Avery and Bennett is a scam. They are in China. My order is never delivered. I lost money.

If I could give a minus 1 star.. I would.. I wish I had gone online and read reviews… but the front page of their website showed 2 mature attractive women from Maine who supposedly own this store…The Celeste”fox fur” hat was a joke and nothing like the picture they posted online! Fake and cheap! They told me if I wanted to return it I would have to pay my own postage(!) and mail to China! I checked and the cost is ridiculous!
Such a sorry way to run a business!

Ordered two hats for Christmas gifts. I had no idea they were being shipped from China. They were poor quality and too small. I contacted Avery and was told I had to ship them back myself. The cost was $200+. I will never order from this company again & advise others not to as well. Their fancy website is misleading. Save your money & stay away.

Order is not what was advertised. The winter coat doesn't even come close to fitting, came in a little bag, and the coat is super lightweight. Why are there no refunds on something that clearly was false advertised?????

It took about a month to receive my hats from China, made with low quality material.

Very poor rating. (I’d give them a “negative” minus -10 if the scale allowed it.)
I ordered the Celeste™ | Fox Fur Hat. When the package came, about 2-weeks for delivery, the product was counterfeit and of very poor quality and very fake. When I tried to return the item that was shipped from California, Avery &Bennet told me I had to return it to China and they provided me a distribution address located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province
China…really?????? I was not treated right and will never buy another thing from this company as I felt scammed by the inferior product they shipped. Be aware!!!! Also, reported them along with pictures to the BBB.
Note: This is my first review. I’ve never taken the time to write a review in my life and this experience was so bad I had to take the time to warn other people.

Awful company. Avoid at all costs.
Very long delay to deliver what was supposed to be a Christmas order. It still hasn’t arrived after nearly 3 weeks. Bombarded by email ‘updates’ which provide no real update about shipping. I have tried to get a full refund but they keep telling me it is in transit. This is a company pretending to be in London but it is actually in China. Reading these reviews I dread to think how I am going to return the item if it does ever arrive. Lesson learnt.

Poor visibility of delivery time until after purchase, then says 10 business days but actually took 16 so missed the event I wanted it for. Dress is badly fitting and material so rigid that if it did fit you wouldn’t be able to move. Then return costs £20 to china!!!

Do not order!!! I placed my order over 1 month ago - still nothing has been received. Both occasions to which I wanted to wear my outfit to, have passed! Stay well clear… I have request my order be cancelled and a refund issued…

This company is making out it’s London based. The clothing comes from china and you have to pay to send it back yourself if the item doesn’t fit or you’re not happy with it. The dress I ordered is nothing like in the picture when it arrives they described it as suede no way.😡 when I ordered my item, it was called henley london . Now it’s changed its name to avery London.. avoid this website like the plague it’s a massive scam.

This company is a scam....do not buy from them . They should not be permitted on Facebook.
Quality..rubbish . Not as photos. Am not engaging in returning their rubbish as don't want to engage further with them . Lesson learnt

WARNING! Do NOT buy anything from this company! They are NOT UK based as they claim to be. They are Chinese using false images to the goods you are sent. Then you have to send back at your own expense to China. If item is lost or gets damaged then no refund. Takes ages to post to you and no doubt send back.

Don’t buy from this company or the many others advertising on Facebook currently they are Chinese claiming to be British companies. The quality is dreadful and literally no chance of money back.

Stole photos directly from my instagram and used them in their online store to scam people.

Items were cheaply made. One item didnt look like the pic of the one I had ordered. Return policy is horrible. After emails back and forth trying to get my full refund and saying I was going to the Better Business Bureau, their website is no longer active. I am out almost $200 - read the reviews on these stores, wish I had.

I ordered a cardigan promoted from Avery and Lane via Facebook. the image shown was an embroidered cardigan with raised, 3-dimensional flowers. What arrived is a garment with a "similar" design PRINTED on the fabric. Hideous. You can do anything via photoshop or AI. If this wasn't from China, I would of course return it. LOL I will take it to Goodwill

Got sent a dress but it was a totally different dress to the one I ordered, and much worse quality than it seemed in the picture. Sent from China, need to pay for postage and packaging myself to return. Would not recommend at all.

I totally agree with all the other reviews. If I could give 0 i would Returns have to go to China which costs and that’s after numerous emails from this company trying to get me to keep the items/ partial refund which was never going to happen I didn’t want more clutter in my wardrobe. Customer service is non existent- how I wish I’d read the reviews before shopping with this “company”.
