If only they lived up to their promise
I really wanted this product to work but unfortunately as it turns out, unbeknownst to me, I'm allergic to castor oil! Who knew? So I contacted Customer Service right away to let them know. It says on their website, "30 day money back guarantee no questions asked". HA!! A person by the name of Albey contacted me, and at first he was very nice. I figured as soon as he heard that I had an allergic reaction he would offer to refund all of my money. NOPE!! We went back and forth, he started out offering me a 15% refund. Each time I declined he would increase the refund. I finally got to the point where I asked him if he wanted me to send him a photo? Then he said that I had to send the unopened product back. I asked him how he thought I got the allergic reaction, through osmosis? The product was used, did he want me to return the used product? I only used it once but it's not like they could resell it. Finally out of frustration I washed it and told him that if he wanted it back I would send it AND pay for the shipping! I just wanted my money back, I don't think that's too much to ask. I can't use the product. Then I got a response telling me that since I had an allergic reaction he was going to issue me a full refund and I didn't have to return the product. He apologized if the situation caused me frustration and an inconvenience. REALLY?? But here's the best part, after causing me so much anxiety he had the audacity to ask me if I would consider giving him a 5 star review and mention his name so his team would know what a great job he did! I couldn't believe it!
Before I submitted this review I sent him an email to let him know how disappointed I was with his service and that I wasn't going to provide a 5 star review.
I also tried to give him some advice since I was in business for 30 years. I told him that I started out in Customer Service and worked my way up to Vice President. I said that if I treated our customers the way he treated me, I never would've gotten very far. So I told him to remember that without customers there is no business and he needed to try harder and use a little common sense.
