Speedy and free
After we confirmed the appointment, we had to alter the timing at short notice. Despite that, the Banham's engineer managed to get to us, did the job quickly and left us with a few minutes to spare.
On our return, we found his complete report -- and the invoice was Zero.

I popped into the Banham Earlsfield…
I popped into the Banham Earlsfield showroom today to get a key cut. I was welcomed by a lovely member of staff called Amie. Amie was really helpful, professional and polite. The key cutting process was done with In 10mins of payment and that included 2 none Banham keys that I needed cutting. The price was very reasonable for such a professional and speedy process. I would definitely recommend Banham locks.

Poor intruder alarm and customer service
Installed the Banham intruder system worth £3k on 8 July. Couldnt connect to the app to set the alarms (which we later on learnt the engineer should have done it with us on the installation day). Called technical support who confirmed to send engineer on 31 July. The appointment then got moved due to "Due to unforeseen circumstances". At the time they were supposed to come, I got a call saying the appointment needs to be moved again to the next day. The repeated rescheduling is not acceptable.
On the day that the engineer visited (which lasted for about 1 hour), we were repeatedly told that we did not install the app correctly. Turns out it was the alarm panel that has gone faulty. For a system that is worth £3k and it is faulty within one month of installation, I am really doubtful of the quality. They also did not apologise at all when I expressed my disappointment via email.
All in all, both the customer service and hardware quality are extremely disappointing.

Banham does provide very adequate…
Banham does provide very adequate security for the home overall. However some of the pitfalls which I have remained to find with the company’s services are:
- Customer support & communication can be improved especially over the telephone
- Engineer visit should be more punctual and better informed ahead of time!
- Company’s protocol should be reviewed overall for the satisfaction of its customers.

I called Banham to explain the issue I…
I called Banham to explain the issue I was having with my entrance door. They sent me a locksmith, even though I explained that the issue had to do with the door hinges and that’s where I needed help. I had to pay a lot for nothing, as the locksmith refused to solve the issue - and had to pay for someone else from a different company to come help. I asked Banham to at least offer me a partial refund, as they had mistakenly sent someone who could absolutely not help, but they refused to acknowledge the mistake on their end and refused to offer even a partial refund. I was fully trusting the company given the fact that they usually offer premium services, but I was very wrong.
