Left disappointed
Delivery of the bikes was excellent and on time. These were celebration gifts for my children for the following morning. One bike arrived with no pedals and the second bikes left pedal couldn’t be fitted due to over threading issues. The family bike ride we had planned on the day had to be cancelled and I had two very unhappy children. Took the second bike to a local bike shop where we paid to get the over threading sorted. On the whole just very disappointed. Replacement pedals arrived the following day so bike club did correct quickly. Just very surprised how they could be missing in the first place when they are the only loose items with the bike that are in the box

Never used bike club put off by prices
Okay, so I haven't actually used bike club. I wanted to but the per month cost of the frog bike i was looking at was far too high plus delivery, when I can have several options available to me on online market places for £150 for frog bikes which are in excellent condition and which will hold their value. One year of subs for the same bike with bike club would be more than thisband I expect this size bike to last my child circa 18 months. I'm just not understanding how they make a business with the prices they charge, maybe for people who don't use second hand market places?

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and we completely understand where you're coming from. The second-hand market is a brilliant option for many families, and we'd never argue with a great deal on Frog bikes!
That said, we'd love to share why Bike Club works so well for other families, in case it's helpful.

Getting the size wrong, even briefly, can put kids off cycling altogether. I have nothing but positive things to say
I have nothing but positive things to say so far and I am so glad I didn't pay too much attention to the negative reviews on here.
The process has been so smooth so far. I've got my daughter's first new bike at a fraction of the price than if I'd paid new and even took advantage off the 50% off for 12 months on starter bikes (promo code).
The bike arrived within 2 weeks and is absoutely beautiful. I opted for 'used' but it could pass as new - with brand new wheels.
The service has been great and I received a response email the very next morning - after I'd made an accidental order.
It gets 10/10 from me!

Quick and easy experience..
Quick and easy experience... I recently exchanged a bike and the whole process was hassle free. Great communication ahead of delivery and clear instructions on what to do with the bike that was being picked up. Excellent service and would highly recommend.

We love the quality of the bike
We love the quality of the bike. We are with bike club for 3 years now. The great structure of the bikes and confiirt, make it easy for my 6 years old to quickly adapt to different bike size.
The cost of delivery could be reviewed but overall great experience!

Ltd options & condescending customer service
Options are limited, particularly for renewing and up-sizing. Customer service is about average, and leaves you feeling patronised. I cancelled my our subs for my daughter's bike and was allocated a completely unsuitable collection date by their delivery partner. This was by text so no option to vary. When I went back to Bike Club, they tried to convince me I'd selected this date. Quite illogical as it simply does not suit, and therefore more likely the cancellation process automatically allocated it and the instructions were simply not clear. The communication with their Customer Service is extremely condescending.

Appalling customer service
I had a positive experience of bike club prior to now, but when I upsized my daughter’s bike for Christmas, the bike arrived missing a pedal, so is unusable, and despite my emailing 3 times since 23 December - they have no phone number so no other way of contacting them- I have heard absolutely nothing from them. Paying a monthly fee for an unusable bike, whilst my daughter is gutted that she still cannot use what was meant to be her main Christmas present, has completely put me off using this company and I will be cancelling my subscription. Lots of reviews and comments on their social media saying they don’t respond to emails - atrocious customer service and I would not recommend using this company.
