A Waste of Money
I have been a customer for almost 3 years. The service they offer sounds good, however it is only as good as the providers they hire to actually repair the equipment in your home. From claim time to actually seeing a repair person is approximately 10 days. That is TOOOO long! The providers they use in my area are not recognizes repair companies that traditionaly service Whirlpool or GE products. They are small companies with not the highest trained people.
After my last bad experience, I attempoted to cancel. I was told to cancel I would have to pay almost $200.00 early termination fee. They told me they had paid out more than they collected inpremium and the difference was that amount. In other words, after 3 years of payments, I had to pay the the amount they paid in claims to walk away. This is absurd! I reccomend you shop and ask questions when you look for a home warranty company. This experience was a disaster. I have since found Choice Home Warranty.

I have no water, ARW will not answer the phone, contractor no show for 3 days
My sink pipes underneath my kitchen cabinet blew. The turn off valve underneath will not turn off the water. I have been waiting for 3 days for the contractor to show up. I had to turn off the water to the whole house, we have not had water to shower, in the toilets, however my kitchen faucet is still leaking. I am catching the water to use for the toilets and to use buckets to wash dishes. When I called the contractor they assigned, I said hello, he replied "worst timing" and hung up on me. I have called the contractor 5 times over three days. He keeps saying he is coming out, or that he will try to come out. No one will answer the phone at ARW! I have no water, no contractor, and for icing on the cake they said if it is the faucet it is not covered. I have been paying $69. a month. No previous claims. They are very unprofessional. I am still on hold with ARW, I wanted to sign up I am sure they would answer the phone. However, because I am actually making a claim I can't get assistance. I have called ARW 4 times, been on hold for hours trying to speak to someone. The worst.

Juliana, we are sorry to hear about the disruption this plumbing issue has caused, and we understand how difficult it is to be without normal water service. We want to provide some additional context regarding the timeline and the steps taken on your claim.
The claim was reported to ARW on August 11, and a service provider was assigned within minutes that same day. The provider's contact information was also emailed that day and opened the following day. Because this review was posted on August 12, our records reflect that the claim was assigned and action was taken promptly upon receipt.
Regarding hold times, our call history reflects several subsequent calls; however, those calls ended in the automated phone system before connecting with an ARW representative. Our records do not support the characterization that hours were spent on hold waiting to speak with an agent.
We also want to be clear that the provider interaction described in this review does not reflect the standard of service we require of our network, and this matter is being reviewed accordingly.
A member of ARW management will be reaching out to Juliana directly to discuss the claim and next steps. To protect customer privacy, we are unable to share further account-specific information in a public forum.

The associate was very knowledgeable and very patient with me. He was amazing with the information he gave me, very smart. He schooled me on how ARW is rated A and the competition was a B.
