I sure wish I would have seen the reviews before I ordered. Wow what a run around mess. I ordered five items. One came the first day, three more the next day, never received the fifth items. I was told it was shipping a few days later. Then it was a couple more days. When it never shipped I was told it was an accounting issue. They showed they had 290 in stock. If they would have just been honest that would of helped. I needed this part the parts were no good without each other connected. Will never fall for this again. Then to charge me $40.00 in shipping that wasn't discussed. Never again! The last sale person was very polite and let me cancelled the last part so I could go order it from someone else. Selection and shipping is all right, but beware if there are any issues! An item was received damaged, likely a manufacturing defect or bad QA somewhere. Perhaps not their fault, but here is the rub: Customer service by email is poor, by phone is all right...so call, don't email. After a month and 6 calls in, I never received my replacement, even when I put my credit card down on a separate hold while they are processing my return (also extremely slow). I have to handhold the process every step of the way. (The response is the same: wait 3-5 business days.) I just requested to cancel the replacement order; I would rather go elsewhere. They offered a BoatID/CarID gift card but this is useless because I will never order from the site again. I purchased several thousand dollars in boat parts across a few sites in the past month, and this is not one that I am going back to. No thank you.

Horrible customer service is an understatement. Over one month and six phone calls, two hours wasted and still no parts. Everytime I call, I'm told they will ship tomorrow. Do not use this company

Ordered a distributor on sept14th received emails with ship date which never happened it is now the 28th and received another email stating it will now be shipped on the 29th. So more than 2 weeks after ordering they still haven’t shipped an in stock product!!!! And customer service just keeps giving me the runaround. I do not recomend ordering anything from this company.

Placed an order for two transom fenders and was told they were shipping from a warehouse in my state and that I would have them within 5 days at the latest. They weren't even going to ship until the day I was supposed to get them so I cancelled the order. Bad Customer Service.

Ordered Boat seats in July 9. Shipment was to arrive within 2 weeks. Got nothing. Waited until first week of August to contact customer service. After two days was emailed the the material for the seats was on backorder and the manufacturer expected to ship order by September 8, and did I still want the order. Told them yes. Still no seats. Emailed again yesterday Sept. 24. Heard nothing. Called ID customer service today. Told that the order had been cancelled and that they checked with manufacturer, seats are in stock but that have to reorder. Don't know why order was cancelled. Got no answer. Asked to speak to someone in supervisor capacity, told they can not transfer, must request a call back, which I did. Still waiting to find out about my seats and a delivery time. Extremely frustrated. Boating season is now coming to an end have been sitting on duck taped seats for 3 months. Would not recommend ordering from this company have had my money since July8th.

Was a little concerned about the bad reviews but went ahead and placed an order anyway because the part I needed was in stock. I had no problem at all. The part was available, shipped ASAP and received quickly with no damage. I would use them again.

Very slow to refund money on cancelled order that they didn't even have to ship. Still waiting after 3.5 weeks. I will never do business with them again...

Easily the worst online ordering experience I've ever dealt with... Order showed up with parts missing, was told they'd send the missing parts. Never showed up, Contacted them several times. Headache returning anything, been waiting for over 2 weeks for a refund after ups shows it's been delivered back to them... STAY AWAY

Perchased items, at check out there was no information regarding shipping services and price. Only later to discover they hit me $34,71 for shipping. Thats theft in my book. I did not agree to that, nor did I get the chance to choose the shipping method? Called in, was promised to be refunded and was to be contacted. Never was. I phoned back was given the run around and lied to.. worst customer service.. please do not apologize it just relinquishes people of their responsibilities. Come up with my refund as promised by your company.

This is an update. After a contact from someone that understood the situation and looked at the details I was given a full refund. Thank you M--la P---n-ll. She turned this experience around. Her involvement was a 5 star experience. I might give them another chance. I've changed my review to 3 star because she made it right.
After several attempts to get answers e-mail no response phone calls the last one lasted 46 mins and was told the item shipped. Then I asked to cancel they would not. Summary they sent me order shipped with a tracking # the shipper stated label created waiting for order to arrive the forth day of seeing this I called again....46 mins later told it shipped and couldn't be canceled. the 5th day I get a different tracking #!!!

This has been the worse purchase experience ever and thanks for not responding. I'm ordering from another source and won't accept anything from this company and now that I know car id is the same company they won't get any of my business as well, peace-out

I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Price was good and the shipping time was better then Amazon's. The quick shipping time enabled me to go camping that weekend with a working refrigerator.

Worst experience ever. Ordered a product and never received.

I was happy to find an affordable windshield wiper motor and arm on Boat ID website. I placed the order, but a week later, there was no tracking info. Only a "Processed" comment on the Boat ID website.

I called yesterday and, while on hold, I looked at their reviews and was a bit nervous that half of the reviews were terrible (nearly all the bad reviews were related to late deliveries, etc.).

The young woman came back on the phone and told me that the package would be delivered today, meaning yesterday. I thought, oh no, another complaint is going to be written, but the wiper motor came today so it's five stars for Boat ID.

I guess with Covid-19, we all have to be a bit more patient with deliveries and not everyone is Amazon Prime 2 day delivery, not even Amazojn

I would give a negative review if offered! I placed an order for a dock bumper on 7/9. Was told it would ship 7/10. On 7/15 they said it was backordered and I cancelled. They confirmed that on 7/22. Confirmed again on 8/28?? Still waiting on refund, luckily I knew to dispute it on my credit card. Do NOT deal with these crooks.

Like many of you, I was mislead about shipping time. By boat now sits in my driveway waiting for the seats. I cancelled the order after no one was able to give me an idea of when they would ship. Amazon had the same seats and promised next day delivery. I may upgrade the rating if they refund my payment within their 1-2 buisness days.

Ordered an antenna base. In bold on the description it described the item as stainless steel.When I received the item it was not. In fact it is chrome zinc made in Red China.I contacted Boat ID to return the item. They wanted to charge me 18.00 for shipping. I feel the description of this item was very deceptive Do not buy from boat ID they do not care about there customers. They lost this one over an 18.00 shipping charge. I was even willing to exchange it for a Glomex that was genuine stainless steel.Still no deal. I will not use boat ID for a vendor anymore . Beware!!!

Ordered a prop and hub kit, hub came in a few days. 17 days later still no prop. Horrible communication. Bought another prop from Hodges marine Friday and got it Sunday. Stay away from Boatid!!!
