It's hard to describe how bad Biffa are. We are into the 2nd week of them not meeting their collections (which they still charge you for, even though they fail them). The customer service is dreadful, you can't get through to anyone on email nor live chat, and the phone takes at least half an hour.

I would avoid at all costs for business collections, and can't wait to use a company that actually collects when they say they will.

Spoke to sales rep kirsty made things very easy to understand and five minutes later I was signed up for the service good job 👍

Shockingly bad service! we have fortnightly collections & every second collection they don't collect the bin & send an email saying bin wasn't available or no access ,its totally false ,I even email the them every time & customer service is also shocking ,nothing has been done & they invoice me for a missed collection when its not even my fault .Avoid Biffa unless you wany a refuse company who don't collect your rubbish but bill you for it !

BIffa should put their organisation in the bin as it is THAT bad. I find it hard to explain JUST HOW BAD they are. They never sort out problems with collections, they never answer the phones and they send drivers to the wrong address where there isn't a bin, and they know that. Then bill you for failed collections time and time again. I have cancelled with them as I need a professional company.

Zoe was excellent. She bent over backwards and couldn't have done enough for me. I cannot say how much I appreciated this. She is a credit to the team.

They're daylight robbers.

To all UK customers: Please do not sign up with Biffa. Avoid this company at all costs.
When I joined Biffa, I was told the service would cost approximately £52 per month, which worked out to £12.96 per collection. However, I am now being charged around £130 per month.
I was assured there would be no hidden charges, but that has not been my experience. The collection price has increased to around £20 per collection, and additional fees, such as fuel charges, have also been been added.
To make matters worse, when you try to leave, they make the cancellation process extremely difficult and appear to find reasons to prevent you from ending the contract.
When I questioned why the price had increased so significantly, I was told that the contract allows them to increase their prices at any time, even before the contract expires. This term was written in very small print, making it easy for customers to overlook.
In my opinion, this company is ripping off its customers. I strongly urge UK customers to think very carefully before signing up. Otherwise, you may regret your decision when it is too late.

Awful service collecting bins and just as bad trying to contact them on the phone lines.
Bins regularly not collected for all sorts of reasons. Drivers off ill, relief driver behind as they don't know the route., bin truck broken down, bin stuck in back of bin truck u get them all. The best one is when they take a photo of ur closed site 9.30pm when it specifically states ur opening times for collections are 9 to five. They do this and then try to charge u as they couldn't tip. I cant keep count of how many times I've had to call up to speak to someone on the other end of the line that can't understand why they have come out at those hours.
I can, it's because if u don't phone and complain they will just charge you. In my eyes it's theft.
The other great thing is trying to speak to someone in customer services. Each time it's half an hour at least waiting for someone to possibly answer or hang up on u to start the merry dance all again. To top it of the phone music is some horrendous calypso music to makes ur ears bleed. I've been able to write this novel of a review as I'm on hold to biffa customer services yet again. Stay away at all costs and use a smaller more reliable company as this lot really are awful to deal with let alone give money to. You have been warned. Biffa if u read this sort it out ur service is terrible and give me money money back you tea leaves

This awful company has missed our bin collection again, and we have no indication when we might get the service we are paying for. It might help their focus if their operatives were not making voice calls on hand-held phones while operating large vehicles in residential areas.

How long it took to get contract off the ground

I have been on hold for over half a hour trying to resolve an issue.
Overnight (around 4am) a large bin was delivered in our road and placed in a completely ridiculous place, obstructing a public footpath. Pedestrians and wheelchair users are having to drop down a kerb and go into the road. It needs to be moved immediately but no response to email or phone call makes it impossible to resolve.

My little problem with Biffa resulted from my contract with Waste Managed formerly Cheaper waste. They keep refusing to collect our bins and give all sort of excuses. What marvels me is sending across old pictures depicting current situation. As a result, I feel cheated and disappointed in them.

When a Biffa bin randomly turned up in our private allocated parking area, four lengthy phone calls were made to get it removed. However, after four failed promises by Biffa, it still remains abandoned.

David who was dealing with me was extremely helpful. He was friendly, helpful and informative. He listened to my needs a catered to them. Customer service was exceptional.

Helen Bush was great today, very helpful, a relief to speak to her....I'd been trying to speak to Customer service team since 9;00am this morning seven times, three times your other sales persons put me through to Customer service and I held all three times for 25mins with no reply. Three other times I dial to CST direst, again long hold no answer. I tried on the Bifi chat, replay was, we'll get back in 2no days time, I was fuming!....Then last try via sales and got Helen Bush and she's sorting my problem with Bifi today....THANK-YOU Helen
