Our centre always receives excellent apprenticeship support from C&G, including regular updates from Jon Price (Business Development Manager - Central North)

Always easy to contact for support via the Quality Teams and Operations Team. Our Senior Business Development Manager is incredibly helpful and highly knowledgeable and will always get back to us with a solution. City and Guilds qualifications are highly thought of both within education and by the employers we work with and we know we will be well-supported. For some qualifications it would be helpful to have more teaching and training resources available and for older qualifications, content could be updated but we work with stakeholder and employers to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with industry standards.

The website is easy to use, all qualification information is easily attainable. creating a basic courses from the ground up is made easy by having structured units.

Unfortunately having structured units limits the creativity of teachers to have an holistic approach a provide a "real-world" experience.
Smartscreen is the foundation of teaching, but most teachers never adapt them and continue to teach from the same basic information.

As a Curriculum area we enjoy a great relationship with City and Guilds. IEPAS are friendly, professional and assessments are booked in promptly without issues .

Our account manager Jon Price has always been proactive in aiding us for support, arranging training and resolving issues. He visits our campuses regularly and is a strong C&G presence within our college.

I am very familiar with City and Guilds as i work in compliance for a college and the Guilds are one of the bigger providers that we use. Their website and online Walled Garden system are easy to use. We have a great relationship with our Account Manager Krishna. I often use the online chat function for Quality queries and the team are very helpful. All in all i enjoy working with C&G in my current role in FE.

The whole team at C&G has been instrumental in supporting us as a provider to enable our learners to achieve and succeed. Teaching staff are well supported by technical advisors, the quality team, EQAs, and moderators, ensuring that teaching, learning, and assessment are delivered to a consistently high standard. C&G is proactive in keeping us informed of updates, changes, CPD opportunities, and communities of practice, which further supports our continuous improvement.
