Molly was very helpful and great at explaining the forthcomming regs in April 2027 regarding mixed waste, we decided to act now, the rates were good too. Biffa have been handling our waste since 2011 and find them reliable.

Biffa did not collect our waste due to the bin being ever so slightly blocked in by a vehicle. Even though our garage forecourt was clearly open and staff milling around the driver chose to drive off instead of asking for the bin to be made accessible which would have taken literally 10 seconds to move the 6 inches required. I understand that the crew cannot hang about waiting for access to bins but in this case, the way our forecourt is set up and staff available easily i thought his decision was totally wrong. the bin is right uoutside our workshop and on this day the workshop door was fully open with our mechanics working inside. Surely a quick word with one of them would have been the appropriate thing to do in this case.

Always missing collection dates
Impossible to get hold of someone on the phone as they just don't pick up

Nothing online through the portal to message and query about the missed pick up

You will still get charged for the pick up even tho they pick it up a week later as they are now having to do two lifts to cover the missed pick up from the previous week
Causing you inconvenience on storing the waste outside of the bins...

Bins not emptied, stuff left in them. Ra g and asked for it to be collected, was told by senior team member would sort it. Nothing happened. The following week the in was emptied and left open, so other people used our bin. Tried to contact Biffa by phone this morning, it took 35 minutes which is the normal. I am fed up with the broken promises and poor service from biffa can someone contact me as a matter of urgency

Good service

As a small business owner, I have never come across worse customer service. Crews that are incompetent, and random large bills that come out of nowhere and they send to any random address then blame you for ignoring them.
STAY WELL CLEAR

The operatives broke both door hinges on the communal bin store, broke a large bin against there truck, and put it back thinking no one would notice, missed collections,abusive staff, and today they thought it was really clever to swap there wheelie bin they tip food in for recycling for our shiny new one, but worst of all is there manager, Dan white, arrogant,fails to return calls or e mails

Again on the phone 18 days after I tried 2 hours on the phone for nothing,
They contated me and told me they will sort it out, Noting happenned.... i am trying to cancel the cobtract and they are ignoring me and taking the money.
I am on the phone 20 min... waiting Hahahahahah

Very poor customer service from start to finish. On numerous occasions, Biffa failed to provide the agreed collection service, yet were still very quick to chase for payment. We also found staff rude and unhelpful when trying to resolve issues.

They seemed intent on adding extras to the contract, whether they were wanted or not. When we eventually tried to leave, the experience became even more difficult, with the contract being passed to a debt collection company.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding Biffa.

Noise at 5.15am in the mornings from vehicle doing its collection from Wantage Hospital. Can never get through to customer service so have gone to Environmental Health and made a noise nuisance complaint. Wakes us up 2-3 times a week depending on number of collections. Infuriating. We’ve lived here for many years and this has not been an issue before so something has changed. Tried email and they don’t accept emails any more. Ridiculous company. Now having to log times and dates for the council of every time they breach the law. Sort it out Biffa you are just annoying all the residents here and disturbing working families and retired people who don’t deserve this. This has gone on for months.

Repeated missed collections – very poor service

Very disappointing service from Biffa. We have now had three consecutive recycling collections missed on 6, 13 and 20 August, all recorded as “site closed”.

Biffa asked us to install a key box because collections were moved to after 9pm. We did this, provided the access code, and collections worked perfectly for three weeks.

We have now discovered that the driver has been going to the wrong gate and attempting to collect bins that aren't even ours. Our Biffa bins are behind the black gate, not the silver gate the driver has been attending.

We have done everything Biffa requested, yet our recycling continues to pile up. Please investigate this urgently with the Trafford Park Depot, arrange collection and correct the driver's instructions.

Title: Very Disappointing Service from Biffa

Very disappointed with Biffa’s service. The service has been extremely poor, with missed collections, unreliable communication, and little effort to resolve the issues. This has caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.

I expected much better from a company providing an essential service. I hope Biffa takes this complaint seriously and improves its service and customer support.

My business took out a contract on August 31 with collection scheduled fortnightly. I did not receive any bags until nearly two weeks later. The only bags received were regular trash, and not for recycling.

When the drivers did come to “collect” on the first visit they did not have the correct location and took photos of doors that were not our unit.

I do not understand why -
1: tracking is not provided for the bags delivery
2: no follow up call was made to pinpoint the location

Customer service is excellent to take out the contract and terrible when an issue arises.

I did manage to speak to someone (after 30m on hold ) regarding the first “failed attempt” and the staff told me we would not be charged for missed delivery since we had not received the recycling bags nor had the driver been to the exact location.

Lo and behold - we have been charged for missed deliveries. We don’t even have any recycling bags. And we can’t speak easily to people on the phone.

Looking to cancel this as the hassle is not worth it so early into the contract
