Seems to be a scam because by the time any buy or sell orders are hit the profits are long gone and parabolic coins just vanish. Could do much better at "Day Trading" than this monster.

Before anything else: if you were experiencing issues, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team first. We're here to help, and in many cases issues can be resolved before they escalate — or before a public review is the next step.
After reviewing your account, the bot performed exactly as it was configured. A few things stand out:
- Market buy orders instead of limit orders carry a real risk of unfavorable fill prices, especially with volatile or low-volume coins
- Auto-merge positions combined with DCA and 2 open positions can result in unexpectedly large orders
- Signal configuration override was enabled for one signal, meaning your settings were bypassed by the signal's own configuration
We also noticed the setup was based on advice from ChatGPT and Gemini. These are great general tools, but they have no specific knowledge of our platform. We have our own support team, backtesting tool, and paper trading feature for exactly this reason — to help you test and validate a strategy before trading with real funds.

Has a lot of bugs, paper bot stops trading. Live bot still not trading well. Does not show the strategy on the chart (buy sells), bot does not buy / sell as per the strategy accurately.

We have carefully checked both your live bot and your paper trading bot. Based on our analysis, the bots are functioning according to the settings you have configured. The issues you describe are not caused by bugs, but by the current setup.
- For your live bot, you selected USDT as quote currency, but there is no USDT balance available in the bot. You currently hold USD, which is a different currency. Without the selected quote currency available, the bot cannot execute buy orders.
- For your paper trading bot, you configured it to allow only one open position per coin, while only one coin is selected. This means that once a position is open, no additional trades will be placed until that position is closed.
In both cases, the trading behavior matches the configuration exactly.
We understand that this may be frustrating. However, these matters could have been clarified quickly by contacting our support team before concluding that the platform contains bugs. Our team is always available to review bot settings and explain how specific configurations impact trading behavior.

terrible experience, got charged 165 dollars for not working app, spent three days chatting with support without any luck, couldn't start a thing, and of course they refused to refund, even though I requested a refund because the service doesnt work and it wasd requested 10 minutes after payment. after ralizing they won't be able to help me. absolute nightmare.

Good platform overall, subscriptions too expensive, and a few pitfalls to avoid
There are a few things to know before jumping in Cryptohopper.
Overall appreciation: the platform is neither too complex nor too easy. You can start very simple with a free template bot, and then gradually fine-tune it, up to building your own strategies with technical indicators or AIs fed by multiple strategies/signals (Hero only). It's also easy to configure a bot that doesn't sell at a loss (if you're uneasy when starting). For that I think it's a great choice for both newcomers and people with a significant experience too, which is a real bright point. Otherwise, the UI feels a bit old school, UX is... well it's barebones, and some common features in trading bots are lacking, do Cryptohopper still innovate? I'm constantly tempted to look elsewhere.
Help & Support : Kinda good. The in-app documentation via tooltips is a great thing I'd wish I see more often (could be slightly improved still). The actual documentation is good and covers every aspect I had questions on. Support : as with many products now you'll be greeted by an AI that is actually helpful to read the docs in your place. You can say "patch me through a human" if you need and they answer in a few minutes. I've had a few interactions with them, it was okay-tier, a bit impersonal but that did the job, didn't had serious issues but I think they would help if I had. Overall, I have trust.
Subscriptions & Marketplace : For that I removed a full point where I wanted to give a four-stars review. Many reasons, so I will detail more.
1) It's unclear on the pricing plan that you'll have only one bot per sub. For example, when they say "15 trading bots": that actually means one bot, and you can only trade 15 different coins in that bot. This is plain misleading.
2) Subscription price : $37.26 with VAT for the first subscription tier, Explorer, is non negligible, with low capital (around $1K) you might struggle to break even let alone make profit, UNLESS you pay even more to get good marketplace items. With that subscription, you only have one backtest per day (I can get that backtests are intensive to run though, just rewrite the thing in Rust or something). You can only trade 15 coins and have many other limitations. That's just not good enough. The one backtest thing is even more problematic for beginners or people who want to test the product, as they'll need to wait a LOT of time to test adjustments to their bot. This might discourage a lot of people (I almost left because of that, cancelled then subscribed again!).
The mid tier subscription Adventurer is good if you can make a good amount of profit by having a significant capital and a good config.
The last subscription, Hero, is way too expensive for what it technically is: $163,56 (!!) with VAT and "payment method fees", whatever that is. Only get this if you have thousands of dollars to work with and some experience in trading bots, otherwise you will bleed money.
3) Marketplace : it's harder than it might seem to find the good items. Free items won't get you profitable with the subscription costs and low capital. Some paid items will be just bad or outdated. Also, their price adds up so you better be sure what you buy will recoup your costs, that might now be around $40 to $200 per month depending on the subscription and chosen items. You'll need to know what you're doing... which is hard if you can't do enough backtests or find & pay the good items.
That's where there is a bright spot and a possible gigantic potential improvement for Cryptohopper: you have a 14 days refund policy on all subscriptions AND most marketplace items (except templates and bundles for logical reasons explained in the documentation). I had several refunds, the team executes them in around a day and aren't annoying about it at all, whether you made profit or not, they just do it.
However, you still have to contact support, file the different details by hand, etc.
My suggestion to Cryptohopper:
- Let us have a trial period on items so we can try the marketplace items that work best for us.
- Raise the backtest limit a bit so people can test out the items to find their combo.
I think this would *dramatically* help trust and people finding a good combo that gets them profitable, choose to stay with Cryptohopper and pay for your services. Just an impression, but I think you have a massive blind spot here to increase customer happiness and success.
With a few good moves in these directions, I would easily upgrade my notation, because I really like the platform and intend to stay.

