once I found a contact telephone number I didn't spend long in cue before a call back. Working with Frank S. was easy and his patience with me was appreciated. We're still working on the issue and I'm confident it'll be resolved shortly.

keypad quit working was locked out of my gun safe called Cannon support I ordered a new keypad waited for ten days with no response no tracking number just silence on their end I called back to ask about the tracking number and when I was going to receive it they said it was a shipping problem I ask to be connected to the shipping department they said that they did not have the ability to do that and just wait so I went to my local locksmith shop and they fixed the problem for me call back to cancel my order and was told all sales are finial can't cancel and no refund never again will I buy any product made or sold by Cannon safe's again and (BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY) YOU WILL GET SCREWED

Toni the Cannon rep was super helpful and very easy to deal with. She was professional and extremely courteous. It made my call so nice and easy as she to handled my situation. She’s very knowledgeable about the Cannon products.

Just a few minutes conversation, and explanation of the problem i was having, the online technician pin pointed the problem, told me what parts I needed, how to replace parts, and created a parts order and payable invoice to order! Thats 5 star Service these days if you asked me!

I was having trouble finding the factory unlock code since a manual was provided by the retailer I purchased from. Within 5 minutes of calling, Frank S had me ready to roll and reprogrammed the lock. He also went ahead and emailed me a copy of the correct manual for future reference. Easily my best experience with any customer service representative in recent memory!

Customer service is not that good. Takes several days to respond if they respond. Had to buy a new key pad bc I needed proof of purchase and where I bought it from went out of business so I couldn’t get it. If they carry a life time warranty then why do I need proof of purchase??

I purchased a Cannon safe several years ago. This fall the lock failed and I was unable to get into the safe. I opened a support ticket with Cannon on October 21, 2025. After receiving no response two weeks later, I made another inquiry. And now as of January 7, 2025, I still have not received a response. Nothing. Radio silence.

This was my last Cannon product I will ever buy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We bought a large Cannon Executive Series safe from Costco in 2017. This past year we were having issues with the safe not locking. I submitted an inquiry in August of 2025 and they requested a video and copy of my receipt. I sent that in September 2025. Three months have passed and my issue is not resolved. I have sent so many emails with no resolution. I was told a part was ordered back in September, which I have yet to receive. I can't even get anyone to give me a status update on that. I have called the number and sit on hold for hours with no one ever answering the phone. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Do NOT buy from Cannon.

My 24 inch gunsafe is undependible. Every time I want to open it, I have to put a new battery in.

Cannon gun safe electronic lock continues to fail. I have replaced it once and now failed again. Cannon's customer service is very slow and difficult to receive information about a warranty claim. Would not recommend!!!

After six years keypad went bad got replacement, after 13 years keypad dead, waited on hold an hour and a half, waiting for second keypad and look, would say poor workmanship on keypads so far. Our passports in safe, traveling in a week and can’t get to them, they send email parts not for 6 to eight weeks I wouldn’t buy a cannon safe

Gabe Cordova was very patient with me and I want to say he is an asset to your organization. I am an old man and had to wait for one of my sons to help me with the instructions because I can't physically get to the safe because I have become disabled. Gabe was had to wait before he could close the ticket and I appreciated his patience. Thank you for the great safe as well.

I bought a Cannon Safe expecting reliability, and from day one it’s been the opposite. The first safe’s lock didn’t work out of the box. Cannon Safe was nearly impossible to reach, and Costco—not the company—ultimately helped me get a replacement.

The replacement wasn’t much better. Its lock also had issues immediately and has only gotten worse. I’m routinely locked out of my own safe. I enter the correct code, it says it’s wrong, then the same code suddenly works. Not exactly reassuring for something meant to protect valuables.

Every time I’ve contacted Cannon Safe, they blame the battery. I’ve bought plenty of top-tier batteries, and the lock still fails. Clearly not the issue, but it’s their easy excuse.

On November 2nd, I submitted a warranty ticket through their website, which promises a response in 24–48 hours. I heard nothing for 17 days despite follow-up messages. When I finally got someone on the phone, they asked for a video and more info, which I sent immediately—then I waited another six days with no response. So I had to call again and sit on hold forever.

When I finally spoke to a representative (Juan Devora), he said they wouldn’t honor the warranty because I didn’t have the original paper receipt from 10 years ago. I explained I have detailed emails from the original issue and the Costco order number, but apparently that wasn’t good enough. The representative was dismissive and made no effort to help. It was clear they were just looking for an excuse not to stand behind their product.

At this point, the safe has been unreliable from day one, the lock continues to fail, and the company refuses to honor its warranty even with proof of purchase. Reaching customer service is a challenge, and once you do, you still get no actual support.

I strongly recommend avoiding Cannon Safe. The products are unreliable, the customer service is unhelpful, and they don’t stand by what they sell. Save your money and choose a brand that actually supports its customers.

The team helped me get a key replaced very quickly and kept me informed about their progress.

Buyer Beware! Purchased a safe at Tractor Supply around the year 2000 that states it is lifetime warranty. It is an American Eagle that is a 22 gun safe. Problem with electronic lock & keypad. Went online on Cannon website, to purchase an electronic keypad and lock to replace faulty combination keypad. Remember - product is Lifetime Warranty. Cannon requested proof of purchase (from purchase over 25 years ago). I told them the model # and serial # and Customer Service stated I would still have to show proof of purchase. Therefore, I told them I just needed to order a new electronic lock. They took my order and immediately charged me on Paypay (their only way of purchasing item) $91.00 for the lock kit. The lock took over 9 weeks to arrive,leaving my safe unsecure. Cannon also owns Stack-On & Millinium Safes. Buyer Beware - Cannon's "lifetime" warranty, is not really Lifetime!

The lady from customer service listen to my problem. Then this is what was a surprise. She told me the solution explained it and then emailed me the steps to. the she explained she explained first. It was great it worked. everything is great. I wish I had wrote her name down she was great

Had a technical issue that turned out to be a battery that needed replaced. The gentleman that assisted me was polite, and knowledgeable. After seeing the video I provided he was able to quickly identify the problem and we had it fixed in 5 minutes. Thank you Francisco, I appreciate your help!

Keypad started beeping after few months and now it's not usable and customer service is a joke , been trying to call and email for several weeks with no response

Called me right back and fixed the problem with the keypad.

Absolutely the worst customer service and to make it even worse they lie and do not follow up on calls or emails.
I bought a new safe that had a bad digital lock on it from they say I bought it and I still have not be able to receive a replacement lock even though I have followed and done all the requirements they have asked ..
When I follow up they jerk me around.
Cannon safes and the customer service is the worst in the business.
I learned the hard way and now I have useless gun safe
