Sorry to hear that it's taking longer than expected to receive your GeniusCash!

We strive to deliver GeniusCash to most customers within 30 days of their application date by automatically receiving confirmation from the GeniusCash partner that the application for the product has been approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash.

Sometimes we don't receive this confirmation from the GeniusCash partner automatically, and a manual investigation is required. To do this, we send your application details directly to the GeniusCash partner. There are various things that the GeniusCash partner and/or the affiliate network needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time card or account holder, that the application was started from our site, etc. Unfortunately, the manual investigation time does depends on the GeniusCash partner and it is outside of our control.

Please keep in mind that each card/account application is reviewed separately based on the specific Terms and Conditions for that offer. We've checked on our end, were able to confirm that GeniusCash for the BMO CashBack World Elite offer was sent on 2026-02-26 via Interac. We also see that you submitted a ticket for the Tangerine offer on February 19th, this has been sent over to Tangerine for review, and once we receive confirmation from them regarding your application, we can move forward with the next steps.

Just double checked on our end, and the e-transfer was sent to the email you set up within your accounts payment setting on February 18th, and is still waiting to be deposited. Please make sure to double check your junk/spam folder for this email, and follow the steps in the email to deposit your GeniusCash.

When depositing the e-transfer, please make sure to use the correct e-transfer password, which you can find in your Interac section within the payment preferences. Make sure you're logged in to the correct creditcardGenius account where you claimed the offer.

Hey Kevin,

As per our Terms and Conditions, we need to receive a confirmation directly from the bank that the application for the credit card has been approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash. For most of our customers, we receive this confirmation from the bank automatically. When we don't, manual investigation is required, and we send the customer's information directly to the bank for a manual approval.

We have received confirmation from the bank that the reference number you provided is associated with that application that was not approved. Please check your ticket to make sure you have provided that correct application reference number.

There are various things that the bank needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time cardholder for that card, that the application was started from our site, the correct information was provided, that the application isn't linked to another affiliate partner, among other eligibility criteria. So aside from being approved for the card, there are other application eligibility requirements that the bank considers, and there’s a variety of reasons why an application may not be eligible for GeniusCash.

If you haven't received your GeniusCash once it's been 2 weeks since your application date, please make sure to head to your dashboard and create a ticket. This way, we can get your info sent directly to the GeniusCash partner for a manual investigation as soon as possible.
