with photos, and a day or two later decided to call them.
Granted.. It's the first week after New year back at work.. but the lady said that they had a huge backlog of emails to work through.. so I gave her the order number and title of the email and asked if she could just do a search and bring it up.. "no I'm sorry I can't do that We've got a good emails that we're working through and we'll be in touch".
In the past when I've worked in customer service in various different industries when a customer calls you deal with that customer there and then you don't say to them "get back in line and wait your turn"..!!

Sorry very very disappointed, terrible quality, awful customer service.
