I was very impressed by the letting service provided by Chase Buchanan. Audrey Sawyer, the property manager I dealt with has a wide range of experience and resources saving me from many a headache over the past few years. As such I would strongly recommend using Chase Buchanan if you wish to rent out your property in the future.

Reshma has looked after the property with skill, and been super responsive with me around repairs and requirements over many years. I really enjoy working with her and value her expertise and perspectives.

Since Reshma is dealing with me for the property management she is always very kind, supportive and helpful to us on all matters. If I have any issues or questions she always explain very nicely and deal the matter very professionally.

Tom Laurent and team were efficient and charming and matched our needs to those of the client. Worked overtime on saturday to finalize the deal.

Be extremely cautious when dealing with this agency because they will cause you a lot of stress. They are not supportive of tenants and their problems; instead, they side with landlords and are reluctant to upset them. On the final day of our tenancy, they charged us for an entire day's rent, which I plan to report to the deposit protection scheme. They tried to charge us £500.00 plus for tea stains on a wall; we were accused of painting a wall and of the flat not being cleaned, which is not true. We left the flat clean, despite it being extremely poor and barely livable.

They are predators who completely disregard the law when it comes to issues like "fair wear and tear" solely to extract extra cash from tenants. The property management team is questionable because they do not respond to emails. It took us six weeks of fighting to reclaim our deposit from the landlord, who was delaying the process to maximise his claims from it. We do not recommend this agency!

I was a tenant, for four years, in one of the properties that they are responsible for the management and staff always been very usefull, friendly and kind and they sorted out all the issues that I had with the property.

I’m renting the apartment through Chase Buchanan for almost 6 years and everything is very smooth and professional. My property manager is Audrey Sawyer and I’m really happy to have such a nice person as a manager. Communication is really great and respond on any requests is quick and professional!

Audrey has been a pleasure to deal with. Always courteous and willing to help resolve issues. She understands both positions and works hard to get great results.

We chose Chase Buchanan (Twickenham) to sell my late parents house after meeting Adam Silvester with regards to valuating the house for probate purposes. Adam was so relaxed and made us feel at ease immediately. He gave his advise which did not feel like a sales pitch (unlike the experience we had with two other estate agents). Kristian Fitchett was the main person to show the house to interested parties as did other members of staff. Kristian was always very helpful and very approachable. Communication via phone and email was always very good! Any unforeseen issues were dealt with professionally. Communication with our solicitor when required was also very much appreciated. Whenever we had to call Chase Buchanan the staff were always very friendly and calls were returned. We would highly recommend Chase Buchanan and we would definitely use them again! The sale was completed on 29th April 2026. A big thank you to you all!

It has been a smooth and pleasant experience to rent out our apartment with Chase Buchanan Lettings. Dominick helped to get the process to start, and Kate provided strong and responsive support from the start to securing tenancy. It was followed by equally high standard support work from Kena who kept us updated throughout the progression period to after tenants move-in. Eve from the property management team took over the responsibilities of facilitating communications between tenants and us, as well as help and support to resolve any issues reported from tenants during the initial move-in period. Over the entire rent-out process, the instructions and advices from the entire letting team have been clear, comprehensive and yet straightforward to follow. It has made what could have been a more complex process much easier. We have been kept informed throughout, and feel well supported. I’d highly recommend Chase Buchanan Lettings team for their professionalism, efficiency and customer care efforts.

After our tenancy experience, I would strongly advise tenants to proceed with caution when dealing with Chase Buchanan.
Throughout our tenancy, we repeatedly felt that tenant concerns and issues were not properly supported or fairly handled. Communication around maintenance matters was frustrating at times, and when problems arose, there seemed to be very little genuine consideration for the tenant’s side of the situation.
The most disappointing part came at the end of the tenancy. Despite fair wear and tear naturally occurring over a 2-year family tenancy, we were presented with excessive claims including large redecoration costs and boiler damage allegations which we strongly dispute. We were particularly unhappy that a boiler panel issue was blamed on us even though contractors had accessed the property after we had vacated.
Rather than seeking a balanced resolution, it felt like every effort was made to maximise deductions from our deposit. In the end, we felt pressured into accepting the loss of almost the entire deposit simply to avoid a prolonged dispute process.
Tenants should carefully document everything from day one, including photos, emails, maintenance concerns, and all communication. Make sure you fully understand your rights regarding fair wear and tear, deposit protection rules, and landlord obligations.
This was a very stressful and disappointing experience for our family, and unfortunately we cannot recommend Chase Buchanan based on how our tenancy ended.