[KRAKEN USERS] One last bonus point I really appreciated and that is worth mentioning: they support Kraken auto-earn (flexible, instant staking/unstaking), so all your sitting positions make you earn passive income. This is one of the rare, if not the only service to do that. Thanks for that guys.

🚫 CryptoHopper bot doesn’t work — 7 months of payments, 0 trades, no real support

I’ve been using CryptoHopper’s Hero plan for over 7 months — paying $134.72/month — and during all that time, their bot didn’t perform a single trade based on TradingView webhook alerts.
Despite dozens of hours spent configuring everything properly (webhooks, JSON messages, API keys, exchange connection, etc.), the bot simply does nothing. The output log remains completely empty, even after verified signals are sent from TradingView with valid JSON and correct webhook URL.
I reached out to support multiple times. Their responses are evasive and copy-pasted. They never directly answered the two most important questions:
Is my webhook key actually linked to my bot?
Why are webhook signals being ignored despite correct setup?
Worse, they now say "we’ll get back to you tomorrow" — every single day — and then go silent. I’m not sure if I’ve been ignored, ghosted, or outright blocked, but at this point it’s clear: this product does not work as advertised.
Over $900 wasted with no results, no resolution, and no transparency.
Avoid CryptoHopper if you value your time and money. You're better off manually trading than trusting a bot that does literally nothing — and support that hides from responsibility.

Our technical team has reviewed your account configuration and identified the root cause of the issue. The TradingView Alert you set up did not follow our documented specifications. Since your alert format was incorrect, the bot was unable to process the incoming signals, which explains why no trades were executed.
Support Communication:
We did respond to all your support requests and explained multiple times that your TradingView alert format needed correction. Our team provided specific guidance on the required setup. I do notice you first contacted us 21 days ago - given that you mention having issues for 7 months, earlier contact could have resolved this much sooner.
Resolution Provided:
We processed a complete refund of your entire subscription payment as requested - over $900 returned in full. This means you haven't actually lost any money.

I got tempted, usually very careful but not this time I got sucked in and clicked the button on FB and filled in my name, email and telephone nr.
Within 2mins someone phoned and claimed he was from Cryptohopper and guided me through the process of making an account and making my first investment of 200 dollars. This was the minimum and I was unsure how things worked.
I was told to choose IDEAL for payment. He also guided me to download Atomic Wallet.
To cut a long story short, on the REAL Cryptohopper's website, there is a BANNER that says's"Cryptohopper will never call you - if someone does, it's a scam"
I got in touch with the real company and they were very supportive and helped return the credits to me.
I can't thank them enough. Big lesson for me!

I used Cryptohopper for 6 months and even bought one of their strategies wolf of crypto.. Neither the platform nor the strategy produced any profits.. The whole platform is a scam.. Brought my capital down to 50%..Just half... No growth at all... Only losses... Painful... They'll write saying you didn't apply the correct settings.. Wrong.. I experimented with every combination available.. Still loss.. They promote loss making vendors for strategies and signals
