Beware Booking with Billabong
I booked a hotel room through Billabong to include breakfast as depicted in the room description for Novotel. I received confirmation by email with a stated room typew and meal plan. The meal plan was SA? I did not know what this meant but because it mentioned a meal plan I thought fine.
When I arrived at the hotel they said I had booked room only and their confirmation of booking stated Room Only, which is quite clear.
I contacted Billabong and they said SA meant room only....so my question to them was why not send the same clarity of my booking to me as they did to the hotel. They made obvious excuses and refused to honour my booking with breakfast. They seem to lack any transparency with their booking process and confirmations.They offered me a $20 dollar refund but as they too my hotel cost in dollars I had a large currency transaction charge. I pursued them and then they refused to engage. So my advice is look elsewhere to book hotels etc.
I will of course be following this up with Amex.
No such thing as returns!
Been a loyal customer for years with a dozen orders online. Finally needed to return one item after all this time. They shut down the link to do a return, won't respond to emails and won't answer the phone. If I can't buy with confidence that I can return an item, then I won't be ordering from them at all. Avoid unless you're sure you won't have to return anything from your order!!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Purchased a gift for Christmas and couldn’t return in January!! Ridiculous!! Will never buy direct from billabong again - will buy through Macy’s or other retailer if I really want something billabong, a company that has a “normal” return policy around the holidays - they suck and I would give negative stars if I could!!!

I purchased men’s board shorts on billabong.com. They were running a holiday special with a promo code for 40% off. It showed as eligible on the product page. When I checked out there was nowhere to add the code for the discount. Nbd, I’ll email them to apply it. 4 emails with no response. I went to their website and started chatting. They said the “system” will not allow them to apply the discount or provide a refund. Nope, bye. You lost a customer. 👎🏽

Bad wetsuits
Purchased a 4/3mm wetsuit which was supposed to be Billabong's best. Wore it 4 times, then had a wipeout and it ripped. it was poorly made. Billabong refused to do anything about it. Horrible company.
False advertising
I brought two dresses, not cheap dresses as Billabong don't do cheap but I like the quality. My complaint was about the Free Picnic Blanket with an order over $150.00. My order was certainly more than $150.00 but no-where did I see how to claim the gift. I completed my order and then emailed only to be told that it was for full price items only and if you didn't add it in before the transaction was completed, too bad. Not happy but will think twice about buying from Billabong again. I could've gone to another site and brought the same dresses with a nice discount instead.
Slow Returns & Return fees??
Billabong returns state 7-10 business days processing. More like over 1 month. I confirmed my package was received by a returns agent less than 2 weeks and when I emailed customer service (after the package had been "delivered for 10 business days"), they confirmed the return. It was exactly another "10 full business days" to process my return and another 2 business days for the amount to hit my bank account. And customer service told me to follow up by the 18th of September. I didn't and had to wait until the 30th of September for money back. Not only did I pay for RETURNING THE PACKAGE, BUT THEY CHARGED A RETURN FEE. $68 order with return of only $53. LAUGHABLE 25% of my order charge GONE. Never again.

Confermo tutte le recensioni negative degli altri utenti, Billabong fa schifo. Ho comprato un paio di pantaloncini ed effettuato il reso perché mi andavano stretti, pagando 15 euro per la spedizione dell'articolo in Francia, che dopo un paio di settimane mi è stato restituito, in quanto il corriere ha provato a consegnarlo più volte senza successo, perché il ritiro è stato rifiutato, senza motivo.
Durante l'ultima settimana ho scritto una decina di volte al servizio clienti, sia tramite posta elettronica che compilando il form online, senza ricevere riscontro, se non messaggi di risposta automatici.
Non comprate da Billabong, o, perlomeno, utilizzate PayPal per pagare.
Worst telephone customer service ever
Worst customer service for online ordering that I've ever experienced. During a 50% sale online, my partner and I tried consistently to enter our order- our address kept saying "invalid" and wouldn't let us continue. We tried residential and business work addresses for delivery, same errors. I called customer service and they said the addresses were valid (obviously) and they didn't know what the problem was. They also said they couldn't put an order in via telephone. Ok? So how do I give you money and complete an order...?? I tried with a different browser, and called back. Same answer. I went online again and saw the sale was over. I called AGAIN and asked what do to- HOW CAN I GIVE YOU MONEY AND ORDER YOUR PRODUCT? No solution given, and he repeatedly told me he could now only offer 30% off anyway and not honour the 50% sale. How is this the customer's problem at all, and why did I have to lose out due to issues that were not our fault at all? So much time wasted. Unreal.

Adquirí dos productos iguales a través de la tienda online en dos tallas diferentes en dos pedidos diferentes. Me llegan los pedidos y uno es correcto y en el otro me mandan otro producto que no es el que había pedido. Procedo a devolver los dos pedidos porque uno no me vale y el otro obviamente no es lo que había pedido. Me reembolsan el importe del pedido que si habían enviado correctamente y del otro llevo 3 mails a atención al cliente reclamando su reembolso y no hay respuesta. El servicio de atención al cliente es PÉSIMO. No compréis online porque si tenéis que hacer uso del servicio postventa estáis perdidos.

EN LA VIDA VUELVO A COMPRAR, es la peor experiencia online de mi vida.
Pides, hacen una retención de la cantidad total, un día antes de la entrega te cobran el producto pero no restándolo de la retención, sino generando un nuevo cargo, mientras tanto, tu retención original puede llegar hasta 14 días después! Haciendo que no puedas disponer del doble de la cantidad original hasta que se confirme la devolución de la retención. No contestan, y en mi caso, hubo un producto que nunca me llega, pero se cobra como entregado y NO SOLUCIONAN NADA. HÁGANME CASO, NO COMPREN AHÍ. Es un enfado que dura un mes y medio y que todavía no logro aclarar. Cuidado

Ich hatte 2 Neoprenanzüge im Internet bestellt. Der Versand ist ausschließlich per Vorkasse (PayPal, Visa) möglich.
Ein Rücksendeetikett konnte ich nicht ausdrucken, da der Link permanent eine Fehlermeldung enthielt.
Keine Reaktion auf E-Mails seitens Billabong. Die Reaktion über das Kontaktformular waren lediglich Standartantworten. Eine Klärung war auf diesem Weg nicht möglich.
Eine Telefonnummer habe ich im gesamten Netzt nicht gefunden. Ein Impressum gibt es nicht.
Der Umtausch war dann in einer Billabong Filiale (Boardrider im Centro Oberhausen) möglich.
Das Geld wurde mir nach 4 Tagen über meine EC-Karte gutgeschrieben.
Hätte ich diese Filiale nicht in meiner Nähe gehabt, wäre ich wohl auf der Ware sitzen geblieben.
Also, Finger weg von Billabong!!!!

Ich hatte ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht wie viele andere hier mit schlechten Bewertungen.
Hatte 2 separate Retouren gemacht und habe nie eine Nachricht/Bestätigung erhalten und auch keine Rückerstattung erfolgte.
Danach habe ich ordentlich Druck gemacht und gefühlt jedem customer service in Europa geschrieben. Einfach überall geschrieben was zu finden war in den Geschäftsbedingungen...war mir völlig egal.
Kann doch nicht sein dass eine Marke wie Billabong einen grottenschlechten customer service hat.
Und siehe da, die Rückerstattungen wurden erledigt.
Schade für diese tolle Marke...ich bestelle NIE wieder etwas über die homepage.
