I used the chat mode available and the CSR was extremely helpful. I have been experiencing issues with my digital keypad… I was never provided with the troubleshooting steps to attempt to resolve it and so far, my safe appears to be functioning normally. But, this is how the safe has been functioning… it will open/close with no issues for several months, then won’t open. The CSR provided an email to use should the safe start malfunctioning again… THANKS TONI!
Quick Solution To My Problem!
I spoke with a rep on the phone regarding a worn out touch key pad on my safe. Once he received the necessary information, he sent me a link so I could purchase a new one. The link also had video links for how to change the electronics and reprogram the key pad. The parts arrived in a reasonable amount of time and i was able to install and reprogram the new key pad in about 20 minutes.

What made my experience great was the help I was had, Alfredo got the job done. He was very pleasant to work with and knew how to get my warranty work processed.
My issue was solved
The wait time was a bit long, but once I had a rep on the phone, my issue was solved within a few minutes. Gabe was patient in helping me reset my code and get our safe registered.

Lost key and lack of communication
I lost my master key while my safe was in storage while I was off working and then the keypad decided not to respond.
After going online and filling out a ticket I waited and still never received any confirmation until I called customer service. Things seemed to be progressing after then then I get an email stating my ticket would be closed,even after sending an email stating that I needed assistance.
I received an email informing me how to pay for my key and the amount, which I promptly did.
Still no email or anything until I called today(02/24/2026) and after getting a call back from Gabe Cordova my issue seems to be resolved.
Just seems like a lot of dropped balls during this time of trying to work out the problem.

My experience with Cannon Safe has not went well to do the fact that I purchased a brand new 64 Cannon Highlander for approximately $1,000 at Tractor Supply and the store held it for me for a couple of months until I could pick it up. I watched the store attendant unbox it put it on the forklift and load it onto my trailer. However once I got home and began to set it up I noticed that all of the shelving and the spindles except one for the handle was missing. It's also poor craftsmanship on the inside with gaping holes and cheaply designed materials. The digital keypad was pain in the neck to get the new code setup. It must have taken me about 45 times to get it it's finally set up. I sent in a ticket online when I first got home and realized I had the problem and never heard back from the company so after a few attempts I was able to reach customer service and was told that I was going to be responsible for paying for the parts that were missing and the shipping because it was no longer under warranty. I expressed to them that had not been used or removed from the store until about 2 weeks before I contacted the online service and submitted a ticket. But the agent did not care did not want to hear about it. There was no remorse and he told me to submit the receipt and they would ship the products at my expense!! The only time they have reached out to me is to close my ticket because I contacted Tractor Supply and ask for the receipt that I was never given or the pickup ticket confirmationi. They let me know that Cannon has that information because I purchased brand new from their chain and that I shouldn't have to be submitting anything to them. They also shared with me there have been multiple issues with these safes concerning missing parts faulty keypads and damaged housing. I'm disgusted because I chose this brand over a Winchester that we already own. I believe that good customer service says Cannon should not only ship the missing parts but send someone here to fix the keyboard and the poor craftsmanship or send me a brand new safe and have someone pick this one up and return it. Is a 600-lb safe I cannot return it.
The Cannon tech dept can't be beat!
I had to have help from the tech people at Cannon safe after I purchased my 2nd Cannon safe. Unfortunately, I kept the tech on the phone much longer than I expected. The tech was unbelievably patient and courteous with me and he solved the problem that I was having. If I ever need a 3rd safe, it will also be a Cannon!

Used the email service. Customer service responded within a few days. Asked some questions and asked for pictures and copy of the receipt. I sent the requested documents and with in few hours received an email back with a link to order my items and pay the shipping fee. Was very straightforward and flawless. Appreciate the help and service.
