Shocking service AVOID!!!
We broke down in Belgium and they were terrible, first of all telling us to call the police, which we did and then called us back to say that wasn't needed. We had already done this and therefore had to pay for recovery up front which they have said they will reimburse but it just wasn't required. Then we were left stranded in the middle of nowhere having to arrange ourselves to get home with 2 dogs. The one thing we let them do was the car hire from dover and they couldn't even get that right! The couldn't find a hotel for us saying nowhere accepted dogs in brussels, we found multiple hotels with available rooms and booked it ourselves. They weren't able to find any trains to get us to calais but with the power of the internet and a phone we were able to do this!
Then a week later after wasint our time trying to find a garage in belgium they have no told us they won't cover the cost of repatriation of the vehicle and we have to do this. If we'd have known this a week ago we would have organised it ourselves and probably have our vehicle back already but now we have to wait even longer to get it back!
Absolutely shocking service from them, AVOID!!!
3.5 weeks into this now and having initially told them the van needed a new engine due to a hole in it, they have now informed me that the garage they sent it to has confirmed this and that has cost me €134 which I have to pay and not them! On the plus side they will cover up to £500 towards my own private repatriation...

Dismal, deserving of no stars. Left us in a difficult position last December when we had a total blackout. Initially said we had no claim but when revisited said they would log it. Took 72 hours to get an electrician to call! Some Emergency cover! As it turned out it was a provider issue, that required outside repairs but hardly the point. Fast forward to yesterday, a simple leak to repair. When trying to log the fault, the feedback from AXA was we had no policy? I give up. Renewal is due on a few weeks. Safe to say Hastings and AXA are not on the list.

Useless
Flat tyre and broken rim on M1. Asked to be towed to get to a safe location. And they told us 90 minutes after an hour phone call. And ended up getting it recovered with someone else. Even tho our insurance is with them. Gonna cancel my insurance with them straight away!
