Love and hate relationship.

I always have the feeling that it could be great app, but so many simple things that I expect are just not happening now for a long time. I feel that I am paying for something that I don't like, and as soon as I hear for some alternative option I would jump straight away - even if it was more expensive.

- Inconsistency :
I am switching between the desktop app and phone. The fonts are not synced, my custom templates are not synced. It is like I am using different apps with some similar features.

- No undo button. Sometimes I make some mistake and than have to do all over again and spend time making the mistake right instead of clicking undo.

- Exporting the video makes it choppy and glitchy on desktop app, and then I have to go back to older version of desktop to not export choppy videos (what is the point of new app then if it is worse?

- Sometimes it just doesn't transcribe bunch of words even if audio is perfect and no matter what I do...

- I switched from iOS to Android and what a surprise I got... CAPTIONS LITE APP. Wtf is that? Where is my TIMING option that I use regularly? Essential option basically. Totally stripped app, like someone copied the app but didn't want to put to much work into it...Disappointing and disgraceful. I literally googled some other app that I can use instead of that.

So many frustrating things happening and I am thinking if the developers could make this great and easy to use app - how on earth is possible that these simple and expected things are so poorly done...

Just put yourself in a position of a user, what would user want and need, this way it looks like nobody cares, just pay the subscription and f-off we'll give you whatever we think you need...

Captions is easy to use. It's straight forward, and the AI functions are fairly seamless. I have not encountered any issues using it. Most importantly, the app makes it an efficient content creation tool.

The app was great, made editing and designing reels for my small business so much easier. Customer service was solid as well.

The app is good, just not for what I need it for, but customer service by NATE was outstanding he understood my needs and helped me figure things out, great for people that would like to try and find out if it's something they want to use.

I used Captions.ai for several months and I was genuinely impressed with the service. The AI-powered subtitles are very accurate, the video editing features (effects, avatars, auto-captions, etc.) are powerful and intuitive — perfect for creating short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Really is a game changer app. Been using it for a few years now and it’s generally flawless. The ai music creation is absolute fire. Their customer service is top notch as well.

This app has a lot of useful features that would take a lot of time for an editor to figure out on their own, but thanks to the app, you can achieve a modern, cool result in a short time! If you want to make your videos trendy and stand out, definitely try this app!
